We love this place!!! We visit the area often from NYC and met someone at the Saratoga Farmers Market who provides cheese for the cheese plates at Victory View so we went. We have been coming back ever since. Gerry and his Wife are so knowledgeable and pleasant. Gerry usually does our tastings and he explains the different varieties of grapes and what the wine pairs with. Get the cheese plate too. The cheese comes from Argyle Dairy right down the road(we stop there too)! We always leave with a case of wine after a visit. I especially like the fieldstone white, it is a clean dry white. My Husband loved one of the newer reds, excelsior. It is a lovely way to spend an afternoon under the trees with a glass of wine in hand!! Make sure to say hi to Gerry!

This is a gem. It is a breathtakingly beautiful property. Our server Brian was so knowledgeable and willing to share so much valuable and interesting information of the grapes and the wine making process. The wine is so delicious. The tables are much more then 6ft apart everyone wore masks. I can't wait to go back and to have an occasion that would call to have an event there.

What a wonderful time we had this afternoon at Victory View Vinyard! We were seated at an outdoor table with our dog with ample distance from other patrons and it was not overly crowded. Our table provided the perfect view of the vineyard, the barns, and the mountains in the distance. The wines were great -- all wines on the list are included in the $8 tasting and pours were about 2 ounces. The guide explained all of the wines to us and answered all our questions. We also ordered a $7 cheese plate which had local cheese curds, crackers and pretzels, grapes from the vineyard, olives, and tomatoes. We ended up buying 6 bottles of wine and would definitely return.

The tasting room is beautiful, clean, and there is a ton of bar seating as well as tables, and more tables outside. Upon walking in, there's a sign to wait for the hostess to seat you. Since we came for a tasting, we were seated at the bar. We looked forward to the standard tasting (7, 3/4 oz pours), but found out once we were seated that they weren't doing those that day because they were busier earlier in the day. Instead, they offered us a flight (4, 2oz pours) for $15. However the glasses didn't have lines on them and the pours we got were significantly less than the couple next to us who were served by a different person. As far as the wines, they had a variety of sweet and dry, red and white, but I didn't find any that I loved. If I lived in the area I would definitely come back for the atmosphere, since this seems like a great space for events, or with friends since they have a large selection of wines. I also felt like the staff were helpful and friendly too.

The bar tender, Noah, was impressive and friendly in that he knew his liquor stock very well, and could explain the flavor intricacies of the various types of bourbon, vodka, and gins. They also offer some non,-alcoholic beverages for the "designated driver" of the group too. We watched Noah make everything from regular and "dirty martinis" with fresh ingredients, as well as one drink where he used a butane lighter and some tiny cedar chips in a straining tool above the drink to give it a fresh, authentic smoky look and flavor. Noah knows his stuff!!!!! The patrons were friendly, diverse, and easy to socialize with if you chose to do so. The establishment is pet friendly for "socialized pets" with a water bowl outside the establishment and some free Milkbone treats inside. Keep in mind that this establishment is a "tasting room" with the majority of products from the New Scotland Distillery, but there are other options. Just don't expect to get a Bud Light Draft or food here. The only downside is that parking in the Lark Steet and State Street location is difficult to obtain without some effort, but we managed to park our vehicles 2 blocks away. This is not a direct criticism of the establishment because the experience is well worth this minor potential inconvenience. We would definitely go back there again, especially for the specialty drinks or the flights and half flights of their bourbon and vodka products. Thank you once again, Noah, for a pleasant and educational evening!!!

What a beautiful property! Awesome vibe in the tasting room-a rustic, cool space with a few spots at the bar, a couple of tables and comfy leather chairs. If there isn't a pop-up dinner happening, there is a small menu of light fare to pair with your glass of wine. The wines are truly local-the owners will explain the varieties, the kinds of grapes required for the climate in northern NY and more. While the owners are transplants from Minnesota, they've been in this neck of the woods for years and raised their kids here. A lovely husband and wife team, they have done amazing things with this property. It's gorgeous. There's also a restored cabin on the grounds that they're looking to rent/air bnb. We were lucky enough to get a tour of the cabin's interior and the 8 years of painstaking work is apparent. Yes-they are a Capstone award winner for this wonderful restoration! Go for the wines, hospitality and chill vibe. Sometimes there is live music as well.
