This was a great wine tour. We went to three wineries. Grapes and Ladders, Ott Vineyard and Winery, and Canoe Winery. Each stop offered a unique experience and a variety of wine samplings. Our tour was on a Saturday, two of the wineries had live music and food for purchase. Each winery was beautifully decorated and offered wine and cute gifts to purchase. The tastings are held inside but you have an opportunity to walk outside and explore. Stacy, our driver was amazing. He arrived a few minutes before the schedule pick-up time. At each destination he was attentive and periodically checked on everyone in my party. He was available if we needed anything and communicated the times to ensure we were on schedule. He also was an awesome camera man. The Cana team was very professional and responsive to all questions and inquiries. My family and I had the pleasure of Stacey Drivers to drive us to Port Canaveral and return us to Hampton, GA. The van was comfortable, clean and convenient. Dr. Driver was pleasant, efficient and attentive to the needs of my family. We made a couple of rest stops on the way there and back. Stacey Driver was so patience and flexible with us. We were delayed with the disembarkment, so with a single call he adjusted his plan and pick us up at the Port. He was very pleasant, although his schedule was delayed. He transported us safely home althought the weather included thunderstorms most of the way back home. I was so happy that I didn't have to drive in that weather. Loved everything about this tour. My boyfriend and I did a private tour for our birthday. Stacey was our driver he was so helpful and also funny. He took amazing photos of us. Booking the tour was easy. Everything was upfront and I love the fact there was text communication. Stacey came and picked us up from our home. He was on time and very knowledgeable. This was more like a beer crawl with a bus transport. They basically pick you up and drop you off to each winery. There is nothing exclusive or informational about Cana Wine Tour. You probably be better off going to a library to find a book on the history of wine. Our driver was late I had to call to find out what was going on. But we still tipped her nicely because it's the right thing to do. Winery #2 was beautiful but our lunch was ice cold and thrown together. My group purchased shirts from winery #4 they didn't bother to give us a bag. Then the lady servicing us asked me is it "really" your birthday today? Mind you I'm wearing a button that says happy birthday and a tiara (just say happy birthday) gheesh! I also personally addressed a few issues with the owner Lisa she never offered a apology or took any accountability. This company should definitely consider spruce things up a bit. This was not an 5 star experience. I have had better wine tastings at Cooper Hawk and they're not at a actual vineyard. read more

We went on a Cana Wine Tour today and had a great time. Our driver Dana, was the best. Traffic was bad so she was a little late but once we were on the road, It was amazing. The first stop was Waldmet Cellars. From the outside, it wasn't what we expected but once inside, it was very nice. The owners were very nice and gave us a good over view of their business. I didn't there was a such thing as wine made from Honey. It was very good. Needless to say, A couple of bottles came home with me. The next stop was Grapes and Ladders Winery. This was, by far, the best stop. It was very picturesque and the staff was amazing. I was a little worried about our lunches since they were picked up by our driver, but the food was excellent. This Winery had frozen wine slushies that were delicious. We really didn't want to leave. Alas, we arrived at the last winery, Cartecay Vineyards in Ellijay. We weren't greeted very warmly. There were few smiles and the atmosphere was a little hostile. As if they were saying "what are THEY doing here?" That is one winery I won't go out of my way to visit again. I think they should either be taken of the tour route or make sure you have the people they welcome when you go. That was a sour note to end on but I will go on this tour again. We went on Sunday so we went to three wineries. That was enough. The pours, in general, were generous and the ride from one to the other gave you time to chill and drink water. I was really nervous to book a winery tour due to the current state of COVID however after the great flexibility provided by Lisa with my booking and accommodations for my group of 4 I felt so much better! We did the three winery tours package in a private vehicle. I expected to have a traditional tour van but was so surprised and pleased with our infinity truck ( mind you this company picks you up from your home ). Each winey had a reserved table for my group that made us feel like VIP! The lunch was so good it was hot and we had such large servings! Our driver LeKay was amazing super attentive and made sure we had a blast in-between locations. I booked this tour for a relaxing girlfriend's day out! We took a group of 6 and absolutely loved it. This company offers curb side pick up in their van. We visited 3 wineries and loaded up on wine. They ordered lunch for us where we were able to enjoy lunch at our 2nd stop. My favorite winery was Currahee Vineyard and Winery. Our host Danny was so passionate with explaining the wines, and history behind the vineyard. Our driver Steve was awesome and there to make sure we were comfortable at all times. This is a perfect trip to over indulge and enjoy yourself and not worry about drinking and driving. Thank you Lisa for this amazing experience. Top Notch, and i am referring to both the service and the vineyards. First, they offered door service with the pickup/dropoff. Second, their cost, which is very reasonable, covered all tasting fees and included lunch. no hidden costs! Most services involve you driving to Dahlonega, then paying your own way into each place. The secret to their great price point is the vineyards they partner. You will not see the 'BIG' commercial wineries on your itinerary, but bigger does not mean better. The smaller vineyards we visited are extraordinary. The tasting rooms are quaint and inviting, the atmosphere is intimate, the staff is attentive, and the wines are fantastic. We visited 2 that were smaller that 10 acres (stonewall creek and cenita), and they were the highlights of our trip. Our fees also included a lunch at a vineyard, and the food was Sonoma worthy. fresh, locally grown produce, with good GA flavor I took my wife for her birthday, and she absolutely loved it! We drank great wine (~20 tastings w generous pours), meet great people, and finished the day with one of Sergio's trademark wine slushies.
