Not what I was expecting at all. I hate to be so harsh, but there really was a moment where I considered leaving because I was uncomfortable being there. There wasn't anyone at the front desk to instruct me where to go. My class was scheduled to start at 7AM, but at 7:05 there still wasn't anyone at the front desk to check me in. I could hear an instructor in one of the many closed doors in the hallway teaching another class, but I honestly didn't know which one and if I should open them to find someone. It was pretty bizarre. Around 7:10 the instructor, Carol, came out and greeted everyone and got us checked in. Class started around 7:15. The class room was small and cluttered. The equipment was dated. I typically struggle with two red and one blue spring on the reformer, but it was a breeze. I'm wondering if thats because they were worn in and old?Idk. The class itself I did not find challenging. Carol, who was very friendly, did not pay attention to the entire class, but instead made small talk with one participant who attends her classes regularly. Carol didn't even keep count of our reps! She was constantly asking the same said participant "what number are we on?" resulting in in uneven numbers on different sides. At one point Carol started to straighten the crooked pictures hanging on the wall, forgetting how many reps we were doing, then left the room and came back a while later and said "ok, let's do the other side now!" as if she knew exactly where we were! I must have done 30-40 side angle dips on my left and maybe 10 on my right. It felt very thrown together. Like she had no idea what she would have us do next. It wasn't fluid and it wasn't good. If I had paid $25 to attend this class I would want my money back. And if I wouldn't have been charged $20 for missing the class (through ClassPass) I would have left.

Each time, I got an amazing workout and was super sore days afterward. I fully intend on signing up for their one month of unlimited classes deal for $99! The studio is small, but so are the movements so you don't need much space. I attended a class with maybe 20 other people? Even with a packed class, it didn't seem crowded. It also seemed to me that the other ladies (and one gentleman) were regulars so they knew what to do and what to expect which made me feel happy to know that if I kept going it would eventually feel less foreign. Can't wait to go back!

In 2021, I underwent shoulder surgery on both shoulders--one in February and the second in July. I…read moreintentionally scheduled both surgeries within the same calendar year so my insurance deductible and annual out-of-pocket maximum would be met once. I explained my strategy to S2S at the 1st therapy appointment. They said this will not be an issue, and they dealt with similar situations all the time. Everything proceeded without issue until about October 2021. When I checked in for my appointment, I was told I owed a copay, despite my out-of-pocket maximum having already been satisfied. I immediately raised the concern, questioned why I owed this charge, but paid it anyway. I explained my strategy to S2S again, and said that I will not pay any out of pocket expense during 2021, and that we should cancel any future appointments until this was resolved. I was told it must be an error on BCBS's end, and they would get it taken care of, and that I needed the therapy, so please continue my scheduled appointments. They told me at my next appointment that BCBS said I had exceeded my maximum allowed sessions for the year, but not to worry. They would get another prescription from my Surgeon for additional therapy, and I would not be charged anything. I suggested cancelling that appointment until they received the prescription, and BCBS had approved it. They assured me that I would not be charged anything, and they were 100% confident they would handle it. Based on these clear and repeated assurances, I continued treatment in good faith. At no point during my visits was I informed of an outstanding balance, provided documentation of charges, or told payment would be required. After a few more visits, when checking in, I asked for an update. I was told that I had a balance, and that they had been adding charges every time I came. I was very upset, reminded them of our many conversations about this, & cancelled that appointment, and any future appointments. They kept pressuring me to continue my therapy. I told them that if & when they get these charges removed and provided me with written assurance that I owed nothing, then I would return. I never heard anything from S2S until several months later. I was contacted by their accounting department and informed that I had a balance of nearly $700. I again explained the prior assurances made by management. I was told the matter would be reviewed and that I would be contacted if there was an issue. I never heard anything else from S2S, until more than a year of no communication. It was their accounting department asking if I contact BCBS and appeal their case and try to get BCBS to agree to pay the balance. I agreed to help, and spent almost 4 hours working directly with my insurance provider trying to appeal the charges, but was unsuccessful. I promptly relayed this information to S2S. They thanked me for trying and hung up. I assumed that was the end of it. Nearly four years after treatment, I was contacted by Meredith Tittle (the owner) offering me a payment plan, despite the prior assurances that these charges would never be my responsibility. I informed Meredith (in detail) about every conversation I had with her people. Soon thereafter, the account was sent to collections and reported to the credit bureaus, but the new amount is over $1,000. This dispute is not about ability to pay--it is about reliance on repeated representations made by staff who stated they had authority and assured me I would not be charged. Those assurances were the sole reason I continued treatment. My advice to others is simple: do not rely on verbal assurances from S2S regarding billing or insurance coverage--get everything in writing.

We were in town for business so we wanted a place that would take ClassPass credits and able to accommodate about 7 of us with varying degrees of experience with barre. For me, this was my second barre class ever, first with barre3, and it blew my first experience out of the water. I had issues with my first barre class (again, not with barre3) with the instructor going too fast, not showing us what to do, and me being very confused through the hour. I'm no stranger to yoga, Pilates, and working out in general so it was a bit frustrating going into barre. This was not true with barre3-Coppell! We had the pleasure of having Mary Beth teach our class. She is helpful, engaging, and pushed us to do our best. She guided us all through the class, showed us modifications that we could do depending on our ability, and encouraged us throughout the class. I had such a great time and a nice workout for the evening. My only qualm with our 7pm class was that the room where we performed barre was very... dank and warm. Presumably from the last class and as an encouragement (?) to also sweat off our day. Which I did and I got a great workout, but a little air would help! I've also taken reformer classes with Nia (another great vibes class) and Yoga with Noor and Cycling with Emily. The coaches are the best I've experienced in all my years at OTF and other gyms/personal training experiences. I also LOVE the free weight areas and the cardio/hyrox setups. Club Studio Coppell blows boutique and traditional fitness out of the water. The staff, cleanliness, and the members make this 10/10. Everyone I've recommended Club Studio too has signed up for their own membership so far haha SO WORTH IT!

I avoided going upstairs because it was just so hard to climb them. So my wife found this close-by place called Perfect Workout. Ideal for me! Slow weight training like my doctor had recommended. Once a week, 20 minutes in and out (in theory, though I usually end up chatting with my trainer, Janine, and filling the full half hour appointment). So now I can leg press 400 lbs and curl 100. I've lost a bunch of belly girth, built up my arm and leg muscles, and now stairs and chairs are no match for me! Thanks for saving me from myself, Janine! I highly recommend this workout style and the Flower Mound Perfect Workout in particular.

There are no funny signs in the lobby like at the Lovers location, though. I think it would help to shift the reformers a little bit back away from the mirror, because in the first class I took, we had to take our arms out to the side and mine hit the mirror because the reformers are too close. There is enough space behind the second row to move them back a little. There are bathrooms in the back right side down a small hallway. I have taken two instructors' classes here in the past few days and found them to be fun and challenging. I always enjoy Session when I am in Dallas, and this location is slightly closer to my in-laws' house than the Lovers studio.
