They have 2 showers/bathroom areas and one bathroom to accommodate needs. It's a plus that Its 24 hours to accommodate your schedule. They have plenty of parking in a shared lot. When it comes to the fitness equipment it's not repaired or updated regularly. The TV on the stair master has been out for a year. In addition, some of the ellipticals do not take information like your weight if you desire accurate calorie counts or the levels can not go past a certain point without the machine restarting. They have limited equipment because its smaller. They have one stair master and you frequently have to wait as its a high demand machine during regular hours. There is one upward bike and one row machine, etc. It can get pretty hot. Not sure what is going on with the HVAC, but wish it was cooler on a regular. Typically its well organized and clean. There are three staff as trainers and general staff they appear to be friendly, there is one who is very passive aggressive. Thankful for Ron's help and assistance and Joseph is nice. Notes: There is a gym in Waverly that has a food bar, etc. It has some completion and the price is equivalent to the gym down the street. I have not taken any of the small group classes that they offer and cannot provide feedback on those or working one on one with a trainer. I also have not consumed any beverages or snacks from their honor system.

Also this is meant to provide constructive feedback in hopes that management/area director and leadership at Lifetime read this- finally these are constant grievances of mine, others on this feed and I have been a member for more than 3 years. Additionally, I've experienced the brand new top shelf Lifetime in Cary NC...world of difference in service, equipment (of course new) , AND true spa like feel in the men's locker room...down to lockers have 'bumpers' on them so when they are shut they are quiet. 1. NOISE! Men's spa area is so loud I have to wear airbuds to escape the constant yammering of others in the steam and sauna. 2. Tired Equipment and in consistent amenities- I joined for the quality of equipment and mainly access to steam and dry sauna- Equipment is worn out...bikes, cable machines, benches, accessories for gym equipment in general need replacement. Machines sit dormant waiting for repair often...and Steam room is constantly inconsistent and temperatures in dry sauna are below recommended temps. Did I also mention how LOUD it is in the 'Quiet Area.' 3. Towel service is 1 STAR....and unacceptable. Last night and many days/nights the shelves in the locker area are bare with NO TOWELS....I literally had to walk the locker room to find a clean towel to dry off with. 4. Family Friendly. YES! It should be...but now that school/college is on summer break the gym experience is fraught with kids being kids.. from locker room to gym floors...absolute chaos... 5. Showers- The entire shower area is a mess a lot of the time, but especially last night....walk into a shower and someone left towels inside stall....No attendants cleaning up or restocking towels...counters full of water, etc. NOT A PREMIUM EXPERIENCE! I truly enjoy investing in my health and consider Lifetime a splurge in my budget....BUT I continually leave shaking my head at the level of service...quality...and inconsistency....even the 'simple things' from a staff person, like Have a good night...hope you had a nice workout. It would be nice to have persons on the floor assisting 'newbies' with workout tips or offering assistance in using the equipment.

Life Time keeps bringing in more members and guests without increasing the number of machines. The…read moregym is now comically overcrowded unless you arrive around 5 a.m. The men's locker room has also been disgusting for the past few months: the floor is constantly soaking wet and dirty. The new guest policy is ridiculous as well. Not being able to bring the same person back for 60 days makes the guest passes practically USELESS. I simply wanted to bring the same friend occasionally so we could play tennis together. Between the overcrowding, declining cleanliness, and worsening guest policy, the membership is no longer worth the price.

I came in mid April to cancel in person and they stated once the pending charges complete it will be canceled. They tried to charge my bank again in May. I called to see if maybe they had a clerical error but they said I need to come in again. I'm no longer in the state hence the reason I cancelled everything before I left. In every interaction I've had with him, Justin has been rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. His tone and body language are consistently confrontational, and he seems more interested in asserting dominance than providing any form of respectful customer service. Rather than resolving the matter calmly or professionally, he escalated, insinuated sledging me and the situation, ultimately banning me from the facility using his now-predictable phrase, "I will ban you throw you out " Justin has never once offered an apology or even acknowledged his poor conduct. His demeanor creates an uncomfortable and hostile environment not just for me, but for anyone within earshot. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional--it's deeply disappointing. To be clear, I've never received anything resembling real customer service from this individual. His communication style consists of one-word deflections and condescending remarks. It's clear he does not value customers--only control. I've given this facility multiple chances, but the behavior I've experienced, specifically from Justin Tyler Kane, has left me with no choice but to share my experience publicly through Yelp, social media, and direct word of mouth. Also Mitch is very attentive and professional. Staff keep using face mask, and even there's no need to use one inside, I do. (Please don't forget to clean equipment after you use it) These guys are amazing! Eddie show me the whole place, including and very detail on what my black card membership has. Hydromassage and chair massages. I'm not interested in tanning if you are, they have like 3 available. Clean. Safe. Professional. Spacious. What else can you request from a fitness center? I'm impressed with how immaculately clean the whole place is. (hope will continue like that). They have convenient hours of operation all week and on 4 days of the week operate at 24hrs/day. There is always available parking out front. The staff is highly professional and always helpful. Machines are practically brand new and are always incredibly clean. Locker rooms are clean, bathrooms appear to be cleaned multiple times throughout the day. Highly recommend this location. You can't beat the price and out of all the Planet Fitness locations I visited throughout Charlotte, this one is the best! By the way, I used to go to the fitness on Johnson road. Omg! The studio is very clean and organized, with lockers for your stuff. The workout-whewwwww! Don't be fooled by Uri's baby face because he will have you on the ropes! I recommend doing the starter class first and then venturing out into the other classes. I did the full body class and it full body for sure! Uri did a great job with demos, checking the carriges, and correcting form. Most importantly, he kept the energy and encouragement up. I recommend Solidcore to anyone looking for a challenge, and looking for something different.

Solidcore is a good, challenging workout. The music is upbeat and the instructors are friendly…read more(Nicole's classes were my favorite). However, every class is basically the same exercises, which gets boring. Also, the instructors don't really help with form, so I find the instruction minimal. While it's inspired by Pilates, you can't call this Pilates (and Solidcore doesn't but the clientele make this mistake). I find it to be a useful supplementary strength workout for me, but I don't enjoy it enough to keep a membership. I've been loving the Daily Pilates up the street instead.

I was facing some extreme shoulder pain and limited mobility after years of weightlifting to the…read morepoint I was no longer able to do most shoulder/chest exercises. I reached out to Pr1me Movement despite living in Indiana because the advice I was getting from professionals in my area was not helping. The online skype consultation I got was more informative than anything I had heard from the physicians I dealt with in person. The stretches, and change in my movement patterns that were suggested altered the pain I felt within days. I couldn't believe how dramatically and quickly things changed. Chad understood my desire to not sit around and do nothing, and his advice allowed me to get back in the gym while at the same time not injuring myself further. After about a month of incorporating the stretches and various warmup/recovery movements he suggested I felt almost 100%, and the pain I had gotten use to feeling daily was almost entirely gone. Nearly 6 months later and I haven't felt this good in years, my strength has increased in the gym, and I still incorporate the stretching movements, and changes in my movement patterns and couldn't be happier. It was really refreshing to work with a PT who listened to my goals, and not only addressed the current pain, but why I had gotten to that point, and gave me advice on how to stop the root of the problem and prevent further injury or pain.
