She goes over how you've been doing each time and she will check in with you over Facebook if you'd like in between sessions or if you have questions. I won't go to anyone else even with the long drive. I'd bring my cat, too if she ever was in need, because Kim also Reiki's animals. She's an amazing woman and I'm very grateful to have found her. The reviews were good so I checked it out and Miss Ann (the owner's mom) was so beautiful inside and out and welcoming and knowledgeable and just made me feel the essence of the store! It is a perfect store for anyone who is in tune spiritually already or starting to come into their spirit as a beginner. I had thee best time in the store picking up my stones, sage and palo santo and reading what my stones would bring me. I was familiar with a few but I came across some new gems that had to be picked up. Miss Ann answered my questions, we laughed about all kinds of things and we even hugged on my way out. She doesn't even know how warm, kind, loving, bright her energy is and how much of it she poured into me during my visit. I told her that she was beautiful and that if her daughter (the owner) was half as amazing as she is then she will keep so many people happy within their lives. More like a 3/5 which was surprising to me as I've had 10 prenatal massages total and for $160/60min, that's by far the steepest I've ever paid and walked away with a few new pains in my shoulders and back :( I'm sad about that but again, facility is great.

I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. I've seen such drastic improvements that I genuinely feel like I have a new baseline. I feel so much more in control of my anxiety now and honestly like a completely different person than I was just a few months ago. It's been truly life changing. They really know their stuff---technique, anatomy, muscles involved, etc. I was surprised at the precision, I was expecting a warm towel and just some general kneading in the area.
