School because it is so bright and sparce and just picnic tables and benches, cool youth church because the tables & benches are wood with black metal frames. The bartenders, in the past, made quality drinks expeditiously. Now, waiting over ten minutes for an overpriced, mediocre drink is common. The wine pours are shockingly small. The food is "good" bar food at a premium price. Hearing "we're out of that" wine or beer is common. Watching a manager playing on his phone behind the bar with a line a people waiting on a drink with only one bartender working is common. I feel that if the owner doesn't swiftly change things soon, there won't be a Towerhouse in six months.

So on our road trip home, Z and Z obviously spends their advertising and we were lured by their billboards along the way. With their location just off of the interstate, it was a good bet if we were getting some liquor on our way home. The place is pretty big and is wall to wall adult beverages. They had a really good selection. Similar to what I see at the state store here... but with a whole lot better prices. The staff was friendly and they even have a drive thru. Not a place I would go out of my way for. But if it is in your path, I recommend a stop in.

Maybe they've had issues with theft or robberies, but whatever the reason, I walked away feeling like I was racially profiled the moment I came inside. I usually use the drive-thru, but I went inside because I wanted to browse a new alcohol selection without holding up the line. Apparently that was a mistake. I've been shopping here since 2017 and never expected to be treated with suspicion and disrespect. After years of loyal business, this is how customers are treated? Absolutely unacceptable. Respect is free, and once it's gone, so is my business. I'll gladly take my money to the liquor on hwy 42, where I'm hopeful I'll be treated like a paying customer instead of a suspect. I DON'T TOLERATE DISRESPECT, AND I WON'T SUPPORT A BUSINESS THAT MAKES ME FEEL UNWELCOME.
