The tasting room was very cozy and had such warmth to it. Here you can see all the wines, merchandise, and other products made with their grapes. And they have slushies! They have wine slushies, and non-alcoholic slushies. We got to try the Muscadine Wine Slushy, and it was awesome! They offer three lines of wines: The Family: muscadine wines, The Farm: fruit & specialty muscadine wines, Sweet Tree: wines infused with fruit flavors. We each chose different line of wines, so that we can try more flavors. I went with Sweet Tree line, since I love sweet, fruity wines. My hubby went with The Farm line. Each with beautiful color and scent. I LOVED them all! I wish if we can have a bottle of their wine every day... With the wine tasting, we also got their charcuterie board which was perfect with all the wines. It had some cured meats, nuts, cheese and crackers, and jam/jelly. This was such a great visit, we loved all the wines, and the charcuterie board. We especially enjoyed the tour of the facility and learning about the grapes, process, and the history of the Paulk Vineyards. Then, it was on to a semi-dry white (Muscadine). And, for the first time in my life, the sweet wines Blackberry, Blueberry, Plum, Peach Passion, Peach Shine {21% ABV!} and, Strawberry). All were absolutely delicious! And, had a few pretzels, too. Since I already have some Pinot Noir, I settled on a bottle of the White Muscadine, Blueberry and, Peach Passion (the Peach Shine has a "peachier" flavor, but at 21% ABV, was too much for me). We returned a second time in December. I was able to schedule an appointment on a Sunday with Bo for them to open. He was great! Very informative and pleasant. He shared some good stories with us. The tastings are held inside but you have an opportunity to walk outside and explore. Stacy, our driver was amazing. He arrived a few minutes before the schedule pick-up time. At each destination he was attentive and periodically checked on everyone in my party. He was available if we needed anything and communicated the times to ensure we were on schedule. He also was an awesome camera man. The Cana team was very professional and responsive to all questions and inquiries. Overall it was an unforgettable experience and I enjoyed celebrating my birthday with them.

I booked Chris and Rebecca for a wine tour during a birthday/life celebration trip my friend and I…read morewere on. Rebecca was incredibly easy to communicate with and helped me set everything up ahead of time. I felt incredibly taken care of from the first interaction through when they dropped us off at our doorstep and carried our wine to the door. Chris picked my friend and I up and we met Rebecca with the van which they decorated with a darling happy birthday sign, cold water, and an assortment of snacks. I was blown away by their hospitality. Before hitting the road they reviewed the wineries we planned to visit and then we were off. Rebecca drove safely and made conversation with us along the way. Chris was very knowledgeable about the vineyards and wines. Each time we arrived at a new vineyard Chris opened the car door and offered his hand as we stepped down from the van. He opened the vineyard door and helped us find seats at each winery, and then gave us space to enjoy our tasting. Between tastings he made sure we were comfortable and had plenty of water and snacks. He even brought our next tasting out to our seats so that we wouldn't need to get up- it was truly FULL service in every single way. I never once felt rushed by him or Rebecca, and their smiling faces and easy demeanor really created the perfect environment for my friend and I to cut loose and enjoy ourselves. After our tastings we said goodbye and Chris drove us back to our cabin where he personally carried the box of wine to our front door. He thanked us for spending the day with him and was on his way. I cannot recommend Chris and Rebecca enough! I will absolutely be booking with them again. I highly recommend them for any trip! Their prices are incredibly reasonable- and the service is top notch. I was blown away and cannot wait to book another trip with them!
