Because of that, Dr. Ankar actually came in on his day off specifically to evaluate what was going on. During that visit, he identified issues developing around two fillings I already had and made sure I was scheduled quickly to get everything taken care of. Today's visit was just as seamless. They are incredibly respectful of your time. The wait is minimal, they run on schedule, and you're not left sitting around wondering what's going on. That level of consideration alone sets them apart. From the moment you walk in, the tone is set perfectly. Tracie at the front desk is consistently warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. On the way out, she made sure everything was handled smoothly, and it's honestly refreshing to experience that level of customer service when so many places have let that standard slip. Megan was absolutely phenomenal. She has such a calming presence and takes the time to explain everything in a way that actually makes sense. You can tell she truly cares about the patient experience, not just going through the motions. What means the most to me is this: I've been a patient here since 2017, and before that, I went nearly 19 years without seeing a dentist. I was absolutely terrified my entire life of going. Walking into that first appointment at 42 years old, I carried a lot of fear and embarrassment with me. From that very first visit, Dr. Ankar and his team completely changed that for me. Not once have I ever been made to feel ashamed. Instead, they made me feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely cared for. I'm 51, and that fear I carried for decades? Gone. I have seen a number of dentist, from Dr. Dill, Dr. Garey to my most recent visit with a fairly new dentist, and he was remarkably comforting and extremely skilled for the bridge replacement I needed. Kyla, assisted in the care and was extremely caring and very sweet. She made the temporary bridge which fits very comfortable. Over the years I have had oral care twice a year, and there has been a number of different hygienist and they have all been wonderful. Most recently, Alesya, who was absolutely great. They were a great dentist office initially until I needed a major procedure. So, having many…read moresignificant dental issues throughout my life I ALWAYS ask for an insurance preauthorization, meaning the dentist office confirms benefits with the insurance company prior to starting any work to avoid any surprises. I was told we did this, I signed the estimate (told it was an insurance preauthorization) and we did the work. Six months later I received another large bill for the work, on top of the nearly $1,000 deductible I paid at the outset. It turns out the dentist DID NOT get a preauthorization for the work and I am now stuck with the excess bill. They did say "sorry" and said they would note that in the future we would always get pre-authorization for major work (too little, too late especially when I was told they did this), but, unfortunately, I am on the hook for the full short amount since it was only an estimate. Estimate I understand, big mistake caused by cutting corners at your customers expense, I will not accept. So now I am in for around $1,200 out of a $1,900 procedure. To be honest, I most likely would have shopped the procedure around other local dentist, delayed the work, or sought an alternative since $1,200 is not a small chunk of change. However the biggest problem now is that I no longer trust the dentist to do what they promise they will do and I can no longer trust them to be honest rather than cut corners at their customers expense. Unfortunately for them, I hold honesty and integrity to be some of the most important factors in dealing with a business, especially anything medical/dental since they are extremely important to my health and well-being, and wallet! In addition, while on the phone with the insurance company to dispute their underfunded insurance payment, I had to eat crow and apologize (for claiming they were committing fraud for stating they would cover said portion and then short paying) when they informed me that they never received a preauthorization and their portion was in line with our insurance policy. I was admittedly short and terse with them since I truly believed I had a preauthorization. That was a 45 minute, back and forth waste of time, where the poor agent was subjected to me accusing them of pre-authorizing a procedure they would never cover in the first place (at least to the extent the dentist said they would). BEWARE WHEN CHOOSING THIS DENTIST AS THEY MAY NOT DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY WILL DO!

They are in network with my insurance so mostly everything is covered. Twice they have tried to make me pay like a copay in the system because of how something was fixed in the system but both times my issue was resolved with no problem. I live in Atlanta now but I still choose to come here sometimes when I'm in town. I just call and see if they have availability and they get me through the door. They are very informative and helpful. I also went through them to get my wisdom teeth removed before my braces got too far along. The process was smooth and my insurance didn't cover it all so they helped me do a payment plan. Also they are helping me transfer to the office in Atlanta near me with no problem. Lastly the staff is very nice and answer any questions you have.
