Amazing Winery! We were in town visiting family and decided to give this place a try! It is family owned and we were greeted by the wife of the couple that owned the place when we walked in. During our time here, the husband came by and greeted up. It made the experience very fun! The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable. We were limited to two tastings which was perfect to get a taste of their wines. We ended up buying a bottle when we left! Overall atmosphere was very nice and updated. The owner said during the warmer months, he would bring some old school cars and have them parked near the vineyard! Which is very cool! read more

First time trying this vineyard. Surrounded by grapes vines and lavender fields, it makes a very relaxing day. We showed up within an hour of closing, but were greeted and served without issue. We sat outside and opted for the wine flight so we tasted 10 different wines. All of the wines were very good with only a few being overly sweet or overly tart. We also got a $5 dollar off coupon from the wine tasting which we used towards buying two bottles of wine. They have a decent selection of wine to choose from and all of the bottles range from mid $20-30. read more

Happened to drive by Clover Pond on a Sunday afternoon and Decided to stop in - so glad that we did! We sat outside on the tables facing the beautiful vineyard and adorned with vintage cars. We enjoyed flights provided by very knowledgeable staff and a large cheese board.. The owner happened to be present and stopped at our table to talk for a long while. I have to applaud the owners of Clover Pond Vineyard for having a plan, sticking to it, and delivering impressive results. They have been working on the vineyard for several years, and they did their homework. If you check out their wines, and the grapes they grow (all wines are made from their own grapes), you may find varieties you don't immediately recognize, thereby allowing them to stand out among other wineries. The interior and exterior are as welcoming as everyone working there. And for the outside seating and view - well, come early during peak foliage season, or perhaps make a reservation in advance. The one thing I wish they could tweak is the parking, which is slanted parking essentially in a circle around decorations. I found it awkward, and I had to check several times whether my front tires were going off the edge of the asphalt, or whether the back of my car was sticking out too far. That might cause some congestion during periods of higher attendance (which I hope they get!). Beyond that - go, experience it, see if you like their wines. read more

Perfect spot for our book club meeting over some flights of wine. Warmly greeted as I arrived to meet my group, they let us combine tables to all sit together. Love the option of selecting your flight and enjoying it at your table at your own pace. Great variety of white, rose, and red wines at different sweetness levels. Beautiful inside and outside of the building. Grabbed a bottle of white wine to go, a nice perk of the flight was a $5 off one bottle coupon! Had a great tour of the winery and did a tasting. Really liked some of the wines and bought a couple of bottles. Owner seems to run it as a hobby but is knowledgeable and takes it very seriously. They use modern techniques and have a wide selection of reds, whites, and roses. Recommend the tour and tasting. A fun couple of hours in Schenectady's backyard. read more

Had a wonderful flight of wine here along with a small plate of cheese and other goodies. The weather was nice so we were able to sit outside overlooking the beautiful vineyards. Wonderful spot to enjoy an afternoon tasting wine. The location is beautiful especially if you chose to sit outside. There are a handful of picnic tables with umbrellas overlooking the vineyard- you forget you are in Guilderland! The building itself is so aesthetically pleasing and you can't go wrong sitting inside either. We opted to try a flight of their available wines (5 chosen daily) and ended up buying 2 bottles. The small tasting plate was a great addition with cheeses, crackers, berries, dried fruit, and a delicious chocolate with their logo- it's the small touches! We are so glad they are open and that the wines are fantastic! We will be back. read more

Beautiful vineyard and the old cars were really cool too. The prices were very fair. The plates of food were good to snack on and we ended up going home with so much wine because It was so good! This place was awesome and cute and great place to chill. The issues were the wine. It was OK. Their menu pointed out which were dry wines. We went with a large group of winos who know our wines. None of them were dry even though advertised that way (according to everyone in our party). Service was nice. Place was spot on. I found one wine that was acceptable, but not what I usually drink. Had a nice time. If the wine, which you are going for, would have just been better... I gave an extra star for the center and hospitality. read more

Make reservations for a very informative one hour tour of the winery. One of the owners guided us through the vineyard and wine processing area explaining winemaking from the planting of vines to bottling the finished product. The facilities and building are impeccably clean with an obvious attention to detail. We followed up with a wine tasting of five wines selected by the vineyard and their food plate. There is seating both inside and outside overlooking the vineyard. They are currently only open on weekends. What a great way to spend a couple hours touring the vineyard or just enjoying a glass or two of wine. You won't be disappointed! read more
