Overall great product availability, pricing, packaging, and polite customer service - just not sure…read moreif I agree with one of their shipping policies. TL;DR is that I put in a futures order for 6 bottles of Argiano Brunello Di Montalcino (Wine Spectator #1 wine of 2023) back in February 2024. When it became available for delivery in late June, I asked the shipment to be put on hold for as long as necessary because there was a heat wave coming (i.e., 88+ degrees on the scheduled delivery date). However, the bottles were still shipped out, and when I asked why, I was told the shipment was released after the weather had been taken into account at the recommendation of the wine experts. (Note that in a follow-up email, they indicated anything up to 90 degrees is policy and considered safe for shipping.) Candidly, that sounds intuitively high to me as I've had numerous shipments put on hold in temperatures lower than that (i.e., my primary Napa wine club won't ship over 80 degrees) as UPS/FedEx trucks are effectively non-refrigerated metal boxes, so the backs of the trucks can easily get to 110-120F when the ambient temperature is ~90F. If this is not a concern to you, would totally recommend the store, but if you are a bit conservative, in the abundance of caution, I would recommend keeping this in mind.

Minogue's is the oldest continuously family-owned and operated beer distributor in New York State…read more Minogue's is a 4th generation family business with 4 different locations (Malta, Queensbury, Saratoga, and Wilton) in the Saratoga Springs area. This particular location is located on West Avenue in Saratoga Springs, just south of Church Street / Rte. 9N. I usually stop at this Minogue's to pick up some Saratoga Sparkling Water, in the dark blue bottles, whenever I visit my Dad. The health benefits of this bottled water are well documented, and the 140 year-old history of America's finest spring water, bottled on the shores of Geyser Lake in Saratoga Springs, is legendary. Above and beyond the bottled water, Minogue's is known for craft beer. Lots and lots of different styles of craft beer. You can walk the aisles to see the displays of hundreds of different types of craft beer, and then you can purchase the beer by the individual bottle, or the 6-pack, or by the case. Many of the beers are sold from refrigerated coolers as well. The folks working at Minogue's will be able to tell you when a new release of craft beer is due into their store, and the true beer aficionados will be there on opening day. You can also purchase your beer by the keg (1/6th keg, 1/4 keg, and 1/2 kegs too), complete with taps and cold plate systems for rental. And if that's a bit too much beer for you, Minogue's has over a dozen growler faucets to sell fresh draft beer. They will fill any standard 32 oz., 64 oz., or 2 ltr. growler. Minogue's also sells sodas, juices, mixers, and hard liquor, so you can imagine that this shop gets plenty busy towards the end of the work day. This is also the place to get your snacks, lottery tickets, cigars, cigarettes, Roll-Your-Own tobacco and supplies, and e-cigs. I'm a frequent customer of Minogue's when I'm in Saratoga Springs, and I enjoy wandering the aisles to look at all of the different craft beers.
