Couldn't answer the phone and when they did I was on hold for almost 25 min

Extremely Disappointing Front Desk Experience I've been a patient at Clovis Pediatric Group for a while, but my experience today with ALEXIS at the front desk has made me want to pull my daughter out of this practice. I called just a few minutes after they opened and was placed on hold for nearly 25 minutes. While waiting, I decided it might be faster to go in person to request my daughter's immunization records. Just as I was heading out the door, someone finally picked up. I asked if it was normal to be on hold that long, and Alexis replied that they were busy with the "morning rush." I explained my request and told her I'd be coming in shortly. She said that was fine. When I arrived, there were only a few families in the waiting room (so much for the "rush.") I gave Alexis my daughter's name and birthdate, and she asked for a callback number so they can let me know when my records would be ready.(It would've been nice of her to mention it would take some time over the phone but no she didn't) I told her I needed the records immediately, which is why I came in person. Her response was blunt and rude: "We're busy. We can't do it right now." I asked to speak to a manager or someone higher up, and was told no one was available. So I give her my number and she writes it on a sticky note. I asked if she could write on the sticky note that this was urgent and part of a complaint. She refused multiple times to write that down, insisting she'd "let them know." I asked her to communicate it to "them" in front of me, and she refused again. Finally, she wrote "CB" (for callback), and only after more pushing did she add "ASAP" and still refused to write down that I had a complaint. When I got frustrated, other staff overheard and tried to help. Alexis had a medical assistant speak with me, even after I made it clear I wanted a manager. But that assistant was kind, respectful, and incredibly helpful. She had my daughter's immunization record ready in under 10 minutes. I told Alexis "so someone CAN help me" and she said "Yeah because we want you out of here" It's a shame that one person can make such a simple task so unpleasant. Alexis was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. As the face of the office, her attitude is unacceptable, especially in a pediatric setting where empathy and efficiency matter. I hope this issue is addressed, because no parent should have to deal with someone like that when dealing with their child's health and medical records.

I have been taking my 10 daughter to Clovis pediatric since she was born! Now I have second coming here as well, he is four months. The multiple locations that are available to come to are very convenient. I love all of the different theme rooms, very welcoming for children.

We just had our first baby and heard great things about Clovis pediatric group. I was able to get an appointment within the same week I was discharged. My appointment was at 3:00pm and we came about 30 mins early and was taken to be seen within 15 mins. The staff were friendly and we were greeted right away. I like how we as parents were able to handle our babies when they are being weighted and measured. They are very informative and knowledgeable

Great care provider's.

I took my grandson in for his physical at the Kings Canyon office. The nurse practitioner was very professional and very attentive to my questions. She explained all her medical statements to me and assured my grandson that he was healthy. My grandson's experience was very positive. Thank you

Kids love coming here. Usually never a long wait. We come to the ashlan office and get seen right away most of the time. Kids love the themed rooms

We love this office even thought there is always a super long wait! Brittany, one of the nurses, is always so kind and accommodating. She handles any of my kid's issues or health concerns with so much knowledge and compassion! She is the main reason why we don't mind the wait and why we stay at this practice. It's super convenient that it's close by and all the rooms are so decorative and they always have a fun movie to watch to keep the kids entertained.

Don't let these 5 starts fool you. They are giving away gift cards for reviews. I've continued coming here to save myself the work of finding a different doctors office. The thing is I don't have an issue with Dr. Saddique, he has been awesome. My issue is with the front desk staff, always a hassle to call and when you do go in, they are not warm and inviting. They could be replaced by robots, which might happens sooner than you think.

Siddique even came to see me in the hospital when I thought I would be going into preterm labor.

There's also a bathroom that's available for patients to use in the waiting room as well. My daughter woke up with a fever this morning so I called the office around 10am and they were quick to schedule an appointment for her the same day to be seen. When we arrived checking in was easy. We were greeted by Yadira at the front desk who had the sweetest smile, even my 2 year old son who is pretty shy warmed up to her quickly. Our wait time in the waiting room was probably less than 2 minutes. When you enter the door to go to your room, you're welcomed by this beautiful carousel horse. We were taken into our designated room which the doors were color coded. I love that idea especially for kids to learn and know their colors. The medical assistant Normie was very kind and caring. She was empathetic when she saw how sick my daughter was feeling. She had done a nasal swab to test for flu and Covid and was very gentle with her. Dr. Garcia was very kind and thorough with his exam. He explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions in a manner that I can easily understand. He spent a good amount of time with us which made our visit feel so much better. Most doctors make you feel rushed but he didn't make us feel that way at all. I highly recommend Dr. Garcia to anyone looking for a pediatrician. He's a great doctor that's knowledgeable and his office staff is amazing.

This will be long, but I think when you're putting the life of your child into someone's hands then…read moreit's better to be knowledgable and detailed then to be in the dark and vague. I chose this pediatrician while I was pregnant with my son who is now a year old. I wanted to wait before I wrote a review. His doctor is Dr. Jean Russel, she is amazing and I chose her during my pregnancy because of her knowledge and experience under her belt. I wanted someone with experience so I wouldn't have to worry about anything if the occasion arises. I.E, major surgery. I am more than pleased with her, however, for the year that my son has been going, he has only seen her twice. Now, my son has been seen by nurse practitioners (NP). My only complaint about the NP is the one I had a bad experience, I'm a parent I not only have high standards and expectations but she was fairly young, judgemental with tone and glances and my husband and I. Comparing the information she gave me to what another np that I absolutely admire Natasha and Dr. Russel was off-putting. She also nitpicked at every little thing, he is a child and children are messy, what can we do? My other complaint that has been not resolved but nothing major anymore was the looks and stares we received as a family for the first few visits. We are a young interracial couple, this is our first born so we have medical. The stares were as if we shouldn't be there and the tone of voice used toward us as if we were children. When I say we are young we are in our 20's. It wasn't just the front staff that gave us this may be unintentional feeling but the medical assistants as well. I believe all it took was a positive attitude, politeness, and patience for them to open up. Now everyone is very sweet and responds well to my family and me. Overall, I think this is probably the best pediatricians office I have heard of and experienced. Other mothers have complained about their pediatricians and I am grateful. They are also very prompt on calling back and answering phone calls. I love that there are two waiting rooms, one for ill children and another for well children. The on-call nurse will always call you back and if she's not there a NP or DR will give you a call instead and they are very helpful. They are also open on Saturdays for ill children if it's urgent. They will always try their very best to get you the soonest appointment as possible. They care about children and that's what I appreciate.
