The information I got upon arrival was that I would need to wear grippy socks. I got to my class 10 minutes early with my grippy socks and they proceeded to tell me the style I was wearing wasn't accepted and I wouldn't be able to enter class unless I purchased a 20$ pair of socks from them. The "reason" they didn't accept them is because they were from a jump zone. Wether or not that was the case this should have been information provided before the day of class. read more

I have now been a member for 1 month and can say that this is a fantastic studio! I had never taken reformer Pilates before and was super intimidated by the reformer! The intro class was really great to conquer that- i loved that (for an out of shape mom) it was an actual workout, just abbreviated and slower to include explanation. I've taken classes with Christine, Hayley, Karli, Maife and Jess and all are really excellent! Each provide clear instruction and push for proper form and movement. Could not recommend this location enough. Also- the other members are awesome as well- super welcoming, friendly and no cliques. My only piece of feedback is that the first week really should be complimentary as it's highly unlikely to be able to book a class, and even the 2nd week, I was only able to get off the waitlist 2ce. That said, once you're on a roll, it's great and I'm now fully booked through July. read more

I'm very impressed with the introductory class that I sign up for a membership. The instructor was patience with us because there's literally 3 people like myself that have NEVER TRY PILATES. Now I know there's a problem with booking classes because it fills up fast.. But over all, I would like to add this to my routine. It's easy on my knees and my back. And that's what I need right now. I'm excited about this new workout option that recently opened in Fort Mill. I've previously taken barre & mat pilates classes however I'd never had the opportunity to experience the Reformer. This studio provides this (and more!) at a reasonable price whether you choose a monthly membership or just drop in occasionally. I arrived about 15 minutes early and received a friendly greeting and was assisted with checking in. Since this was my first time, a few minutes were spent explaining some administrative stuff while the earlier class finished up. Once it was time for my class to begin, we were shown into the studio and guided to choose our machine. At this point Farrah began to explain what each device was used for which was comforting as a first timer since the equipment looked much like i'd expect to see in a medieval torture chamber!! Farrah walked us through some basic exercises working with many of the different pieces of equipment. I allowed myself to believe that because i was laying down for a large portion of class, that this would be pretty easy. WRONG! I can tell already I'll be pleasantly sore this time tomorrow! All in all I'm very much looking forward to continuing to grow in this new practice. I'm expecting to gain back some flexibility and mobility - things I lost after a foot injury made it painful to continue my previous workouts. The mobile app makes scheduling classes easy on the go. After a minor snafu with signups, I can say I am excited about this new opportunity and will recommend it as a top choice to my clients in the future. read more

Amazing studio. The staff are friendly and courteous and really help introduce you to Pilates the correct way. Pilates has strengthened my core and straightened my back. It has helped me in every form of life from sitting at a desk all day to helping me lift weights at the gym better and in general just carry myself better. Super friendly group of people. Great mix of classes. It's a nine intimidating environment even for beginners. I highly recommend it to everyone! If you are expecting to get into classes that you want, think again. I purchased a 4 times per month and can't get into a single class because they are full. I called several times and was promised Ben, the manager, would get back to me, he has not. Additionally, the first week this gym opened I was told they would offer suspension classes (TRX) another broken promise. I just went online to book a class and was told I have no more credits.. uhmmmm haven't used a single one! Don't waste your time! read more

Although I sometimes experience difficulty booking a class on my phone app, anytime I have asked the staff to assist me; I've been able to get into a class. So glad I signed up. Started with the free intro which was very thorough and gave a great intro to the Pilates equipment. After the free session we were given the opportunity to ask questions about membership. So far I've worked with 2 instructors who were helpful and attentive, especially to the newbies. Even though I've attended the same class 4 times (1/week), each session has been slightly different which has been great. The room/studio is always clean and orderly. Sometimes classes are full and there's a waitlist, which I hear works pretty well. read more

Classes are fun, I had some issues with canceling my membership so I don't think I will be doing any contract memberships in the future.

Caution for those that join the Fort Mill Club Pilates! The management team at this location is SKETCHY! I went to terminate my contract because it is near impossible to get into classes (they are always booked full) and they told me that I had to give a month notice and this was in my contract. I told them that no one informed me of this, to which the Store Manager said it is company policy to let clients know. I tried to escalate this to a higher level and the Store Manager kept telling me there was no one else to discuss the matter with; I would have to pay for the next month and they would cancel after that. I requested a call from the owner to discuss this matter. I never got a call from the owner, but instead received a call from a man claiming to be the North American Sales Director. He acknowledged the fact that their policy is to inform clients of the policy and that they would train on this matter. When I pushed on speaking to someone at a higher level about my concerns and to stop the charge from going through for the next month, he said there was no one higher and their system did not allow them to stop a charge from going through. As I looked into it more, I discovered that the man who claimed to be the "Director of Sales for North America" had lied about his title and was merely only a Regional Manager! The way the staff has handled makes me think customer service is not important to them at all. I will not be going back and would discourage anyone who is considering joining the Fort Mill location. The staff cannot be trusted and have not handled this situation professionally. read more
