My experience trying to cancel my membership has been unbelievably frustrating and feels designed to make cancellation nearly impossible. When I attempted to cancel, I was told that I could not cancel unless I paid a renewal fee that had not even come due yet. In other words, I would have to pay a future renewal fee just to stop my membership. That made absolutely no sense. Because of this, I went into the gym in person to resolve the issue. I spoke directly with the General Manager, Chris Marriotti, explained the billing situation, and told him that I had been unable to cancel my membership properly. He told me that both my wife's membership and my membership were canceled and that everything was taken care of. Unfortunately, that was not true. Despite being told in person by the general manager that the memberships were canceled, the gym continues to charge the account and has now even added late fees. The memberships still appear to be active even though we were told everything had been handled. So now I am dealing with charges, late fees, and a membership that was supposed to already be canceled by management. This has been an extremely frustrating experience. When a customer goes in person, speaks to the general manager, and is told everything is resolved, that should be the end of it. Instead, it has turned into an ongoing billing issue. If you are considering joining this gym, I strongly recommend reading the contract very carefully and understanding exactly how their cancellation process works before signing anything.

My biggest complaint is cleanliness. The gym could do a much better job maintaining and sanitizing equipment for a gym open 24 hours. I would strongly recommend wiping down any machine before and after using it. I saw the same gum wrapper in the treadmill I use 4 days in a row. And this was recent. Cleanliness of equipment has been an issue since they opened. Overall, it's not a bad gym for the money, the staff is kind but if cleanliness and parking are important to you, there are definitely other options in the area.

Now I'm being told by staff that the referral program only applies during my first month as a member. This was never mentioned anywhere--not on the website, not on the referral sheet, and not verbally when I asked about it beforehand. Before referring my friends, I even called the gym to confirm the details, and no one mentioned this limitation. During my friends' sign-ups, the sales rep took my information (email and phone number) and assured me he would submit everything to management and that I'd hear back within a week. I never received any communication. When I followed up, I was told that only one of my referrals was counted. What happened to the other two? There has been no clear explanation. At this point, it feels like the gym is trying to avoid honoring the 1-year free membership reward. The written terms only refer to the qualifying referrals and say nothing about restrictions on the referring member's membership timeline. This situation is frustrating and misleading, and feels like they are cheating their way out of the perk.

I then noticed in May after looking at the card I did not use much that they had been continuously charging me the $130 dollars a month for both the membership and the $100 a month personal training. Not only was I not going but I had moved to a completely new state. When I noticed I called immediately and they looked into it and let me know that the original person I spoke to canceled the wrong persons memebership instad of mine. I was told I would be processed for a full refund and was only given back $50 of the almost $800 they stole from me. Everytime I call to try and get confirmation on being refunded the rest of the money I am told the manager is busy and will "look into it". I then have to be the one to follow up. The front desk people are wonderful and as helpful as they can be, but the management seem to care less and have bigger priorities. I find this extremely unprofessional and scummy and do not appreciate being out $800 because they decided to charge me for services I did not use. Additionally when attending personal training session you have to scan in with a finger print to confirm that you were the one attending the session, so I find it super suspicious that I was even being charged when I stopped attending the gym and was not there to sign into my PT sessions. Long story short, be aware when signing up for PT and getitng a membership at this gym. Do your due diligence to make sure they are not able to continue to charge you. Even after calling them the second time in May they still tried to charge my card (even at different locations I had never been to) and I had to have my bank block them from charging me. I will warn you to stay away from the personal training service. It is done through a third-party and I signed up shortly after joining. I was contacted once about five weeks later to ask me if I wanted to schedule a training session. By this time I had already made my first of four attempts to cancel the service. They never contacted me again about a training session, but since they wouldn't cancel my service and I stopped payments through the credit card. They got very interested in contacting me every few days about paying for the service that they never provided.

The regular gym section is large and has a big turf area which a lot of other gyms I've been to are missing. You can come here for 10 Dollars a month which is great, or 20 if you want to go to all the locations. The classes they offer are good, but not many throughout the day. For example if you want to do a cycle class the one they have is at like 5:30 am. Even if you work in the morning day 8 or 9 to be 5:30 is still super early. They do have different options of classes though, so that is cool. If you want to go to a piyoga class they offer that (Pilates mixed with yoga). They also have a sauna and a basket ball court. All in all I would say try it out. The only thing it's missing really is a pool and hot tub, but for 10 dollars you can't complain
