My wife and I had our wedding here this summer. The place is a beautiful venue. We actually had…read moreour wedding on a Sunday. We had a good experience overall. However, there are a few things I think were lacking. One, there is no A/C in the barn. That is a real problem in the summer. Also, there's no ice machine or real kitchen amenities. Since this place is remotely located in a rural area, you really need to have all amenities necessary to make it the best experience possible. Also, the owner of the place was a bit bothersome during our service. He was constantly looking at his watch as if we should be done, when we were well within the time limit we had rented the place for. He also was a bit rude to our DJ, who had taped some cords on the floor. Nothing was ever said to the DJ beforehand about taping things to the floor, but comments were made to him afterwards. No damage was done to the floor, however. Also, our deposit check was cashed immediately upon receiving it. Usually, deposit checks are held and either returned or destroyed if no damage is done. Our deposit check was deposited and held for 3 months, and then another check was written to us about 2 weeks after our wedding. This was not discussed with us beforehand. Overall, the facility is nice and we enjoyed using it. But, it could have been a much better experience. For the money we paid to rent this place, it was not as good of an experience as it should've or could've been.

i Attended a wedding on yesterday as i got there i admired the grounds, very beautiful place.. but…read morei noticed while the ceremony was going on their was a man just standing and hovering over the us..then the unthinkable happened the guy started going up to the dj saying things which i could tell it was bothersome from how the dj facial expression changed.. then at the reception he just stood on the dance floor with us we offered some to eat or drink he declined but stayed starring at us which made alot of us very uncomfortable... the wedding was suppose to end at 10 but he came and told the dj at 8pm the fire marshall was shutting us down and not one fire rescue truck was there then he stated the neighbors was complaining about the music.. (mind you we are outside on the patio ) the look on his face was more of a im ready to go and ready for yall to leave ... if they (the owners) are going to harass guest or clients maybe they shouldnt have a venue center...
