He gave me an estimate for a new pump and system, as he said the pump is old and now has sustained damage, but he didn't try to convince me to buy a new system today, which would have been difficult for me. I am so grateful for the quick response, the effort to fix the pump rather than telling me I just needed a new one, and the courteous service. Something that should have taken no longer than three weeks has gone well over three months. Not sure why it's taking long since they routinely send out two guys to do the same job after each tiny portion of work is done incorrectly by first crew. They sent guys to do a flooring and didn't order enough materials - utter incompetence.. Had guys try to start work that wasn't approved due to lack of progress on first portion of the project. Lack of communication was inexcusable- expecting us to remain on standby in case they show up to work for a few hours, then not showing up at all. Lack of respect all around. Our doors were left open while they worked in our home and it ended up full of flies twice. They failed to secure our residence when leaving the home. They never laid paper down nor wore construction booties to protect our living space, so they tracked dust and mess everywhere. Came home to construction noise only, then had workers think it was okay to playing music and singing along. Had doors labeled "do not enter" and workers opened doors and entered rooms anyway. They left our lights on and we asked them to make sure they are turned off. They turned on extra lights and continue to leave them on each time. They worked here. When they would book an appointment to review their work and have things fixed that were still wrong, they never showed up on time. Their lack of professionalism, lack of common courtesy, utter disregard for customer private spaces and home sanctity is mind boggling. I don't recommend this company at all.

Our heat pump went out Sunday afternoon. Temperature was over 100. Looked up HVAC service near by…read more Janhke H&A was local. Website offered 24 hour contact. We texted and explained problem. AI explained that weekend service was available, but it would cost more. We called back Monday at 0800. A technician, Eric arrived within an hour. He covered his shoes and checked our hvac system. He explained that the fan on our 26 year old system froze up and had to be replaced. He explained what replacement would entail and provided an estimate for the repair. Since our hvac is 26-years old we asked him about replacing whole system. Eric said he could only give us information about fixing what was broken and another tech would have to talk to us about whole hvac replacement. Bobby arrived about 2 hours later. We researched CR for recommended whole hvac replacement before Bobby arrived. We knew what CR said about quality and pricing before he arrived. Eric had briefed Bobby and he knew where everything was. He rechecked everything and discussed with us parts and labor. Bobby covered his shoes also. Replacement was expensive. CR recommended getting repairs if you could due to costs, but in our case our hvac was on its last legs. And temps in triple digits were expected. The system was top rated and the cost was reasonable. Veteran's discount were applied. And we got a hospital rated filter too. Next morning at 0800 Zack arrived within two other techs. The covered their shoes, put canvas over all the floors and by 1600 all new systems were in place, inspected and Zack provided tutorials on maintenance and use of thermostat. I recommend Janhke H&A 110% . I could not imagine more professional and considerate service. 0% financing is also available.

I've had two call outs and three projects handled by Accurate. The first time I called them because…read morethey are one of the few that can do a locate and help find where a leak is occurring. When they came to my house to do that it was so obvious during the test that the leak location was found very quickly and with very little of their gas being used. Even though the estimate and agreed upon price for that service was higher they charged me less than we agreed on and also got me scheduled to have their guys come fix it. They told me they could get access without using a vacuum truck which would result in my not only paying for that equipment but then having to purchase dirt to refill the hole it would create. Quickly two guys were dispatched to my house, they dug up the bad pipe and patched it with putting in a little detour to avoid the issue that caused it to break in the first place. My second dealing with them was through my home warranty company. When I saw Accurate was assigned I was elated to know a qualified person would be handling it and I could expect it to be fixed right without me having to argue with the warranty company for hours. They came and assessed that I needed a new water heater and also helped address a leaky drain in my kitchen sink. It took the warranty company a few days to approve the claim and then Accurate worked hard to expedite getting me back on the schedule to do the work. The plumber that came back, Matt, was the same one that came to do the pipe from the locate job. He remembered some of the things we discussed and I enjoyed chatting with him while he fixed the issues. The work was done right the first time and in a very friendly manner. Everyone I've encountered from Accurate has been professional, kind, and I've felt as if they treated my home and projects with the same amount of care and respect as they would on their own homes or a family members. When Matt saw my drain was cross threaded and the appropriate piece wouldn't attach correctly he replaced the entire drain instead of the one part that actually needed it in order to the job right, not just get it done. I wouldn't hesitate to call Accurate for any future plumbing issues that come up and certainly hope if I put in any more claims on the home warranty that they are the ones assigned to the ticket.

Geothermal…read moreclimate control systems pencil out.  Initial costs are higher than the more common options but they quickly pay for themselves with low operating costs and exceptional system efficiency. Our system hadn't been serviced since we bought the house 4 years ago.  The Grants Pass, OR based installer had retired and I had to find a knowledgeable alternate.  My challenge was finding a reliable maintenance company who truly understands these systems. My search led me to Mark Webb and Pacific Heating & Cooling of Medford/White City, OR.   While Pacific can handle the typical HVAC calls, Mark's company KNOWs Geo; installation and service. When my system started having trouble producing heat, I called Pacific in for the maintenance.  Now Merlin, at 40+ miles away, is well out of Pacific's normal service area but Mark found time to fit us in quickly.  Mark's communication was excellent (timely texts to confirm the appointment, tell me he was on the way, about to arrive etc).  He was punctual.  He expertly evaluated the system, executed multiple maintenance procedures and repairs, replaced faulty components with OEM parts (who else carries "ClimateMaster" parts on the truck) and quickly had my system pumping out 91 degree air (up from 66) in no time.  Of equal benefit, he carefully explained GeoThermal theory to me simply and then provided web links to ClimateMaster maintenance info so I can handle basic maintenance like topping off coolant, burping the circulation pump, and identifying trouble codes in the future.  Nobody likes a surprise when the bill comes in and I won't divulge pricing but let me say that I was surprised ...PLEASANTLY ... the fee for service was significantly LOWER than my lowest estimate.  And he showed me some system design improvements to significantly improve the systems basic performance.  Now ... I don't write reviews unless the organization EARNS one.  In Mark's/Pacific's case ... for EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE and winning a LOYAL customer who will tell others "For HVAC or Geothermal installation or service ...  CALL PACIFIC" Hugh Griffiths Merlin/Hugo, Oregon.
