Customer service is trash. There representative kevin gomez has been very unhelpful. He's ignored my emails its been 2 weeks now since last contact. Long story short i bought a clutch master cylinder from them. It started leaking from the o ring seals. I asked if they sell replacement o rings. He said " his seal kit may not work with that model housing" then why is the company selling stuff you dont make replacement parts or o ring kits for. He then tried to up sale me a new unit at a " discounted price" then i told him i already bought another one so now i have two that has both faild o rings. Run now while you can! I bought their dual comp clutch for my 97 4runner restoration. After rebuilding the engine and transmission, I installed their clutch kit. Could not get the clutch to disengage after putting things back together. Put in new master and remote cylinder. Bled the system 15 times, triple checked everything. On their suggestion, I pulled the transmission back out and paid $90 shipping back to Clutch Masters. They looked at it, told me it was in spec and shipped it back. I re-installed it again and triple checked everything again, same result. No disengagement when pressing pedal. Out of other things to try, I bought an Excedy clutch and put that in the truck, my third time to pull this transmission. Lo and behold, it works perfectly. Clutch Masters response? The Clutch was in spec, no accommodations made of any sort. They cost me days of labor and about 1k$ wasted on parts i didn't need including their non functioning Clutch kit. Run away! read more

Completely disappointed with my experience with clutch masters, I went with them because It was a name I was familiar with and I thought they had a quality product and would have helpful customer service but I was completely wrong. After speaking to Kevin Gomez at clutch masters and telling him my setup he recommended me the wrong clutch (fx300) for my stage 2 2015 bmw f80 m3 and once putting it in and breaking it in, clutch starting slipping right away in 5th and 6th gear. They offered to upgrade me to a fx400 for a discounted price. I highly recommend going to any other company!! I should've gone with a MOTIV clutch which will be what I will be getting now since clutchmasters is unwilling to rectify this issue and take responsibility for recommending the wrong clutch. read more

Do not recommend. Purchases a clutch kit from them and it only last 7k and started slipping. All they will do is offer a discounted price for another kit. So now I am out 1200 for a clutch and 1700 for the install. I have been gone serving my country and my car hasn't been drove much the past six months and this is what I come home to. Didn't know they were so local. Was willing to drive an hour plus for a clutch by them. Upon arriving a gentleman guided me as he asked for what use the clutch was gonna be for. Told me benefits on each one and their use. Went on and purchased a stage 1 and have yet to pick it up. {Edit: picked up clutch set and it included a clutch release bearing with it too and a alignment tool} Friends have purchased a set for their cars so I know the quality Ill be using for my vehicle. I usually don't do this but needed to write a review as this company had clearly sent me the wrong clutch kit even after ordering it directly from their main office hub. Cost me money and time when it came to having it installed it was sent back but they refuse to pay for shipping cost for their mistake. They offered to pay me shipping costs that I originally paid 23.00 But only after I contacted the Better Business Bureau. They would not return the shipping cost $33 to send it back to them. For a business that's been around as long as clutch Masters has I am extremely disappointed that they are unwilling to refund the money it cost to ship the clutch kit due to their error application. Be aware up this business. And look local if need clutch kits has theirs are not as great as they state they are from previous reviews I'm reading. Bought a clutch the day before thanksgiving which was a Wednesday, talked to them about noon that day was told it was pulled and packed for shipping but yet it did not ship untell monday sobthe car was sitting in the local shop I took it too waisting space because they were to lazy to slap a label on it and ship it.
