Getting the food calendar ready for the week and spotted this place to get some donuts! Safe and clean! Workers are very kind and welcoming! Easy to talk to! I'm not sure if I caught them on a bad day or something but this place just looked like it was going out of business. I walked in and no lights were on just one light flickering. I still wanted to give it a chance because maybe it was other circumstances but I wish I didn't. Donuts were stale, clearly old, and somehow tasted burnt. Would not recommend going. read more

Unfortunately, this place has changed. The donuts are not fresh, and they tasted like old oil. And the place really needs a renovation. The couple that runs it are extremely nice and provide the best customer service. I've been visiting Ann's since i was a kid. Now im in my 40s and bring my kids here. Would give a zero due as soon as I took a bite the donut tasted sour, was sunken in, and even smelled sour which I spit right out. I'm sure I saw the guy warm them up a bit in the microwave in the back probably to soften them up before putting them in the box, which leads me now to believe they were at least a day or two old which is why he did it. Ugh should have known something was up. Never going to this place again. They even did a bate and switch on two of them. Had asked for a chocolate donut with sprinkles and was given some white plane nasty looking pink sprinkles one instead and it didn't look any better. read more

I should've walked out the minute I saw the unappealing donuts but I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. The donuts were over fried. It was hard and had a slight burnt taste. So I may be little biased about this place as i have taste for sweetness but this place makes great donuts of all kinds. Coffee is mediocre and I would not recommend their croissant type pastries though! Maple bars and sugared are my favorites. Not much atmosphere and can get very busy between 7 and 8 a.m. So try to avoid the rush! read more

Hands down the best doughnut shop in Fresno. Krispy Kreme can't even be mentioned in the same sentence with Ann's! I have been going to Ann's Doughnuts for the last 15 years and do not plan to stop. Their doughnuts have been consistently delicious for as long as they have been opened. My all time favorite is the maple bar, especially right after the shop opens around 6 am and they are still warm! The owner of the shop remembers me as well as my order every time I come to visit.
