This is our first time trying this restaurant. It was right next to the Kroger and Hallmark store and decided to hop in for a quick dinner . The bread with the pickles and jalapeños is absolutely amazing. We did prefer this over the pizza. The square pizza was a bit soggy and tasted like it was not cooked enough. If we try it again, we will ask for well done. The staff was friendly and we were able to pick up the food in a reasonable amount of time. We walked in to order and waited about 25 minutes. First time I ordered from this place the owner was rude and that was first month they opened. I gave her another chance and luckily have only encountered her a couple times over the years. Today she was beyond rude I will never step foot in there again. I can see why she's not working at the original restarting those people are very friendly. I've been a clover leaf fan since the original opened in East Detroit. I'll be going back there or any of the other franchises from here on out but never again will I contribute a dime to that woman. Ordered large pepperoni round pizza and BBQ wings (sauce on the side). Pizza was greasy and bland with little sauce. Wings were no better than those from grocery store and BBQ sauce tastes just like bottled sauce. The only positive was fast and friendly delivery. Will not order from there again. read more

The rating and review are primarily for the gluten free square pizza. The only complaint I can think of is it only comes in one size... small. It was so good that despite being very full, I would have eaten a second pizza, if it were available. It is a thicker crust, Detroit style pizza with sauce on top. The crust was one of the best gluten free crusts I've had. as there is a flavor of yeast which is typically missing from most gluten free crusts. Again, it was thicker, and still had a crisp outside, and chewy inside, as Detroit pizza typically is. I will say, quite remenuscent of when I used to be a normal, gluten eating human.... Pizza is not inexpensive, for sure, but, it has moved into first place for GF pizza in my book. Another huge plus for me is that they do not cut the crust. I typically ask through this with gluten free pizza anyways as it increases the cross contamination risk, tenfold. So I was happy with that. My husband, ( a normal, as I refer to his eating ability), ordered the regular pizza which he liked quite a bit. Next time, we would ask for light sauce as it was a bit heavy on the sauce. I'm glad I gave them a second try now that that have been open a while and worked out the imperfections we would like to think we are Pizza snobs and are picky when it comes to even distribution and ingredients used . Today we ordered a little from each category they offer first off the antipasta salad was fresh , cold and the Italian dressing was great, then we ordered both round and square pizzas the round one was cheese with buttery crust and the kids loved it as for the square I ordered the supreme with Cajun crust that was spicy and delicious then we finished with square cheese bread that was golden brown and flavorful so we will be returning soon! read more

This location has lost touch with the real Cloverleaf. Pizza got real expensive which I understand but the quality went out the window. Skimpy on the toppings and last time was burnt. Historically, Cloverleaf is known for it's square pizza, however the round pizza tastes better. The heavy square pizza I recieved had areas of translucent raw dough in the middle. It clearly didn't have time to rise. Yuck. Compared to the competition, Cloverleaf's pizza tastes more Italian with increased garlic and oregano in the mix. Overall, it's just average and pricey. The Cloverbread is super garlicky, cheesy and delicious but expensive. It blows away the area competition. I'll never order Jet bread again. This location provides much-needed direct competition with Jets on 23 Mile (which has gone downhill) and the other dreck pizza places located elsewhere. Regarding Cloverleaf vs Jets, there's not any real huge differences between the two. Both are average at best. Pick the one with the better coupons. read more

The best place to arrive in New Baltimore since CJ's Boathouse Grille. All connected to the Buddys pizza family they make thee respected Detroit Family Square pizza to shock and awe anyone who has not had this experience. Now that they are local to us they have a very updated website to offer fast and personalized ordering which has been flawless from my last 20 orders. They offer a email fanclub as well as a rewards member club for free pizzas. Place is very small meant to be for carryout but did add two small tables and chairs if you care to eat inside. Very close family based on the Guerra family who established CloverLeafs in Eastpointe. So glad they are in our town. I eat there at least twice a week and recommend the Monday-Tuesday Large 1 topping for $8.99. Yummy! read more

Flavorless rubber crust topped with what tasted like tomato paste, a little cheese, and the toppings. I was so excited to see a new pizza place in town! Decided to venture out today and pick up. The cashier was nice but very talkative and not working WHILE talking. Our pizza was ready a few mins early and we got home in a few moments and were ready to dive in. But my ranch was missing. It was on the receipt sticking out of the box, however. The bread was decent. When we called & ordered the square bread they asked "round or square"... uhhhh I would think if it's called square bread on the menu it would be square?! But like I said, decent. Not great. The pizza was disappointing. Both items were not lukewarm by the time we got home, we live 1/2 mile away and I had arrived early to pick up. So that was sad. Pizza is styled like Buddy's, sauce on top. But the sauce was WAY too sweet for me. It was like tomato paste, no flavor. I wasn't a fan of the pepperonis, either. And, it was super greasy. I'm not sure what the deal is with these Yelp reviews. I almost didn't go to this location because of them. That would have been a big mistake. Honestly if you're going to buy a pizza I would highly recommend giving this place a try. I had Cloverleaf Pizza last about 30 years ago so I don't remember what it was like then but I remember it being good and this place seriously blew me away!! I ordered a Meat lovers with extra sauce and butter Parmesan all over the pizza. That was incredible!! Pizza was cooked perfect and had great flavor. It even reheats well! We also ordered an Antipasto salad. Now I've seen some good ones in the past but this was far beyond what I expected. Nice plump green and black olives, tons of meat and cheese as well as garbanzo beans all with some very tasty ranch dressing. (Side note: salad was a bit too wet so I would say invest in a salad spinner because it didn't keep well for left overs but not a total loss) All in all a great meal! 5/5 read more

I have been to this location several times now. I've lived in the area a long time, and have been waiting for a place to get a decent pizza. I love the rewards program. I enjoy both the round and square pizzas. If you love Spicy Pepperoni's, like I do, you can choose that option. Great crust, with great flavored crust options! The sauce is not overwhelming, it's not spread all over the pizza, which is great to me. I usually have to order light sauce, but not at Cloverleaf. Very tasty enjoyable pizza for the price. I wanted to like this place, I really did. We ordered two large pizzas for delivery, along with some bread. Over an hour went by, I called to see if there was an issue. The person who took our order accidentally put it in for pick up. Okay, no big deal... They offer to remake the pizza and deliver it asap, free of charge. Over an hour later, it finally arrives. We live a five minute drive from this establishment. The pizza wasn't hot, the sauce was dolloped all over the cheese, which wasn't awful, but it wasn't great, either. The bread was decent. Pizza is super yummy. We love the bruschetta pizza and the BLT pizza. We have also ordered a few calzones from here which were not the greatest. The Italian calzone had about 4 pieces of lunch at & the chicken ranch had odd flavor. We dont order pizza often because they are a bit on the pricey side but super yummy read more

I placed a delivery at 5:02 online and was at 26 Romeo Plank.Confirmation was for 30 minutes for 2 large pizzas and cheesy bread.When I got there at 5:30pm I was told that I have to wait for my breadsticks and would be a few minutes.I left the store at 6:05pm with my food.They blamed the order online,but that is no excuse for me to sit there all that time while others keep coming in and out with food.Also a lady ordered a pizza walking in and still got her pizza before I did.All I can say is don't order from them online.I feel so much better now getting this off my chest. read more
