My family and I go to bass lake every year and we always come here for coffee and pastries throughout the trip. The staff is always very friendly and the espresso drinks are really good. The coffee and food here is amazing! I ordered a mocha and my wife ordered another drink that I do not remember. I also ordered their waffles and their burrito which were both great. I'd say the waffle probably isn't the most worth it, but the burrito is. The service was great, too. Friendly staff and was quick to arrive at the table. If you're in the area and looking for a hidden gem for food and/or coffee, this is it. Everything my husband and I had here was on point. The coffee and match tea lattes are excellent, but the real unexpected star is their food. Their breakfast burritos (chili verde is my favorite) and cookies (salted walnut chocolate chip) were so good we came back several times during our stay in the area just to experience them again. And the staff are super nice, even with our super loud and active kids running around. Great food and drinks, people, and tunes. Absolutely LOVED this coffee shop!! The drip is almost as good as the pour over! I'm always in search of delicious pour overs and Clouds Rest is way up there. The service was great and the place is small but cute. Get a coffee and grab a FANTASTIC breakfast burrito. We got the bacon and they were amazing. And bigger than expected. The barista was very nice, and the latte was pretty good, but the matcha was a bit underwhelming. Maybe they didn't fully dissolve the matcha powder in hot water before they added it to the milk? Won't recommend matcha, but feel free to try their coffees. The shop is quite nice as well. read more

A perfect Pre-Yosemite breakfast! We stopped by here twice during our stay in Oakhurst. The first before heading to Yosemite and the second on super snowy Saturday on our way out of town. Had the vanilla latte which was perfectly sweet. The Cherry almond bread was sweat and moist. The bacon burrito was also super flavorful. Also the people who work here are the NICEST. We got so many tips on both Yosemite and the correct way to drive out of Oakhurst during the storm. We will definitely be back in Oakhurst again and super excited to return. read more

only rating the food* service and atmosphere was okay, nothing bad but didn't come here for vibes. the matcha? the burrito? DELICIOUUUSSS! the burrito is prepacked so if you are trying to remove something you see inside that you don't like, unfortunately this is not possible. they give it a crispy grill to it and the prepacked is not to say it's frozen and bought from somewhere else but the nearby restaurant "Plazuelas" makes them and drops them off! So fresh and in (another) house. matcha was yummy! solid and delish. I had the orange one I forgot the name ;-; burrito was $15 and matcha was $7 these are the prices I believe they are worth if it goes up in the future I would say they are not worth more. I was greeted by a very friendly barista and ordered their "So Long, London" matcha drink with london fog flavoring...it was so delicious!! I'm from LA where a lot of coffee shops serve matcha and compete over their matcha drinks. I'm shook by how good the matcha drinks are here. I'd definitely come back here when I'm visiting Yosemite. Friendly staff, good cup of joe and yummy pastry - perfect start to the morning. When we first arrived around 7am, there weren't any pastries ready, so they told us maybe another 5-10 minutes for the coffee cake and banana bread. We weren't in a rush, so we said sure. Kind of strange that they did not accept the free drip coffee with checking in to the cafe. They said they didn't hear of it. It would probably be best that they situated that. Updated/new management within the last year - biggest change is the updated food menu. We had the avocado toast, bagel with cream cheese and thumbprint cookie. All were tasty and priced comparably to upscale coffee shops in larger areas. If you want a more filling or cheap breakfast, I would get a drink here and food elsewhere. Drinks were really good, syrups were good (including some house-made), and were made with locally roasted coffee. Service is always friendly and pretty quick. We arrived on a Saturday in early October about to make our way into Yosemite. It was packed. Line moved slowly and the baristas were trying their best to keep up. We ordered an americano and coffee and waited like 15 min. At some point my husband got tired of waiting and just asked for a coffee instead of his americano so that we could get out of there. Hopefully they figure out a way to make drinks more efficiently or maybe have two espresso stations. Parking is also not great. It's easy to find parking but it's a small lot that is uneven (patchy asphalt). read more

The store is located in a little plaza with a parking lot so parking was easy to find. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese, a carrot cake muffin and a gatsby tea (they said was a black tea with vanilla powder and steamed milk). Everything tasted good. I especially like the bagel. It was the perfect soft and chewiness. Due to the early Yosemite rush I assume, it can get quite crowded in the morning. The wait was a bit long. read more
