History
Established in 2015.
Andrea Nichols, owner of Pilates Cure, became a comprehensively educated Pilates Instructor within the Fort Mill community in 2008. She continued to teach and manage a studio locally up until 2018 where she worked with and hand selected some of the most talented Pilates teachers to be a part of her team. Upon graduating from the prestigious Pilates Master Mentor Program taught by First Generation Pilates Teacher, Lolita San Miguel, Andrea decided it was time to open up her own studio. Pilates Cure is a community where the dreams, visions and passions of Joseph Pilates are kept alive and the benefits of Pilates are celebrated daily.
Meet the Business Owner: Andrea N.
Pilates was love at first sight for Andrea and before she had even completed the eight trainings in her initial student package, she had began researching Pilates teacher trainings schools and enrolled in 2008. Her passion continued to grow for Pilates and in 2014 she applied for and was accepted into the prestegious Pilates Master Mentor Program taught by First Generation Pilates Elder, Lolita San Miguel. When Andrea graduated the PMMP in 2017 as a Second Generation Pilates Teacher, she was then invited to complete the invitation only teacher training program, Lolita's Legacy. Upon completion of the Legacy training, Andrea now has the honor to teach and train other teachers within the Pilates industry. Andrea is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is currently enrolled in two of their specialization programs, Corrective Exercise Specialization and Fitness Nutrition Specialization. She should finish those programs and test out in 2019.
