The studio is bright and clean with lots of parking available. Each station has a reformer, chair and trx as well as other accessories. There are classes throughout the day from 6am - 7pm. I like to try classes with different instructors. Each has their own followers and a different vibe. I started with just one class a week and now I find myself in four or five classes a week. The saying "You will feel better in 10 sessions, look better in 20 sessions and have a completely new body in 30 sessions" is completely true. Random people and even loved ones have noticed the changes. While not easy, a Pilates practice is achievable by everyone -- I have seen all ages and all sizes -- and the resulting transformation-- to mind, body and even spirit -- is something I have strived to achieve for decades I am taking off one-quarter star because the reformers are a bit closer together than the other studio I also frequent. read more

This place is a laugh. They advertise (on social media) that you can get a free "complimentary. class", which sounded great, so I responded to it. The forms they ask you to fill out online are so glitchy and horrible; I filled out the same form three times because it kept refreshing. I get to the the studio for my "complimentary class"; I first walk in and the studio reeks of sweat. (Note that I have been attending studio fitness classes for years; I have never walked into a studio and thought it reeked of gnarly sweat before. Ever.) I get there, I buy grippy socks for class, and at this point I'm overlooking the smell and pumped to to give the class a chance. I then find out from the gal at the front desk that what I'm about to go into isn't a full 50 min class, but it's a 30 minute introduction to pilates where the instructor will be explaining how to use the machine. Note that manager Ali texted me and followed up with me after I originally responded to the ad, and used the term "complimentary class." So this is NOT a "complimentary class" for first timers... they sucker you into the studio by lying to you and calling it a "complimentary class" but you get 30 minutes of someone telling you how to use the machines. I asked if it was a true workout, would I sweat etc.. the front desk gal said "maybe". I took off my grippy socks and left. I went home and worked out in my home gym for an actual workout. I also need to note that I got to the studio 15 min early before the fake class was supposed to start. I was watching a class inside that was ongoing. The instructor was sitting while telling everyone what to do, and on her phone during the class. That's the epitome of uninspiring. In conclusion: This place smells horrible, has shoddy business organization, and they lie to people to get them into the studio. I look forward to seeing what business takes their place soon! read more

This is the worst place I have ever been to. Do not sign up to this location or any others if I was you. The classes are pathetic and you wont get a good workout ever. They also trick you into signing up for 3 months and you can't get out of it unless you pay $100 more. You never see this agreement until after you give them your credit card. They are scamming you out of a lot of money. DO NOT GO TO CLUB PILATES read more

I'm so happy the studio is open again. Monica is so welcoming and always makes sure I feel right at home. During COVID, I've connected to travel to this studio even though there are close ones by me. Sterling is fantastic for her innovation and mixing up the norm. Mary Ellen helps perfect the basics and form. I hope one day I'll be able to take classes in person from Tabitha again too. read more

Club Pilates Deerfield - A mantra of Joseph Pilates and my Copywrite image - Pilates Near Me - Deerfield, Illinois

Pilates: Yeah, exercise. We all know that we should do it. But how many of us actually like to do it? I have had various on and off exercise routines for all of my adult life. I liked some, but it was always just an exercise. BUT: Reformer Pilates is so much different! It is more fun, never repetitious, never boring, and I do feel the effect on my body right away. I have stuck with this for 9 months and I am still excited to go every time (even at 6am). The place and amenities: When it comes to this specific location, it is very clean and the staff is welcoming. There is one unisex bathroom with some welcoming products such as dry shampoo and hairspray. The front desk has some spare hair bands, if you need one and there are always tissues on display, perfect for this cold weather. They have a store with cute exercise outfits and good selection of special Pilates socks. Staff: Friendly and welcoming. Parking: There is free parking right up-front, but it is limited. However, there is a garage below the building with free 3-hour parking. Highly recommend taking advantage of it. I wish for: The only thing that would make this place even better would be addition of lockers/area to change clothes and perhaps showers. read more

I recently moved to the area and I have tried just about every workout out there in the past. I gave Club Pilates a try and have really enjoyed the variety of classes offered. I try to go five times per week and only a few times have I been waitlisted. (Try to book in advance, especially for weekends.) I especially like Maggie's classes. She is very friendly and positive, assists you with form, and makes a conscious effort to get to know clients' names, etc. For the cost ($200/month for unlimited classes), the value really cannot be beat. read more

Just to let anyone know that if anybody is thinking about joining the Deerfield Pilates location, stop-------do not. I had fractured bones, and a letter from my doctor saying I cannot do the classes. I had 1 free trial and I was going to be with a personal trainer. They made me pay $139.00 plus fees. Then they added a fee for $60.00 because I did not pay. I tried to communicate with the manager, but no one resolved my issue. This has been going on since May. I had no choice, but to pay the money. read more

It saddens me to write this review because it's the antithesis of what the practice of pilates is all about (insert deep cleansing breath)... I have belonged to many studios and am the queen of trying different experiences but in my 20 years of "club life," As a member, it's been impossible and incredibly $$$$ to cancel, especially when you are buying their unlimited package and instructors are inconsistent. Case in point, when I put my membership on hold, I still had to pay AND when I decided to finally cancel my membership before my new monthly renewal and was told that I would NOT be charged for the next 30 days, I still was. As far as my pilates experience, I was recovering from back surgery and there was only one instructor I trusted because the others were a bit more robotic and underwhelming when it came to offering alternatives to accommodate needs. Bottomline: Club Pilates is more about stretching what they take from your bank account versus helping you stretch as a person. If you aren't sure of how often you will use it, it's not worth it. read more

This place rocks! I've been coming now for 3 months and feel stronger each time I leave. The instructors are very friendly and helpful to each individual. So happy I've found a place nearby that I enjoy read more

From the moment I walked in the door a few months ago, the people at Club Pilates have been encouraging, helpful and fun. The location is convenient, the facility is spotless and Tina, Captain Ed and Gopi are amazing. Cannot recommend highly enough! read more

I have never been so disappointed in a business in my life. I froze my account at the beginning of the Covid pandemic and was not comfortable returning even when they re-opened. They told me that I would have to pay my monthly fee plus a cancellation fee in order to cancel my membership. I did not think it was appropriate for them to ask me for money given the fact that I just wasn't comfortable coming back. Needless to say they continued to charge me every single month, which I was totally unaware of and then sent it to collections. Just the other day I got a call that I owe them over $1000. In order to just make them go away I paid them $225 for absolutely no reason. I am horrified by the way they treated me. read more

Pros: Clean, new place. Sample class was awesome (next day you will feel pain in all the right places), instructor was very nice. Cons: Pricy, not a lot of class choices (times), no shower :/ read more

This studio is fantastic! Great instructors and classes available for all skill levels. I never really enjoyed previous Pilates reformer classes until I came here. Today I took my 400th class at Club Pilates in Highland Park! If you haven't tried a class, you should. With wonderful teachers like Nancy and Mary Ellen and the welcoming staff like Monica, this club is special. Classes are based on your ability level and physical needs. You will get stronger and, I swear I'm taller! Classes are fun and clients are a nice group. As for covid safety.... it was incredibly clean before and now even more so. Everyone always wears a mask, and classes are small. We are comfortably social distanced. I look forward to classes. Im sure will too. read more

Just had two Great Workouts With Sterling and Reed . Classes are fun , fast paced and exhilarating. Also, want to give a proper shout out to Nancy who regularly kicks our butts in a good way . Facility is clean and no matter what your skill level it's a game changing workout. Being in my Mid 50's I was able to strengthen my core to my 30 year old days . Highly recommend this training and facility. read more

I don't like weight training and aggressive workouts. I loved to do yoga but it only gave me the flexibility and very slow on strength building. I found Pilates is effective both to my body, quickly toning and strengthening muscles while I still gain the flexibility and beathing exercises as in yoga. It is a relaxing body and mind ( oh yeah, I also practice mindfulness and meditation while on the reformer too and it works). It has been only 3 months and I see a huge difference. The Club staffing is very nice and the instructors are knowledgeable. Each instructor has their own expertise so you won't be bored even you go everyday. They care about having us getting the right forms and maximum benefits of each pose. I was concerned about class availability but never have an issue. I didn't like that you get fined for registering but not showing up or having a late cancel. However, I found out the policy is actually helping me be disciplined with my commitment to classes ( no last-minute excuse n changing the mind) and ensuring availability for those who can and will actually come to classes. I dropped in all the time and the staffs were welcoming me with this practice too as they know we do struggle with work schedules. Ladies, this will be one of the best things you ever do for yourself. Don't think about the cost. Those hours spent in the club will save you hundreds of $$ for wandering around shops ( been there and know it) The only regret I have was that why didn't I join it sooner. I am moving back to Los Angeles and found this is the hardest thing for me to parting HP. read more

This place really rocks. I'm in my 3rd month and definitely feel a difference in strength, tone and balance. The classes and instructors are terrific and make you feel welcome as a stone-cold beginner or with advanced Pilates skills. The "reformer" is aptly named! A variety of classes to choose from too. The place is bright and clean and welcoming and convenient! Take an intro class. Tell them I sent you! -- Stephanie K read more

I've been doing pilates at several studios in Chicago for over a year but recently moved to Highland Park. I was so excited when I heard Club Pilates was opening and am really happy with their class schedule. Most studios around the area have really limited class times which makes it hard to get to for me (I commute into the city for work). Club Pilates has morning and evening classes that make it easy for me to catch classes during the week and on the weekends! I took a free intro class and had such a great experience I bought one of their monthly packages. The cardio sculpt class is amazing and like nothing I've experienced before! Instructors are all really helpful and want you to get stronger and better in your practice. I definitely recommend Maggie's classes - they are my favorite! read more

Club Pilates has changed my life. After years of looking for a reasonably priced well executed Pilates studio, I finally found my spot. I purchased the reasonably priced unlimited package and try to go as often as my body will let me. The studi is gorgeous and absolutely state of the art. It is just fun walking in, the classes are run by friendly helpful instructors who really seem to enjoy what they are doing. The best part is the other people in each class; we are all having fun and most days people linger to talk. The owner, Janet is friendly and charming and treats her clients like friends. I could say more, but check it out. read more

Beware of Club Pilates in Highland Park. In March, they charged me for 4 classes to be used over the next month. They closed a few days later due to COVID-19. No problem, closing was the right thing to do. In April, I sent them a note saying I wanted to indefinitely suspend my "membership." Our family has two "at risk" people so even if the state said they could open, I would not be willing to take the risk. I got no response. Now they are ready to open again so I contacted them again and said I wanted my money back for the 4 classes I couldn't use and wanted to put a hold on my membership indefinitely as I had said in my April note. They wanted to charge me a fee every month to do this. I said "no". Then they wanted me to pay a fee to cancel my "membership" even though I gave them the required notice in April. I said "no." Now they are sending a $500+ "cancellation fee" to a collection agency. In my opinion, these practices are unethical given the times we are all living in. There are other places to workout with businesses that understand that the customer comes first. read more

I started coming to Club Pilates six months ago. I signed up for the unlimited plan, a bit pricey but a good value if you use it regularly, and I do! The instructors are friendly, professional and knowledgable at teaching proper body alignment, lengthening muscle and creating increased flexibility. I can honestly say I feel sooo much stronger and more flexible than I did months ago. Give the free class a try, I was hooked the moment I did! read more

I absolutely LOVE Club Pilates in Highland Park! They offer a wide range of classes throughout the day with many awesome, well-trained instructors. Club Pilates makes pilates highly accessible with very reasonable rates and instructors who are able to make modifications for people of all ages, abilities, experience and fitness levels and health situations. Pilates truly is for everyone at Club Pilates! read more

I love this place. I started coming when they opened a few months ago, it's the perfect work out for me. Everyone is always friendly and I already have my favorite instructor Maggie. I tend to be on the short side, I'm not even 5 foot tall. Maggie went out of her way to figure out modifications so I'm still getting the benefit of the full exercise and enjoying the class! I recommend taking the intro class if you've never done Pilates. I'm so grateful that it's so close to home. read more

I recently went to an intro class with Tabitha and I highly recommend Club Pilates Highland Park. The space is absolutely gorgeous, the staff is welcoming and the location is convenient. This studio is beautiful! The equipment is top quality, the instructor was fantastic and it was a great experience. I can't wait to go back. read more

This studio was a bad experience for me. The contract (4-pack) is very restrictive and the Highland Park studio is not nice to deal with. If you are trying to sell memberships, the introductory package and how you treat people is important. Just wanted to see if I would like Pilates in addition to my other workout. I have been unable to use my classes in the 30-day period due to unforeseen circumstances and there is zero flexibility with the 4-pack. You basically pay and lose the classes. They don't return phone calls and they have been rude to deal with. I was told they would carry over my classes by an associate given the situation, but now they say no and no one followed-up to tell me. I had to miss a free class and called to give advance notice. They tried to up charge me $25.00 because there are only so many spaces. The free class had only 5 people booked with 7 spaces available. I was able to get out of being charged for a "free event" but not without some convincing. While the classes and instructors are awesome, the restrictive nature of the contracts and rude treatment is not worth it for me. I ended up speaking with the owner on August 22nd, weeks after my initial call. The result was the same for me. She had no interest in correcting what her employee had stated about the classes and gave a very insincere apology. All she had to do was offer even 1 class back to me that I already paid for as a gesture. I'm sure this place is a great experience for a lot of people but I would never go back. read more
