The barn was full of thoroughbred yearlings from some of the best sires and dams in racing history. We met trainer Kevin Notlemeyer and were very impressed with his knowledge and willingness to share how these unruly babies become conditioned and ready to move on to the next step in training for their racing careers. The grooms and exercise riders worked like a well oiled machine. Their skill, professionalism and teamwork was a treat to watch. We felt very blessed to have gotten a peek into this first-class operation. I could have spent the entire day on-site and hope to get the opportunity to make another visit.

Red flag as to ethics! The board arrangement is such they apply your first month to the next full…read moremonth then they back charge you days from the partial month you arrived in at very inflated day rate. Then they do this again when you leave. You end of paying for many days (8 in our case plus inflated day rate for partial months) that your horse was not present on their farm. On pick up, they claimed they overshot the pick up location because "we could not reach you" and wanted more money to circle back. It was an hour circle back- assuming any of this was true- we agreed on fuel money for truck and 4H not a semi for the circle back. They charged additonal $700 which raised the cost of the haul by 50%!!!! After horse arrived, we asked for photos. They came 3 weeks later and were taken from far away. Her front feet looked high/ low when she did not have this condition when picked up. When you question anything, they gaslight you. Buyer beware of this place.
