All of the instructors are very nice, knowledgeable and assist each person with any needed corrections to help us improve our practice. I took a class with Gracie yesterday and she is awesome. Used muscles I never used before. She was informative and descriptive of what we need to do, what muscle group and what we should be feeling and where. Reminding us to breathe and tuck the stomach. I loved every minute of it. I've been doing pilates for 3years now. I recently joined the studio in manhattan beach and let me tell you, it was a great decision. I want to advance in my practice and this is the place where i can do that. I want to get up to 2.5. i've taken two classes so far with Andrea Nares and let me tell you that she is awesome. she had me doing moves i had never done before at other studios. This is the best kept pilates studio secret in the South Bay. My fave instructors are Gracie, Sam, Carol and Leslie. The recently added 5am class with Sam Hedding has been a god send for those early risers with kids, early risers who work EST, or early risers in general. Sam keeps the classes spicy in which no 2 classes are ever the same making the class time whizz by. The variety of instructors and levels keeps me coming back, I've went from 2 days a week to now aiming for 4, with all different instructors to mix it up. I've tried other studios, however the diversity, class availability times and quality instructors keeps me coming back. Love this place~! If you do plan on booking, you may need to book out for several weeks as the classes fill fast, and the wait lists can be long. (Which is a good sign!). read more

Also, I was randomly charged class cancellation fee, even though I was present in the class. When I asked them to resolve for me, I never hear back. If you are a busy professional and cannot drop everything to get a spot 2 hours before class from the waitlist, then I do not recommend the membership! You will have to book 2 weeks ahead, otherwise, expect be on the waitlists. It means if your membership starts on the 1st, you basically only have the last weeks in a month 15th- 30th to use your 8 classes, or your credit expires. The app does not allow me to book classes even I had credits... gives a 'you are out of credit' message. It is chore to manage another calendar and call management to fix the glitch (3 times in the first month)! And I agree with everyone to explained how hard it is to cancel the membership. There are many other ways to have a great workout than draining energy to manage the calendar! read more

First and foremost, Gracie is an amazing instructor. I enjoyed her classes. Now, I would not recommend getting into their "memberships" ! It is the hardest thing to get out of. I was told this was a 3 month membership as I was signing the contract. I still signed up thinking if it did not suit me I would just cancel. I had no clue how to cancel as that was not "clearly" explained at any time during the contract signing. I reached out by phone- no answer and finally got a response via email with instructions on how to cancel . I emailed my advance notice to cancel 30 days BEFORE my next payment and they emailed me stating I would still have to pay another month because it was within the 30 days! I was unable to get someone on the phone to discuss that I had given 30 days notice so I would not be charged for another month and all I could get was an email response every 3 days. They finally agreed that I gave 30 days notice ( once I sent a calendar counting off the 30 days and a screenshot of their contract where it states this) and then said they were going to charge me a final payment! Final payment for what I asked and to please direct me to the verbiage in the contract where this is stated and I never received any response back. The cancellation process sucks, classes are always booked and if you don't use your credits within the month you loose them! This was the main reason I wanted to cancel in the first place. Do better Club Pilates ! I get that you want to make money but not honoring your own cancellation policy is so wrong! I should never have had to go through all of this to cancel a "membership"! read more

I recently tried a class at this location and I was impressed with the facility and the instructor. Initially one of the workers reached out to find out what you wanted to focus on and how she could help. I felt was great because she wanted to make sure your needs are met. Fast forward to class and the facility, you walk into a warm welcome by the staff. The facility was clean, had a great scent in the air, and the playlist was great!! I also enjoyed that they asked if you wanted to be by the air conditioner or not. I felt that it was helpful since some people sweat more often than others. I had a great workout and they provided a breakdown of the prices after the class. My only issue is that it is very hard to sign up for a class. They are booked solid for the entire month for classes on the weekends. It makes it hard if you work or if you work far to make a class on time. I would recommend if you are able to take a class during the week, this facility is for your. Also, I think drop in classes are good because then you will not have to worry about a waitlist. read more

Im surprised how we cant cancel our membership in person, we have to email and its a back and forth email to why we want to cxl. I tried it for the 3 months, there was always a wait for a class and the classes dont really feel like a workout even if you take the 1.5 level. Last time i barely burned 70 calories. read more

The Manhattan Beach location has the most terrible admin or management people. The instructors are nice and I would have continued to go here if I hadn't been completely bullied by the manager or one of them (i think her name was María Elena). It was the most horrendous experience I have ever had, being yelled at, barked at, spoken condescendingly to, forced to buy things I didn't need, lied about how to the booking system works (or what other studios offer), etc etc. And this after they had 2 clients with us (husband and wife). Needless to say, they lost both and I'm gonna warn people about this location as much as I can. read more
