I asked them to tow my truck to my place. My truck was in their shop, and they brought it to my place. Before they towed the truck it was perfectly fine. But after they brought the truck to my yard a piece started leaking and the driveshaft was damaged completely. They made me pay $2,000 for everything. Not very reliable or accurate time of arrival. Starts with a couple hrs then when I call in to check after 2hrs, it's now up to 3hr and then it 4hrs. Then we get a text en route and still wait another hr!! They say only 15mins away but do they show up...NO. Give some realistic arrival time please and not waste peoples time waiting around. Gas tank emptied at Clova Towing . After my car accident attended by the Fire Department I asked that it be towed to my house about a block away. The fireman in charge told that it had to be towed to Clova Towing. I found out after reporting the accident to ICBC the car could have been towed to my house. I then called Clova Towing to have the have it towed back the next day and put into my secure house garage The gas had just been filled prior the accident. But after being at Clova Towing less than 24 hours the gas was empty. This was discovered later when my son got equipment to remove the gas . My wife was in an accident vehicle was supposed to be towed to our home instead the driver convinced her to tow it to their yard. They charged incredibly strange fees like $35 to pick up one small piece of broken plastic and put it in the car. $60 a day storage. My car was booked to be picked up (A week ago) between 9-10AM, I had also scheduled a rental car to be picked up at 12:30 (Assuming a company as common as Clover Towing would be reliable). I called at quarter 10 drive to ask where they were as it was running late, and I was told I'd recieve a call back right after they called dispatch. Long story short, I had to call again at 11:45 and was told that the soonest they would come was 90 minutes... So am I supposed to cancel other appointments to wait on a tow truck company that makes appointments for no reason? I booked an appt. a couple night back, they said they would be at my house the next morning by 9:30am...By 9:40 they still hadn't shown, so I called them, they told me they were close so I waited another 45 mins...I called them at 10:30am and they had no idea what I was talking about!!!! I was blown away, they said I wasn't even in the system!!! I had clients at work waiting for me and I ran behind the whole day. I'm a stylist and was back to work June 2nd and they did this to me!!! I was told by a few people about another company and they were amazing, got to my place early and 10 mins later, they were at my mechanics, cost $60 to tow, not the prices these guys would charge, they have charge a lot for towing cause they're rent in they're shop is really high... I did not had tolls service with them. But they are unprofessional. I tried to change lane on the hwy, putted my right signal time on. I only see the tow car accelerating rather than and speeding with me as I tried to go faster. So i almost missed the exit. And the tow truck is tolling a car behind. feel sorry for the car who got toll, the truck was going very high speed on highway and cornering on exit. the tolled car was got bouncing so much, and the car was tolling backward over 100km.... im not sure if this ok.... but imagine your set front wheels set going backward over 100km... probably it will damage your tires or the alignment since it corner fast. *not all tires going both direction good luck to this company, unprofessional read more

On Saturday my car died as we were travelling on Highway 1 and upon inspection under the hood was coated with transmission fluid as well as puddles of it under my car.. I had my two young kids with me and it was 30 plus degrees. I called Clover towing and was told it would be about 40 minutes wait. After about an hour I called back and dealt with amazing staff that explained someone was on route but that there were several issues and accidents hence the longer wait. I got a call back from a driver who apologized and explained that he was close to where we were. He arrived and really saved the day. The driver was great with my kids and turned a bad situation into an adventure for them. He was professional and extremely kind and my kids and I owe him a huge thank you for going the extra mile and making us smile when all I wanted to do was cry. Thank you! read more

Kirby, who helped us out, was friendly and and professional. It was a challenging job but he was persistent. I attempted to use Clover Towing to have a vehicle towed to the mechanic, I called 3 days in advance because I wanted to have the tow truck pick up my vehicle on time. I called on the day, to make sure the tow truck was on time, the dispatch told me the truck will be on time. One hour after the scheduled pick up time, no tow truck. I called again to find out if they had forgot, the dispatch person told me that the tow truck had just left the tow yard and should be at my location soon. I waited another hour and no tow truck, so I called again and the dispatch person said the tow truck was rerouted to another customer the RCMP, apparently a more important customer than me, even though I had pre-booked the tow. I asked the dispatcher why she did not call me and at least tell me the truck was rerouted. She apologized about not informing me and the truck would be at my location shortly. I am writing this at 3 hours and 20 minutes after the booked time and still no tow truck. Do yourself a favour, if your in a rush or organized don't use Clover Towing! Poor customer service. Five minutes after writing this the tow truck driver called to informed me he will be 5 minutes. I guess better late than not showing up at all! Wow very painful, I don't usually complain but that's 3.5 hours I will never get back. After 2+ hours I called again, still had not dispatched a tow truck. No courtesy call, or text message from them. Insurance company said they won't cover any towing because we didn't have collision and we needed to bring it to insurance company ( tow truck driver scammed us ) Clover wouldn't let us take our car from their shop without paying a fee. Absolute scammers! Just looking to pad their pockets - check your bill and complain. I was involved in an accident last week in Surrey and wanted my car to get towed to my house so I could remove my personal belongings and deal with my claim with ICBC. I called for a tow truck from another company I have used in the past. Clover arrives and tells me I have to cancel the other company because Clover has to be the one to take my car if the accident was in Surrey because they are the City of Surrey contractor. The driver then refused to tow my car to my house. He insisted that he had to tow my car to Clover's yard. In Langley! Why is my car being towed to another city?! The adjuster I have been dealing with has informed me that Clover had no right to refuse to take my car to my house when I requested. In fact, they had no right to tell me I couldn't have my car towed by whichever company I wanted! Not only has it made it more difficult for me to get my personal belongings out of my car, but the bill for the tow is much more than it should have been! Apparently the charges for the tow get broken down by distance - so the further the tow the more expensive the bill. So instead of taking my car to my house in Surrey, Clover insisted it had to be towed across Surrey into Langley. How many people are they doing this to?? Don't use this company. Call someone else! And don't let them bully you into using them like I did. If you are towed by Clover, make sure to check your bill and question why you had to be towed out of the City and complain about it. They should not be able to take your car wherever they want so that you have to pay more because they are greedy scammers. Don't use this company. They charged me $220 for a 38 km tow. The more items that used to tow my pickup the more expensive it got. All other tow companies have a ceiling of approximately $150 for in Town Towing. When I had a discrepancy about a certain charge on the bill the general manager called me a liar. Johnny in truck #44 rocks. GREAT customer service. BCAA told me up to an hour wait, Johnny arrived in 35 minutes. Plan A was to tow me from Langley to Chilliwack, but the boss wanted to try a local place first, to save on towing. We went to Canadian Tire but those morons couldn't even look at the van for 4 hours, so we went back to plan A. Not even a hint of complaint from Johnny for the run around. Had a great conversation with him on the drive out to "the wack". Clover's per/km rates are $.50/km less another BCAA contractor on the north side of the Fraser that I had to use recently. He not only quickly and proficiently towed my truck to the shop I requested, but he also gave me and my dog a ride home since I would otherwise have to take a long cab ride. Still waiting in the car for a flatbed.. Our 03 Subaru Impreza overheated this morning just before 9am and we needed to have it towed to the shop. Called BCAA and we were told it would be about a 2.5 hr wait for a flatbed as the flatbed driver does not start till 11. We decided hey, they BCAA driver last time was so amazing and patient and towed the car with just the regular truck, it should be okay. The driver that showed up, Matt from Clover Towing seemed so arrogant he didn't even check the height of the car. You think he would maybe back up to the car slowly, check the heights.. adjust anything if needed. Literally comes back at full speed without checking anything, rips the lip off of the car then when we yelled and he was like oh.. he tried to just pull out and started ripping the bumper off. So again were yelling STOP!!! He somewhat tried to fix what he had done, made some comment about " what, did you do these mods yourself? " really not what you say to the couple who is already pissed about your service. Anyways he finally gave up realizing he fully broke the clips and said "yeah I can't tow this, I don't want to try I'll probably pierce the oil pan." Why would he not examine the situation before backing up and damaging our car? On top of all of these problems the light that he threw on top of the car left some nice long scratches when he pulled them off. Matt told us sorry and he would have a flatbed sent out as soon as possible, should be about 20-30 minutes. Here we are, still waiting.. I've never used their service, but watch out for their drivers- absolutely horrified with how one was driving tonight. I saw the tow truck run a red light, going well over 100km in a 60km zone. The truck then proceeded to nearly run me out of my lane, merging into MY lane when I was beside the truck. When I honked he kept merging until I slowed enough for him to be ahead of me. The truck was swerving and tailgating cars. These people need to get their drivers in order before they kill someone. read more
