I have seen noticeable improvement in running times, muscle definition, and strength. He has an amazing knowledge of muscle function and dynamic movement. Somehow, he can make the simplest exercises so effective. He gives appropriate ques for safety and I never have to worry if what I am doing will lead to further injury. He is kind, patient, and SUPER passionate about what he does. Prices are extremely reasonable and he is flexible with his schedule. He can easily work around injury (currently, I am in a sling from shoulder surgery and I still get a good workout) and can modify exercises quickly. The facility overall is very nice. Spacious and super clean. Everyone is very welcoming. Changing rooms and showers are available. Taylor offers other classes as well like yoga and group fitness. Mike also does a specialized mobility class too. I would HIGHLY recommend Mike and the group at Function Fit if you are looking to loose weight, get fit, or improve performance. They will take great care of you!

Elite, Consistent Coaching: Every single coach and Black Belt is exceptional. There is no such thing as a bad class here. I cant believe I have not reviewed this before. I have been going here infrequently since it opened…read moreor shortly there after. The reason for the infrequency is that it is a solid 25 min drive for me without traffic. Add in week day traffic and that turns into an hour. Otherwise, I'd be here all the time. The staff is super friendly. The bag classes are my favorite and a really tough workout. The intro classes are great as well. The first 15 mins of "warm up" is probably the toughest work out then it is on to learning basic skills. It's such a great work out and the training is great for self defense. They have another location in Gastonia if you live closer to there. I highly recommend them.

I had the best experience my very first time. I was helped by the sweetest gal named Hidaya, she really did a great job giving me a tour and explaining everything to me! The provide a workout you can do there as well. Which really helps. I'm so happy I joined this gym. I love how private my workouts are, I feel like it allows me to go all out and not be self conscious about who else is there watching me. You can use the app to book your workout sessions in advance and that is so great because it holds you accountable. It gives you somewhere to be at a certain time and that's what I need in my life. I live by my calendar. The gym is also 24/7 access which is amazing. You get your own unique code to use at the door. The other day I went to workout because I was stressed after a work meeting and it immediately eased my mood. The sauna expereince is just different and really perfect for me. I recommend checking out this gym if you're in need of something different and helpful. Just be prepared to SWEAT!

So , I posted a positive review a some months ago on a Google review to be exact 5 months ago and…read more I am going to have to retract my review of my first two weeks experience. I had a amazing time using the sauna studio, but towards my second week my daughter signed up with me .. she was super excited to join. Our first session together gave her the push she needed to start a healthy work out plan. Well, after her first few days over the past memorial day weekend I was sent a text that I brought an unauthorized guest and that my account will have $20 extra fee for the following month and to note that no one pregnant should be in the sauna and also I would need to have the proper mat to be in the sauna. Well I was a bit taken by the accusations that I had a pregnant unauthorized guest with me. It was my daughter who came with me that was just signed up a week ago. I went to speak with the staff @ the highland Creek/ prosperity area Hotworx and was said that it didn't look like the same person who I signed up. Not only did she looks different but she is now being viewed as pregnant woman. I told the staff that's the reason she is signed up because to work out because of her wanting to loose weight and her problem area was her abdomen area. Upon talking to the staff one person in particular asked how can we fix this? She went on to say She didn't look like the same person..mind you she was the front desk staff who actually help my daughter get signed up.My daughter was very hurt by them thinking she looked pregnant and was / is not pregnant. Never once was I asked who is the person with me at the sauna or a phone call to inquire. When I went in they said on the video that is always recording she looks different. I immediately asked to cancel my membership. The person who texted me was Taylor at hotworx Highland Creek. She did not allow me to verify or give and information before assuming what was seen on a video.

The space is nicely done and the classes are smaller (I think around 12 people) which I really like because the instructor is able to help you make adjustments if your technique is off. You do need to sign up online for classes since the class size is smaller and they need to guarantee a place for you. They offer a new client 3 pack special for a discounted rate. Our instructor was Arthur and he was great! Very encouraging and he made you want to keep going even though your body was telling you to stop ha. The classes are 40 minutes and done on the Megaformer - it's a machine that helps keep your core engaged at all times and takes pressure off of joints. If you've ever done core exercises with gliders at the gym it's like that on steroids. Seriously one of the most difficult classes that I have ever taken. I do weights 5-6 days per week but I don't do a lot of fatiguing my muscles. The exercises are all slowed down so you really get that muscle fatigue. Great workout, great instructor, great location!

Working out has been a part of my weekly routine since I was in my 20s, and I've done a few types of routines, including high intensity kickboxing, interval training, and yoga. When I injured my shoulder after two years of kickboxing, I knew I had to make a change. Exercise Coach's format is surprisingly effective. You really don't have to sweat buckets to achieve your goals! Strength training has helped me tremendously, and I've seen a dramatic change in my body as a result.
