Stay FAR away from these crooks. I've attached 2 of the 3 estimates they provided and one email communication from the owner, Kevin Gill. Each time they are "ready" to come out to drill they send out a new estimate and claim "the cost of gas" has gone up 148% since last year and now they need to make sure they cover those costs in the new estimate. Kevin Gill is the owner and I have no idea where he went to business school, but his business ethics and procedures need to be reviewed. When I spoke to Helen in the main office and mentioned that I will need to review the 3rd estimate before I can agree to do business with them, she said she would go ahead and email me the invoice. Shortly after my call with Helen I received a voicemail from Kevin where he wanted me to call him back so he can explain the reasoning behind the newly increased estimate (which I still have yet to see) and that he wouldn't send me the estimate until we had spoken. Its 2022 and I have to wait for this man to explain to me the newly added charges before they can send me the estimate, again? When I told the office that I did not want to speak with Kevin, and that the estimate should explain and outline all of the charges for the job without needing an explanation from Kevin, I got an email (also attached) from Kevin with one sentence "We have made the decision to pass on doing your well project." I started working with Clouser Drilling in April 2021 and over a year later they want to "pass on doing our well project" because Kevin isn't happy that I won't listen to his explanation of charges? I have never worked with a company that is so backwards and controlling over their customers wallets and personal decisions. Before you choose to do business with this company, please take a look at the estimates I provided and see how the rates jump for other supplies like the pipes and then at the bottom you can see the rate of the "State of Oregon Start Card Fee and Administration Fees" went from $250 to $700 in less than a year. Who know what the 3rd estimate would have said. I hope this review helped save you from all of the treacherous back and forth I had to endure with these crooks and may your journey to building a new well be better than mine. I have contacted the BBB, the contractors board of Oregon and our local chamber of commerce to make sure the citizens of Jackson County are not being bamboozled by these crooks. read more
