The service was good. I went for their lunch special, which you get a drink order of spring rolls and a portion of noodles of your choice. The customer service was great and the inside was a moderately quiet level as I went on a Friday at 1:30.

Our table of four rolled up right before closing (15 min late to our reservation) and we were able to be seated with a gentle reminder that the kitchen would be closing soon (totally understandable). We were taken care of swiftly and didn't feel rushed at all (we tried to be considerate. We were one of two or three tables at this point of the night). I've had takeout from here before and liked it (one of the Thai dishes). My veggie sushi roll when I dined was perfect. Service was perfect. The only thing I wished for was a few more vegan options on the menu as I expect a little more variety at an Asian fusion restaurant. Cute front patio set up too, when al fresco dining is on the brain.

We were looking for a place to eat before skipping town that could accommodate a small group (6…read moreadults and a baby) and a dog. We went across the street and they didn't allow dogs on the patio so a quick Yelp search led us to Jack Beagles. With a dog in the name, I figured it would be dog friendly and I was right... it's event dog friendly inside which was great since we had the baby and it was hot out. They were happy to seat us in the dining room and since breakfast was about to end and lunch was about to start, we had the option of both. Some ordered breakfast and a few of us order the tenders because our server said it was one of the most popular items. I don't normally go for tenders at a new place, but they had garlic parm which drew me in. They were pretty great and served with waffle fries. My buddy got this massive burger that I was eyeing as well and I had a little bit of food envy when it came out. It was called The Big Bear and was sporting 2 Patties, 2 X Bacon, 2 x White American Cheese, Pickled Jalapeno, and Chipotle Aioli. I would definitely try that next time. Only odd thing was that when the burger came out, my buddy asked for a knife other than a butter knife to cut it since it was so big. Instead of offering to bring it to the kitchen to cut it, she came out from the back to say they don't have any steak knives and the only sharp ones are with the cook. No big deal, but a little odd. Anyway, we had a great lunch before hitting the road that accommodated all of our needs.

Our visit happened to be during Charlotte Hot Chicken Week so of course we had to try their special! For only $8 you could get the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was really good! The Chicken was nice and crispy, not too spicy and the thick cut pickles really brought it all together. Also enjoyed were the Botz burger and cheese fries. I loved how they choose to serve waffle fries over regular fries. There is just so much texture and flavor going on there. They have a big menu of mac and cheese dishes that sound super interesting so maybe we'll try that next!

I have eaten here a few times, the food is very good, Ahi Salad is one of my favorites…read more However recently I met a couples friends for lunch. When we arrived there were two young men at the host stand, one was just walking away to seat a party. When we approached the the first thing I noticed was the young man standing there was not wearing a black T-shirt like the rest of the staff, it was a baby blue shirt that appeared fairly well worn, next his hair which was hanging in his face and appeared to be in need of a brush or comb. We told him we wanted to sit on the patio, he looked a bit confused. About that time the other young man returned, we repeated our desire and he first told the other young man where he was going to seat us and proceeded to seat us himself. We had not seen each other for a while so we were catching up, after a time we had not been approached by a server, servers passed by taking care of other tables. It wasn't really very busy, we started look around and finally I got up went to host stand where the two young men and 2 female servers were standing. I walked up and asked, " does this table have server" pointing to our table all 4 answered yes, I replied "then I'd like to see one" and returned to the table. Almost immediately one of the servers approached the table and immediately apologized and said that when the table was sat there was not a server assigned. Now I worked for years in the restaurant business, as a server, bartender, host and also manager. First the one young man with the hair(all three of us commented on his hair) it was unkempt and hanging in his face, the fact that he was not asked if he had a black shirt to wear, I understood immediately that he was in training, but the host stand is a customer's first impression, he was not a good one. Second for a host to seat a party at a table knowing that table had no server yet for it, then not immediately letting someone know baffled me. Your restaurant has a good reputation however if this had been my first time I would not have been impressed. You are better than this!
