    Thai tea!
    Neomi A.

I tried via DoorDash, because 5$ for two donuts and a Thai tea is such a good price and I also got a croissant and orange juice. No complaints at all. Donuts were not overwhelmingly sweet, breakfast croissant was flaky, soft and yummy: also the Thai tea was a decent size which is RARE. Good job

A dozen doughnuts delivered by DoorDash.

As a breakfast surprise, I sent my friend in CA a dozen donuts from this place (not having read the bad reviews) through DoorDash and I'm told they were delicious! They look great in the photo for sure. He reported that they were light and fluffy. They were a huge hit!

Long hair baked in with the fritter

First and last time. We got a dozen donuts and a apple fritter. After eating about 1/2 of the fritter I got a surprise in my mouth and it wasn't what a special filling. A HAIR! It was in my mouth and obviously baked in to the fritter. Absolutely disgusting!

Very fresh and delicious egg rolls are off the hook (no meat) #27 extra Mayo mustard and red onion

Breakfast Sandwich, Donut, Diet Soda. (Shush)

I had spent the night at the Motel 6 across the street. My brain had caught sight this place during my stay, and I knew I'd be visiting before my brief visit of Fresno was over. I checked out of the Motel, and drove the short distance to this place. I pushed on the door and entered, the ding-a-ling of the bell alerted the owners, and I was quickly greeted and made to feel welcome for my visit. I held up my debit card and asked if they accepted plastic as a form of payment, and upon getting an affirmative answer, I began to excitedly ponder my breakfast. Looking up at the pictures and menus posted on the walls, I noticed "breakfast bagel sandwiches." I could get one with any of three forms of pig. Bacon, Sausage or Ham. I do like me a good breakfast bagel sandwich. Eggs, cheese and meat. All snuggled up on a toasty warm crispy bagel. It's like having breakfast within a breakfast. It's like that movie Inception...but with breakfast food...and I'm not exactly Leonardo Decaprio. Since I was in a donut shop, and their donuts on display also looked quite wonderful and delicious; I felt I should also sample their donuts. Just to make sure. I do this for you. I hungrily looked through their case, and eventually chose a spikey lookin chocolate covered chocolate chip covered twistie-do-pretzel-thingy as my sampling of their donuts. For a beverage, I felt I wanted a cold to go with my food. I also wanted something sealable for the road. Coffee cups have that slim possibility of losing their top. Soda bottles don't do that. After all the mileage and adventures, I still love my car. So no chance of liquid spilt in her. An icy diet coke seemed fitting. Lady behind the counter rang me up, and let me know that they'd be making my sandwich. Total was fiveish or sixish dollars. She carefully placed my donut in a red 'for here' basket. I grabbed my soda, my donut basket, and took a seat at a table by the big picture windows. I looked outside and casually flipped through the photos on my phone of my trip thus far. Fresno has some pretty darn neat things, and I'd photographed the few great and neat things I'd seen. My trips usually do spark more trips to the areas I visit. Before too long, husband of lady behind the counter came out from the back room with a small waxed bag. He handed it to lady, who called me up, and she handed it to me. It was warm. It smelled of steaming meat and toasted bagel. Not many things can top that scent at eight in the morning. I took my warm bag back to my table and opened it up. Inside was a warm golden toasty bagel, with egg, cheese and bacon inside. It also had some dressing. Ranch? Nummy! I like it! I had to wait a bit for the bagel to cool off, but once I did. It was really pretty great! I wonder if I could have gotten all three forms of pig on the thing? I'll have to try that next time. After the bagel sandwich, the donut was next. The chocolate chips adding a bit of texture and flair and extra chocolate to the chocolate frosting of the donut. It looked kinda like a curled up porcupine with all the chocolate chips, but it tasted way better than a curled up porcupine. (Okay, I lied just there. I've never actually had porcupine. But shut up. The donut was tasty.) In addition to the fuel provided by the breakfast sandwich, I had an additional sugar buzz after that thing! TURBO! ...out to the car, where I carefully put my soda in the cup-holder, and then buckled my seat belt before starting up the car and heading out towards my next stop on my random sights road trip. Thanks Donut Queen! I hope to be in your realm again!

The quality of the donut was actually really good, they clearly have a good recipe and good technique. I was a little sad they only offer crullers on the weekends, which I always work so I'll never be able to try them. Also, the filled donuts seem to be sliced in half with filling spread between the halves, rather than filled via a piping bag and a hole, so they were an awful mess to eat. Definitely wouldn't recommend those even though the flavor was good. However, the blueberry old fashioned was delicious and so was the maple bacon bar. Pretty good but not the absolute best, hence the 4 stars. Plus the staff were friendly and helpful. We took our donuts to go, so I can't speak to the dine in experience, but it certainly fulfills a craving for donuts, just pick the right ones.

Disappointingly, despite many enticing photos on Yelp, our first visit to Judy's Donuts at First and Bullard left our group of kids (and kids at heart) feeling underwhelmed. On a Sunday morning around 8:30AM, the display case had a meager selection of classic donuts. We were hoping to be struck with indecision as the kiddos poured over the details of all the colorful options, and Judy's just wasn't that. Instead, a small number of the usual suspects were represented, including raised, buttermilk, old-fashioned, and a delicious apple fritter -- but no rainbow-rice-crispy donuts, no Oreo toppings, nor any animal shapes, or rainbows-with-clouds, or donuts with googly-eye-faces. Luckily we were able to buy the one pink donut they had available. The rest were all just "normal donuts". They were certainly fresh and delicious, but just donuts, nothing more. Judy's wasn't at all what we came searching for, but still solid 4 stars because they were all soft and tasty -- it's hard to be mad about well made donuts. They get bonus points for putting assorted toppings on the donut holes, instead of just glazed, that's kinda creative I guess. For sure it makes the donut holes way more enticing, especially for the kid in me that wants to take a little bite of each one. Judy's Donuts were fresh and delicious -- we'll have to find enticing creative donuts and indecision-inspiring display cases elsewhere.

While I was waiting I happened to see an episode of Dāv Kaufman Eats the World where he and Bob did a donut tour of LA and rated each place. They were really disappointed with Randy's because it was supposed to be the best. It was their worst, so I stopped praying for it to open in Fresno. But when it did I stopped in and tried them out. They were pretty underwhelming, but at that point I was kind of expecting them to be. Fast forward to Easter 2026...I decided that I was going to treat myself to some donuts to help celebrate the holiday. I got six and a medium cold brew and my total was $24. Pretty steep for donuts but it was a special occasion. The lady who helped me was super friendly and she put up with my wishy-washiness about what I wanted in my coffee. I appreciated that. The donuts were fine but not better than other places in Fresno. The long John with cream weighed a ton from all the filling inside, so they don't try to cheat you out of the good stuff. Same goes for the raspberry jelly donut. Lots of filling but definitely not what I would call jelly. It was the same as that translucent paste they try to pass off as jelly in crappy grocery store bakeries which was unfortunate. The matcha donut was huge but it didn't taste like matcha. It was just green colored plain icing. The Easter one was cute but uneventful. The lemon old fashioned was okay but nothing I'd go back for. The sixth donut was a plain cake which I got for my dogs. They seemed to really like it. I think Randy's relies on its fame to attract customers because their donuts are mediocre at best and very expensive. If you're not a donut connoisseur, you might actually like them. But I can't imagine a die hard donut fanatic being blown away by these. If someone were to put one in front of me I wouldn't turn it down but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there again.

The options were endless! And so many coffee drinks, frozen lemonades, and boba drinks available too! The space is huge! We asked about this and were told that since they didn't put in public restrooms, they couldn't have tables and chairs, but I'm sure they'd get a lot of students hanging out for donuts and coffee if they put up some tables and chairs, maybe some wifi/outlets! The have the space for it. But I also get accessibility! Like I said, options seemed endless. We ended up with a couple sugar, a coconut, a devils food, a pink sprinkle and some sprinkle covered donut holes. All of which were larger than your average donuts, but not the size of their Texas sized donuts! They were really delicious, a little thicker than an airy donut, but in a good way. We also tried a caramel macchiato. It was surprisingly yummy! Not overly sweet or any. Weird caramel flavors. It was good. We were offered milk options of whole, oat or soy. I want to try a frozen lemonade next time. Prices are hard to judge now a days. Was 7 donuts and a large iced coffee worth $20. For a fun family outing after soccer, yes, yes it was. Especially with such kind staff. They made our experience great and it was lovely chatting with them. Randy's is so close to our house so we will be back but it may be dangerous!
