The studio is newer and looks great. The bartender, Eryn, was very friendly and encouraging. The instructor, Amy, was amazing - clear instructions, very encouraging, good corrections. Really, truly an excellent experience. (BTW, I am lifelong runner and cyclist and Pure Barre is a wonderfully challenging workout on its own and is a great compliment to my other activities. And if you're new to PB, it does take time - like 5 to 10 classes - before you really catch the flow.)

Pilates works muscles you don't realize you have. I love seeing myself grow stronger and more flexible. I have people in my classes that are in their 20s and others who are retirement age. The instructions are great at starting at the beginning and progressing to the advanced and letting you stay where you are challenged. The membership is expensive but I think it is worth the investment in my health.
