8-years later and this place is still delivering yummy doughnuts and friendly service. This time around the cinnamon sugar coated cinnamon roll and the french cruller were on my hit list... and they did not disappoint. The cinnamon roll was amazing. Soft and doughy, but not too sweet, with the perfect level of cinnamon coating. Next to old fashioneds, the french cruller is my favorite donut! This cruller was glazed with strawberry frosting and was insanely soft, on the inside, and had a light crunch on the outside. They also make tons of classic donuts here as well like; glaze twists, maple bars, sprinkles, cake donuts, and even mochi donuts. Not much in terms of drinks, just a cooler fridge filled with bottled drinks and fresh brewed hot coffee. My new go-to donut shop. Best tasting donuts in town. Also, the lady at the counter was so generous. It was my daughter's birthday and she gave an extra donut and some donuts holes for free. She also had bunches of bananas and bags of lime which she also gave one of each to us for free. With all these videos of the trendy Kneffeh chocolate, I was in search of a donut version. I will continue to search. Although the milk chocolate version here was decent, it did lack the pistachio taste and flavor. The dark chocolate version was just a dark chocolate donut. If you're looking for a crunch in your donut then this is good. I also had the apple fritter and that was very good. There was apple in the donuts and it was very apparent. There's a lot of places that really lack the apple in their fritters but this one takes the cake. This place is out of the way for me so if you're in the neighborhood check it out. I had heard Clovis Donuts had the Dubai chocolate version of donuts and called ahead to place an order. While both dark and milk chocolate versions were on offer, We opted for the milk chocolate version. We also ordered a bear claw and a few other items. The bear claw was light, filled with a lightly spiced apple filling and not overly sweet; in other words, delicious. We savored the Dubai chocolate donut. It was covered in luscious chocolate, sprinkled with crushed pistachio,filled with sweet pistachio cream mixed with kataifi (shredded phyllo in tiny crunchy bits). The pistachio cream had a hint of pistachio, and could have been more strongly flavored pistachio for my taste. Nonetheless, it was still delicious. Come early especially on weekends and do expect a line. I recommend bringing cash as there is a fee when you use a card. There is a small note by the register that they will add on automatically when ringing you up. It was a bit hard to find the menu of donuts the shop offered prior to visiting. There are labels of certain donuts in the display case when ordering but do decide fast as people can get impatient. The place has a few tables but mostly people purchase their donuts and leave. The first time I visited, I ordered too many donuts that spoiled after a day, so highly do not recommend buying more than what you can finish. read more

Last Wednesday morning I stopped in with a friend before our fishing trip, the line was to the door but once I got up to ordering I knew why. The donuts looked MOUTH WATERING. I was not aware I had gone in on "National Donut Day," Why is Clovis Donuts special? They have an abundance of creativity. I've been touting their cronuts for a while now. The fruit is fresh, the cream is just the right amount, and the cronuts are baked perfectly every time. Similarly, they have some very unique toppings. They have taken the seasonal fruit and made frosting for some of the donuts. So far, I have tried mixed berry, strawberry, vanilla (not really fresh fruit but still incredible), and my favorite, orange. Usually, when I come in, there's a line going out the door.
