I recently took a trial class and really enjoyed the experience. The two ladies at the front desk were nice and professional. The instructor was excellent. If you are looking to try Pilates and make it part of your workout regime, this is the place for you. I will definitely go back. read more

I've never experienced such blatant favoritism and pretentiousness at a workout studio. On one occasion, I arrived literally one minute outside their 7 min "courtesy window." Fine, rules are rules. I accepted that and left without making a scene... What was unacceptable was watching another customer walk in right after I left and get admitted to the same class with no issue whatsoever. Apparently the rules only apply if you're not a regular / part of the inner circle. It gets worse... Another time, I showed up on time as a walk-in to take a spot if there were no-shows. There was one available spot after the 7 min window timed out, but instead of honoring their own policy, I was told they had to call the missing client and wait to confirm she was actually not coming. In the end, she never responded nor showed up. The irony was when it happened to me, I was denied entry instantly, but someone else was given extra time, phone calls, and patience -- this is not how you 'retain' new customers. If you're looking for a welcoming studio that treats everyone with equal respect, this is not the studio for you. I will also say they 100% discriminate against Class Pass users, if that is how you're finding out about this place. This was the last straw for me -- I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who isn't already part of their preferred clique. Update: Responding to the business's comment in replies, they completely failed to address the customer they let in right after turning me away because they know they violated their own policy. They are also being blatantly misleading about my scheduling status... either way, this is now getting reported to Class Pass. read more

I have been a consistent attendee since joining in October 2021, and today I clocked in my 499th class. Coming to this studio is my happy place--the vibe is friendly and non-threatening, starting at the front desk and continuing with the fellow members and instructors. Always averse to gym stuff, I am delighted to see how my body has gone through such positive changes with Pilates (I'm almost 73). Instructors Faye, Claudia, Grace, and Yoon have been especially helpful and encouraging during my Pilates fitness journey; they are skilled, compassionate, and always leaven the classes with inspiration and humor. So glad I became a member of this club! read more

I'd like to express my disappointment with how Club Pilates handles membership cancellations. While I understand that policies are in place, it's also the company's responsibility to clearly communicate and educate members upfront -- not rely on fine print after the fact. In my case: 1.The required 3-month commitment was never clearly explained when I signed up. Mine was signed up by the phone. 2. After 3 months and, even though my membership had been on hold for months, I was still charged for an additional full month JUST TO CANCEL. 3. When I raised these concerns, the response was simply, "That's what you signed up for." That dismissive attitude was extremely frustrating. Yes, I may have signed an agreement, but customer service is about more than paperwork -- it's about creating trust, clarity, and long-term relationships. Real service means treating people like partners, not just transactions. In business, it's said that one satisfied customer can bring in 70 more -- and the opposite is just as true. I no longer feel like a valued member, and this experience has completely changed my perception of your brand. There are a lot more Pilates centers opening in town -- centers that see their members as part of a wellness journey, not just a revenue source. Club Pilates is NOT your short & long-term athletic partner at all. read more

Friendly place, fair prices for the classes. If you can't make it, You must cancel within 12hours. Fair enough for me. Very clean studio. Rita is fantastic, greats you by name and with a smile! She really makes my day! read more

I have been a member at this club for 2+ years. Recently I had a health issue and all of the instructors and Rita at the front desk have been outstanding and understanding. Joined Club Pilates Edgewater, NJ In June 2024 - I love the workout and the classes are great - it's a great full body workout and it's mentally stimulating too! I feel at peace when exercising. I've only taken classes with Claudia, Milly-May and Grace (all of them excellent instructors) but with my new membership I'll be taking more classes per month and looking forward to meeting other instructors. Have never had a bad class, the club is clean and Rita at the front desk is wonderful -warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Pilates and CP Edgewater. read more

Great instructors in a clean environment. The instructors are very articulate and clearly explain the form of the exercises and which muscles to focus upon. Additionally, although it is a class, they offer modifications to exercises to individuals with any injuries, physical limitations, or conditions (e.g. pregnancy). Lucky for me they keep it very cool in the studio, to combat the Summer heat & humidity. read more

0 STARS . This studio will not stop harassing me. I paid for a class that I canceled for already and every week twice a week I'm being harassed by their employees. I talk to them on the phone and they say it will never happen again and then days later I get a text saying I owe money again. This place is a complete nightmare and the staff is horrendous. I've dealt with over four girls already (Nathaly,Andrea,Elle, Tara) texting me asking me for money when it's paid for and taken care of. This place makes me sick to my stomach.Dont make the same mistake I did and give them your credit card info. They will not leave you alone !!!!! read more

I take classes here once a week with Sara and it's been the best addition to my routine. I love how clean and calming this studio is and Sara is the sweetest instructor. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. The staff is incredibly rude. My friend and I had the worst experience at club Pilates. We were signed up for class together on the waitlist, and when she got off the waitlist, she cancelled immediately because we figured I wouldn't get off the waitlist in time. Well, Club Pilates still charged her. When she disputed it, they said that was the policy-- that even waitlisters get charged. (So like even if you were to get off the waitlist an hour before the class and cancel immediately.) My hope in writing this is that they change that policy. It's absurd. Also she deserves the $70 refund! And to stop being HARASSED by them everyday via text. I will NEVER go to this location. It's a money grab. They don't care about your health or wellness. They care about overcharging for subpar, superficial, hedge-funded, basic Pilates. read more

Can't say enough wonderful things. Every instructor has a planned class ready to go and each one is different and incorporates activities that are within our range and help to increase our flexibility and general well being. It would be hard to name one instructor because they are all great and I have taken classes with at least 6 different people. The studio itself is very clean and well maintained and the people at the front desk are thorough in their part keeping up everything to make this a overall positive experience. read more

Coming up on my 2nd year of membership and still loving Club Pilates in Edgewater, NJ. Not only good for the body, mind and soul, but fun! Getting stronger, toned and flexible doesn't have to be a grind! Every class is different, which keeps it interesting. The instructors each have their own style, so there's always new tips to improve your practice. I mostly attend Kelly's classes, but also enjoy Faye, Valentina, Caroline and Grace. So glad to be part of this professional and welcoming community. Onto 2025! read more

I joined in August and have been hooked ever since! The studio is so clean, the staff is very friendly and the instructors are phenomenal! I've taken classes with Valentina, Claudia, Sun, Faye, Kelly and Ann W, they are all great! Even the majority of the subs I've had have been excellent (Millie-May, Nadia, Jenn W and Vivian). All instructors have been so accommodating when I tell them of all my back problems, I feel comfortable and know they are sure to check in on us all to make sure we aren't hurting ourselves. This is the best investment I've made! read more

I used to love this studio, but recently I've noticed a downward trend. The friendly reception staff has been replaced by a snarky reception staff, instructors making disparaging comments about mine and other's bodies (a first for me, even after years of ballet), inexperienced instructors with minimal training, constant construction noise, damaged equipment, petty financial policies, focus on teacher training as a revenue model, no class availability...I could go on for ages but I won't. What a disappointment! If you had asked me a year ago I would've given 5 stars! read more

I just celebrated my 500th class at Club Pilates so I am a some-what good judge on what I want and what to expect. The Edgewater studio is very large, airy, bright, clean, and new equipment. The front desk girls are super friendly and very knowledgeable if you have questions about anything. They greet you by your first name (which is pretty good since they only opened 2 months ago). This is what I expect a studio to be when I pay monthly for these workouts. An added plus is that this studio is located steps from Whole Foods so you have a massive parking lot that eliminates you searching for a parking spot. Next is my critique of the instructors. All are "cream of the crop" in their profession with extensive experience. Some are easy going and others are tough and that depends entirely on what YOU want. You choose the level of workout you want to accomplish that day and you won't be disappointed. That's the beauty of Club Pilates you decide what intensity you want and not forced to take just boring, repetitious classes that other places offer. All the instructors change their agenda every class, every day so you can't get bored or anticipate anything. This is another criteria I expect when joining a club. The workout is next. Whatever level you decide to attend you will have one full-body workout. Core, arms, shoulders, back, legs, butt, obliques, and even your ankles. Every single muscle is used and if you are doing it properly that muscle will burn within 15 seconds. Some of the equipment offered at Club Pilates is a reformer, ball, "magic circle" (rubber ring), Pilates chair, TRX, bar springs with straps and handles. etc. A rubber roller you can use for your cool-down. The Club is taking extreme precautions due to Covid. Your temperature is taken within your first step inside. Hand sanitizer all over the place. Equipment is cleaned after each class including the instructors using a UV wand on everything. You won't gt sick here! They offer a free introduction class you should take advantage of so you get an idea of what Pilates is and what it can do for you. You'll love it! Lynn Harland read more

I have been a member of Club Pilates since 2018 and recent moved to Edgewater center. All Classes are great. Though there are some glitches on the app sometimes, the staffs fix it quickly and kindly. I am very satisfied with the service and the quality of the class. Thank you always!!! read more

I love going to this Club Pilates! The front desk are very helpful and kind. The best instructor at the moment is Valentina, she will give you a kick-ass workout but is super sweet and caring. I would recommend her 10/10! Natalie, Oryisa, and Sara were also amazing but they have since left which is a huge shame. My cons: They've hired some new instructors who need to take a few more teaching classes before they're able to lead a class successfully. The club also keeps growing exponentially with new members but there aren't enough classes so you need to book weeks in advance for a chance. The workout with a right instructor is worth the hassle but the experience could be 10x better if they could try harder to retain their excellent instructors, take time to make sure their new instructors are ready before putting them in front of a class, and expanding the location or adding more class times. read more

It is a pleasure working at this studio, the owner and the staffs are all wonderful. I love having many different instructors for different levels.
