Wait times hasn't improved. We reserve our appointments at least 2-3 months in advance. And we show up at least 5-10 minutes early to ensure we are on time. And my Daughter's actual check up is often no more than 5 minutes. But the wait times have been over an hour! read more

We found Dr. Kratzer through a co-worker's recommendation. Three days after our daughter was born we attempted to go to a pediatrician in our smaller town but our experience there was awful. We were so relieved when Dr. Kratzer's office was taking new patients and made the extra one-hour drive down to Fresno. Mary, Roberta, and Michelle have all been phenomenal in terms of taking the time to answer our questions. I never feel rushed or like they are trying to get out of the room and onto the next patient. Like others have said, I have had to wait sometimes (nothing close to the hours that they are saying) but a few extra minutes is worth it to have nurses and a doctor who truly know and care about my daughter. This is certainly one of the best doctor offices I've ever been to and the extra one-hour drive is certainly worth it for us! Side note: If you're a breastfeeding mama, particularly a new one, Dr. Kratzer and his staff specialize in helping you learn to breastfeed and will assist you with every aspect of it. They saved me after a bad hospital experience that I thought had ruined my daughter's chances of learning to breastfeed. They're amazing! read more

My son has been with Dr. Kratzer for two years now. They are huge on breastfeeding and will help you through the process if your baby if not latching. My son latched on right away, however I needed help with proper latching. Mary was so sweet and set a time to meet with me to help me make sure I was properly positioned. Being a first time mom I left feeling more confident and at peace. Also Dr. kratzer is patient and and arrived shortly after my son was born. Michelle the NP is amazing she so sweet and great with kids, she's easy to talk to and just a kind person she's good and knows her stuff! I hope she never leaves Dr.kratzer office. I've also met with Kerin and she's a great listener, patient, and will give you great suggestions before trying medicine. Kira the front staff is a sweet heart. Billing is a little up tight at times,she sometimes helps in the front not as friendly, but she has gotten better. Overall medical staff is awesome. There is a long wait time but I understand why...they truly take their time with each patient and never make you feel rushed. So my advice is take a new toy a couple of new books make sure your baby has had a snack before going in to hold them over during the wait time it's hard to find medical care where doctors and nurses really want to get to know their patient's. They even call a few days later to check in with you and baby to make sure they're doing better... you just can't get that type of care anyway. I also like that Dr. Kratzer doesn't push medication right away they take more of a holistic approach but I believe because they really listen to the parent concerns and what has been going on to make a determination before just giving a child medicine or antibiotics. I'm big on natural remedies so I appreciate their perspective. read more

Dr. Kratzer's office has been nothing short of a great experience for my family. We were recommended to try out his office as we were looking for a new pediatrician for our two children. We actually met with him before our 2nd was born in October '19 and were so pleased with him, the office itself, and his staff. He's very caring, knowledgeable, and just an overall good doctor. The nurse practitioners have also been quite pleasant to work with. We have had a couple fairly long waits, but that's always been our experience with pediatricians unfortunately. We love Dr Kratzer and Mary! They are unique providers in Fresno - they take time to listen to concerns, take your concerns seriously, and provide excellent care. My children are calm during exams (and stitches!) with everyone in this office. We do have to wait a little sometimes, but when it is your turn, you get all the time you need with the provider. This review has nothing to do with the doctor, only with the staff. When I made my appointment, the receptionist asked for my name, address, and insurance information. I assumed that was so they could send new patient paperwork, but I never received it. I confirmed their office took my insurance and scheduled the appointment. Usually when entering a business, clients are greeted by the receptionist with a smile and a friendly voice, but that wasn't my experience. I was given paperwork to complete and returned it to the receptionist along with my insurance card. She waited a few minutes before telling me they do not accept my insurance. My husband, who took time off work to meet me at the appointment, was understandably frustrated. I informed the receptionist I previously confirmed they did take my insurance. She said nothing to us, just handed me back my card. An apology would have been nice, but not wasting our time would have been great. read more

Services has gotten much better. Kiara (front desk/MA?) I think that's her name is always so kind and friendly. The wait time has decrease drastically from 2-3 hours to 5-15 minutes. I have seen many different NPs within the last year or two from this facility, but they're all nice especially Michelle who is very knowledgeable and gives a lot of good suggestions. It's still rare to meet Dr. Kratzer. They just hired a PA so there will be another provider there. Forgot her name but she was nice too. read more

My kids have grown up on regular visits with Dr. Kratzer and Mary. From the time he appeared at the hospital to meet my newborn daughter; to the time my four-year-old son put Styrofoam in his ear (TWICE); to needing copies of inoculation records for every school, church, and childcare center we ever touched in the least; to a couple of months ago when my daughter was dehydrated... this practice and the people in it have been an essential part of our family since 2002. read more

Dr. Kratzer has been my kids pediatrician for years now. One thing we really like him for is he is very holistic in his approach to our kids health. Its important to us as we see a Chiropractor, take daily supplements, exercise and do our best to eat right. Not having our kids loaded up with unnecessary medications making them toxic is important to us and this doc works with us, and in Fresno, thats a hard thing to find. We love Dr K and his team! They always encourage informed consent and are very respectful of your choices. They've always taken great care of my daughter. I was lucky I found Dr K when I was pregnant, he came to the hospital the day my daughter was born, supported us in our choice to exclusively breastfeed and made sure we got in with the lactation consultant in his office. We often see the NP when we go in, Mary Graves, she is amazing with kids and very reassuring with parents. We don't generally have an issue with wait time, and can always get in right away when we need to. read more
