My daughter woke up with a fever this morning so I called the office around 10am and they were quick to schedule an appointment for her the same day to be seen. When we arrived checking in was easy. We were greeted by Yadira at the front desk who had the sweetest smile, even my 2 year old son who is pretty shy warmed up to her quickly. Our wait time in the waiting room was probably less than 2 minutes. When you enter the door to go to your room, you're welcomed by this beautiful carousel horse. We were taken into our designated room which the doors were color coded. I love that idea especially for kids to learn and know their colors. The medical assistant Normie was very kind and caring. She was empathetic when she saw how sick my daughter was feeling. She had done a nasal swab to test for flu and Covid and was very gentle with her. Dr. Garcia was very kind and thorough with his exam. He explained everything clearly and answered all of my questions in a manner that I can easily understand. He spent a good amount of time with us which made our visit feel so much better. Most doctors make you feel rushed but he didn't make us feel that way at all. I highly recommend Dr. Garcia to anyone looking for a pediatrician. He's a great doctor that's knowledgeable and his office staff is amazing.

As a new patient I already greatly appreciate Dr Shahinfar, she took the time to actually listen to my concerns about my son and ordered proper testing.. As a parent you know when something is wrong with your child and it's frustrating and scary when no one will listen. This doctor will listen to you! When we went out to tell her we will not be vaccinating today she told me they don't take anti vaccinators. I literally just wanted to delay them & she degraded me. I switched immediately.

It came to the point that as we were leaving a family in front of us were getting suckers and when my daughter politely asked if she could have one, the doctor replied "I'm not sure that's a good idea, it looks like you have way too much sugar already". Red flag #2 was when my daughter was prescribed a new medication and when I called for a refill I was told this practice charges $10 to refill a prescription. On top of the actual cost at the pharmacy. That's an additional $120 a month. I cannot wrap my brain around why they would do this. I decided to go elsewhere.

He always leaves appointments during the weekdays so you can bring your sick kid in and avoid urgent care. His website is great and you can look at your child's records anytime. He is gentle with our boys and very nice to us as well!!
