The staff is very nice here, they went smoothly with the process coming into the office. During my physical, the nurse was very nice to me and we did hearing, eye exam and blood pressure. This place used to be the best that I didn't mind Driving clear across town because the wait times were short and appointments were quick and my twins were seen at the same time. Now they cannot see my twins on the same day because of scheduling. Not only that but they will switch your appointment on you without asking you. I had an 11am appointment to come in and find out it was 3:30. Was I notified? Nope. Then an office manager attempted to fix the issue but only spoke in circles. Why can they not see my girls on the same visit? Who knows! But I will now never come here again. The office is gross, staff is not knowledgeable- just terrible! read more

This has been one of the only Offices my son has came too since Dr Sanchez has retired. I got the most compassion on the issues I've had. Brenda in the front has been such a great help getting things straightened out an has been a blessing getting things corrected an handled in a timely manner. I have been bringing both my children to Sky Pediatric for a few years now. I use to love the old staff and doctor Mary Howard-Gonzalez. Ever since this new group of doctors and staff have taken over I am highly disappointed in the service. I use to be able to get my children appointments without any issues, staff was on top of referrals and medications, and I was actually able to get a hold of someone! The last 2 weeks I've been calling to make an appointment and no one has answered the phone! I even e-mailed them about their phone lines being down and no one responded to my email either. I don't know if they are understaffed, too many patients to handle, or both. It's so sad because this was such a great place. This place effing sucks! I had an appointment at 930am and it's 11am I'm still waiting to be called in. Takes forever and the ladies up front just say "we're super behind". We'll no sh*t. Wasting people time here. I had a SCHEDULES appointment for a 7th grade physical. Wasted my time. Complete crap operation. They need competent people and doctors who have a sense of urgency to get people in and out. This place is a nightmare so unorganized they can't seem to get scheduling right the last 3 appointments they given have been wrong times when I show up.. I brought my new baby in because he was sick and waited almost 2 hours to be seen not to mention they make you wait in your car.. I tried calling to see how much longer because having to carry diaper bag and car seat is a lil heavy and to my surprise they don't answer after waiting 15 min on the phone they send me to voice mail!!! This is by far the worst , pediatrics. You can never get a hold of them , I called 7 times and got no answer, I had to come in just to talk to them. All i needed is a school form that takes about 5 minutes or less and they told me it takes 3-5 business days . FOR A SIGNATURE. read more

I use to love this place but I don't know what changed but they are really terrible now! I am looking for a new doctor. I have taken my daughter in twice now for a COVID Test and they lost the test both times. My daughter could not go to school for 15 days because of this. She does not have COVID but since she had a cough and a fever for 1 day the school would not let her back in school without a negative test. This is so ridiculous! Having to put her thru two test for nothing! How do you loose the test and then have no answers!!!! Not once but twice!!! I am so disappointed! My children have been going to Sky Park Pediatrics for 3 years. The facility is clean and organized. The staff try their best to accommodate a timeslot for your appointments. They are also friendly and patient. This is the first complaint I've ever had that needs to be addressed so other parents are aware and don't experience the same situation my child and I had to experience. My child had an appointment two days ago because their right big toe was causing them pain. The toe around the nail was swollen, the toenail had a yellow discoloration and the nail had grown to be very thick. We were seen by Nurse Practitioner Dapphney Souverain. She joined Sky Park Pediatrics in 2019 and this was our first time being seen by her. I explained the reason for our visit. She touched the swollen area and the toenail. She told me it was an ingrown toenail and to soak their foot in water with Epson salt several times a day. I expressed my concern for the discoloration and the thickness of the nail. She said there was no infection, the toenail is just ingrown and swollen. At this point she didn't look or touch my child's toe again or compare it to the other nails. She explained to me that cutting toenails straight across is the proper way to cut them. I mentioned the thickness of the toenail and she asked if I had new nail clippers and if not to buy a new one. I told her the nail clippers I used cut the other toenails fine, it was the thick toenail that wouldn't cut. She told me I needed to have the bigger size nail clippers. I repeated my concern of the yellowish color and thickness of the nail and said that it's not normal. I also told her the toenail hasn't always been yellow or thick like that. She told me there was no infection since there wasn't any puss or discharge coming from the nail. At this point I felt like she was disregarding my child's wellbeing, belittling the concerns for my child and arguing with me instead of examining the situation in depth. I told her if you look at both big toenails you will see one is yellow and the other is not. At this point after having repeated myself several times she looked at both big toenails then said she would prescribe my child antibiotics. I told her, this is what I was trying to explain to you. It's not normal for their toenail to be yellow or the thickness. I left our visit feeling completely distressed, disregarded and I felt she wasn't listening to the concerns of a parent for their child. In Dapphney's profile on the Sky Park Pediatrics website it states "Dapphney is committed to providing high-quality clinical care for patients in partnership with their families." Dapphney failed to give my child the high-quality care they needed. This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional as a medical provider. An untreated toenail infection could lead to gangrene and possible amputation. Can you imagine that? If my child and I were treated this way, how many other families are not being treated with high-quality care and have to experience this? read more

Every single appointment we have booked for my son in the past few months has been cancelled less than 2 hours prior. We have been trying to see the Doctor per her own request for months now to follow up on a medication he is on. The office staff is rude, and the office in general does not value their patients time. It is to the point where I am having to file a grievance with our insurance due to the lack of care the office is providing. read more

We were formally Kaiser patients and with the change in insurance we were recommended here to dr. Medela, for care regarding our 2 month son at the time. Our son is now 15 months and visit after visit we have received nothing but excellent care and advice for our baby! Been going here for years and they are usually quick to answer their calls but not recently. They changed to a central answering service. There connected to an answering service now and it's horrible!! Takes so long and no answer just some random operator that suggests leaving a voicemail that is never sent to the office or looked at. I've tried reaching the office for 4 hours and nothing!! I walked into the office my self and explained the situation the office was EMPTY. Not busy at all and no calls were being routed. SKY PARK please change this answering service. So frustrating read more

I have taken my son to previous pediatricians and was not happy with the service provided. This is my second appointment I bring my son in and I'm more than satisfied with the service provided wish I could have had them since his birth and I will be bringing my unborn to this location. They are very flexible with appointments and show compassion towards the kids. read more

We go there and we liked it at first because it had the segregated sick kid area but then we go today in the sick kid area doors open and kids are running back-and-forth between the good area in the sick area in the moms are just talking to each other saying how their kids were throwing up and everything like that while letting their kids just run rampant around the entire facility and the nurses are just sitting there doing nothing all the while we have an appointment at 10:45 we're not seeing until 1145 and we showed up 30 minutes early just in case there's paperwork or anything for us to do. Was hoping I could put half a star. I moved a couple months ago and switched to sky park because it was on my side of town. At first I had an okay experience, but nothing stood out to me as a parent. The wait was a little long and my doctor seemed half interested in my newborn the entire visit. As a parent you deal with certain people in the medical field who don't seem as if they genuinely care about the well being of your child and this is one of those offices. The front desk is pushy and rude, and seems more interested in office gossip than answering the phone (probably because they're overbooked and worked to death, but not my problem). I have switched doctors here once already because my first doctor was just going through the ropes. After I finally switch doctors and find a decent one I call to let them know I was stuck at a train down the road and would be a couple minutes late to a 745am appointment (first one of the day) and am already told to reschedule until I ask about a late policy. I show up 11 mins late and walk into an empty office and am told I have to reschedule my daughters 1 month old checkup and the next appointment is another month out! Fast forward a couple months and now my daughters due for shots. I call about 7-8 times, sometimes even right at 8 when they open to schedule an appointment and when they finally answer I get put on hold. (Big surprise). They then proceed to tell me again that no appointments are available for a month. I just hung up the phone and called to find another doctors office. The doctor we see here is great at listening to our concerns and has always treated my family with respect. However, that much cannot be said for the women at the front desk. I thought maybe I was just being sensitive when one of the receptionist made me cry, but while on our last visit, I overheard one of the receptionist speaking very harshly to a parent on the other line. Not really sure what the issue was, and of coarse the other person on the phone could have been a real jerk, BUT this is a place of business meant to ASSIST parents and make them feel welcome, not have a snarky attitude no matter what the situation is-- just unacceptable. read more

Good luck seeing ANYBODY here.... my son has been a patient for a year and every time we make an appointment (regardless if it's in person or on the phone) the appointment is never logged and I always get the same answer... sorry we have new girls at the front and have to reschedule... and then I have to wait almost an hour to see a nurse practitioner and not even a doctor??
