Right away I was immediately greeted by a server and throughout my visit three different servers were around and helping me out/checking in so I definitely never felt the service was lacking or that it was slow in any capacity. The food is standard bar food, nothing out of this world but nothing I had was bad. The cheesecurds are unique using spotted cow batter, they also have a great cheese pull! Drinks are a little privet for a sports bar but I think they're worth it, tasty and strong! A great experience overall! read more

Wow. What a horrible place. The service might be the worst I've ever had. The first time in my life I've given no tip. They simply ignore you. Don't bring what you asked for. And get a bill? Good luck . Avoid this place at all costs. We asked for a lime. A lime. Three times. Never got it. Want to watch your food sit under a heat lamp? This would be the place. Didn't want to venture out in the rain so we ended up here. Horrible service. Waited over 30 minutes for a server to come by our table. Had to go to the bar to get water and silverware and to get the bill. Food took another 45 minutes. It sat in the kitchen window and was cold by the time we got it. Maybe they were understaffed on a weeknight? But when we sat down after peak dinner hours it wasn't very busy. We had a table of 4 and we all got our food at different times. Waitresses took forever to come over, food took forever, overall terrible service and food. Our group was 8 people, 3 people got their food first, 15 minutes later 3 more, 15 minutes later 2 more. I'm not exaggerating it was a 30 minute timespan by the time everyone got their meal. There were other people there but everyone else was just drinking, no one else was eating so it's not like the kitchen was busy. Our table also only ordered burgers, salads, and flatbread. The 2 flatbreads are what came last. The burgers were overcooked to the point that the patty was falling apart and falling off the bun if you picked up the burger. The sports bar in the hotel where the Green Bay Packers stay and one that dubs itself a sports bar...you'd expect the game vs KC to be on, right? Had to ask to have the pregame turned on...and literally halfway through the first quarter they are still "working on" figuring out the sound. Sorry we gave this place a second chance. Watching the game in silence isn't what we expected at this Packers bar. Now the bartender is recommending patrons go elsewhere if they like the sound on. Really. Do better. read more

Service was great! Prices not so much. A shot of bourbon was 1/2 the normal bottle price. Way over inflated prices. I expect higher prices at a hotel bar, but when 2 shots is more than the whole bottle it is out of hand. Beware before ordering. Horrendous wait times and the server seemed offended we asked for silverware and some napkins... Drink prices are steep. Rail is $15 a pour. Restaurant gets two stars purely for ambiance. It could be a great place to go. Service, food, and prices just kill any opportunity. Definitely much better option a short walk away. read more

Decent Sports Bar, with better than average beer on tap choices and slightly below average food. So, why the hate for this place? I just don't get it. I have eaten here five times over the past four years. Consistently good service Good tap beer selections (not awesome, but not just PBR either) Prices are decent. Enough TV's so you can watch any sports event you want. Staff can be fun snarky. Food...well, kind of meh. Frozen burgers (might even be precooked), meh breaded fries. For all of that, still tastes ok. I almost want to go to four stars to make up for the chuckle head haters, but, it's really a 3 star kind of place. Visited the Clubhouse on a Saturday. We were at an event at the attached Fox Cities Exhibition Center. It was an easy skywalk over to the Clubhouse. We arrived, ordered 2 beers, and requested a menu. The bartender stated that they weren't serving food off the menu. The only option was a brat, hamburger, and baked bean bar for $10 per person. No other items/sides were on the bar. We were disappointed that this was the only option. Many people from the event stopped in, learned of the lack of food, and left. Seems like a bad business plan. read more

About six weeks ago I was in Appleton, WI for a wedding of a good friend of mine from high school. His name is Chuck and he's a pretty cool guy. I found during my stay in Appleton that it is quite the place for drinking and mingling. I had a great time staying in town for a few nights. The wedding was awesome BTW. I stopped into The Clubhouse for a burger and a beer while I was waiting for others to make their way downtown to some random bars for drinks and revelry. This was the only mistake of my trip. I do not understand why people make hamburgers to bready. I ordered a basic burger with bleu cheese and bacon, along with a side of fries and whatever was on tap / special. The burger was 80% bun. I was looking forward to getting a good pub burger, all I got was a bun. I have gotten used to having crappy burgers, as everywhere in Las Vegas is a chain crap hole in the wall unless you're down on the strip. Nobody wants to go down on the strip just to grab a pub burger and some onion rings if you live in Las Vegas. This means my life is void of this epic mid-west staple. The ladies behind the bar were nice enough until they found out I wasn't going to pound 50 beers, thus, my bill wasn't going to be more than 10 bucks or so. There were four guys sitting to my left talking about topical sports subjects like baseball, the NFL lockout, and whether their wives were going to give them any special handy attention when they got home that night. I guess this is what passes for decent pub conversation now a days. Either way, their burgers looked super bread mode as well. I finished my meh burger, left half my beer and made my way down the street to another random pub that had a better vibe. I should have had dinner at Lombardi's, which was right next door. This is a nice Sports bar/Restaurant inside the Paper Valley. I stopped in here after a wedding reception on Saturday night. Drinks are cheap compared to Milwaukee and there are lots of TV's to show lots of games. The only real negative was that I waited quite a long time for a server to notice me. read more

When there are conferences at the hotel and this place is packed, it doesn't make sense to have only one server. She was pleasant and did a remarkable job keeping up but it was obvious she was frazzled. The place was about half full so I hope they have more than one server when the Packers play at home. They should have anticipated a larger crowd and planned accordingly to have more waitstaff. We asked for assistance from another worker but still no one came to take our order.
