When it comes to night clubs in Guelph, none do it quite like Palace. The place has a strong…read morereputation to it - not necessarily one of high class, but definitely one of adventure & fun. You either go in knowing exactly what you're getting into or you find yourself in the middle of the dance floor when you could have sworn you were JUST across the street. Either way, you're in for a special evening. Seriously. Tell someone you're "going to Palace tonight" & watch the reaction. Palace is one of the strongest dance clubs in the city. Delightfully trashy, but still carries an exclusive vibe & appeal. The music is always bangin'. The crowds are always alive. The lights are always flashing. The environment is great for the person or group looking to "rage" or get a little rowdy. Dance music, cages, live DJ & a chill spot upstairs. Pricing is a bit high for the quantity & they don't take card, but the bartenders are super nice. Looking for a "different" night? Time to hit up Palace.

Not sharing that to be a deterrent, just to be aware, because this place is great! This place has two distinct areas with two distinct vibes (at least when I went), with one being R&B and dance songs, and the other being country. They have plenty of areas to hang out at, and the overall vibe is a healthy balance between hype and chill! Everyone was super friendly from the security, bar staff, and the patrons themselves! The staff is friendly; the bartender told me Rye and ginger is the most drank combination, so when in Canada do as they, just watch out, tastes smoothly but hits you hard, well maybe after the 4th. This second time a guy had the amazing touch of sending me a drink (thank you!!). This time I arrived too early, people started showing up around 11:30. A bizarre anecdote: a lady approached me, booty bumped me, asked where I was from and left. A cool thing: while dancing a luchador appeared with lights in the shoes.
