My worst salon experience yet! I went in for a double process to get my roots retouched. I have been bleaching my hair for about 3 years and have a full head of ash blonde. I have gotten multiple retouches, and this was not the experience a root retouch should be. You should not have a chemical burn from a normal salon visit. I was told my stylist was a level 4 "expert". I had told my stylist the bleach was starting to burn, she responded with "Let me finish the back". I requested her to wash it out twice! At this point my scalp was on fire. I went to the wash station and started rubbing my forehead as my skin was red and irritated. When leaving she only apologized for the fact that I could not handle the bleach for longer. She did not acknowledge or apologize for the damage done to my skin I now have a painful burn on my scalp that has not healed. It's been a couple days and my hairline is red with multiple scabs. I will not be returning and want to bring awareness to potential customers. Please beware! read more

My favorite and only place I get my hair done. I am a natural dark brown almost black and I am blonde as can be. My stylist is named Ali and she is so sweet. And knows what she's doing. She makes it a perfect even shade everytime and I have little to no breakage and my hair is so healthy it's growing so fast despite the fact I get it bleached every month. I would highly recommend. I can't tell you how happy I am with this salon. I went in a couple days ago to get my hair colored and cut. It turned out beautiful. However, there was a slight difference between my roots and the rest of my hair. I called and they squeezed me in to get it fixed right away. I found this place last minute and I booked an appointment for my sister-in-law. The aesthetic is upscale, yet comfortable. The receptionist was also very nice and my sister-in-law had a great experience with her stylist! 4/5 stars because the initial waiting area awash pretty awkward and uncomfortable. I also had my toddler with me and we waited about 30-45min during the haircut. I wish the receptionist had invited us to sit in the back-waiting area where they have their spa; we also could've waited in the car.....maybe I'm being selfish. Well darn it, I used to love this salon and I thought maybe my last review from 12 months ago was just a fluke because I've been going there for years prior, but after a scathing review last year, the owner followed up at the end of her response with " I'm glad you and your daughter were satisfied?? "‍. I attempted to reach out last week just hoping that the experience was a one time deal they made the appointment knowing my daughter was going to get her hair colored after I sent them photos of what she would like to do. These were the responses from the owner after putting me down for an appointment. I then responded that I was able to make a mid-March appointment, and I had responded twice due to their lack of getting back to me. Today I decided to call and spoke with the receptionist who had no idea what this world changing product was that they were waiting for and once I gave her my daughter's name she did what I had thought was look at the notes, because she paused on the phone paused and said I'll have to talk to the owner and get back with you, assuring me, it would be before . The final photo is of me placing a call to them this afternoon and no one answered up until their closing time at five. I stayed on that phone for 20 plus minutes on hold. I feel like I'm being avoided and it's really sad. I was hoping this new experience would be a good one that I could post about and apologize that this one time scathing review I did 12 months ago was a fluke, but it clearly was not. The owner is still providing very crappy service still giving me excuses other than being direct with me and saying we don't want you as a customer. So they once again made the client feel like they did something bad. How do they "prefer to use a specific product " that they say won't be available in Arizona until mid-March??? read more

Had a haircut with Heather about a month ago. She was very social and outgoing and when I explained the haircut I wanted (with several pictures), she said she knew exactly what I was looking for because she too has fine hair. She proceeded to cut a chin length bob for a cut that was intended to be at my shoulders. I was pretty disappointed, as I've tried several different stylist after Courtney left and struggled to find someone that would listen to what I wanted for my haircut. Ultimately, I received the haircut the stylist personally had. Although we can both have fine hair and the stylist looked great with the cut, it doesn't mean we have to have the same haircut. Additionally, I also get a few layers for movement but have so many layers that my hair is thin and stringy after the haircut. Definitely a far cry from what the pictures show. I called and spoke with the owner and explained the situation. She was very understanding and apologetic about the poor experience. She said she wanted to make it right and offered to refund half the haircut cost. She needed to have someone else contact me about processing the partial credit, which happened the following week. Unfortunately, I never received the refund that the owner offered, which leaves a bit of a sour taste after a poorly executed haircut. Don't offer a partial refund if you're not going to ensure the transaction is handled; it's just basic customer service. read more

My husband gifted me a spa day at cloud nine and it was mostly very nice! They had a package that included a facial, massage, mani pedi, and lunch. Even though this place feels a little more like a salon, they have you change into a robe and slippers for the spa day experience, which is kinda nice. The facial was amazing and very relaxing. The mani pedi were good as well. I had a salad for lunch, which was tasty. The person directing the services was helpful and friendly. The massage was definitely the low point. This was awhile ago, but the lady who was doing the massage asked where I had tension and I told her and then she pretty much totally ignored those areas. The pressure was very light and the person giving the massage tried to talk the whole time.... About politics.... It was really uncomfortable. I'm not sure if that person is still there and I can't blame the salon for that. Overall, it was a good experience. read more

I went in for a scalp facial with Danielle. The service was incredible. First, she started by examining my scalp with a high powered magnifying glass. She was able to see where I had build up, where I had stress marks, where my blood vessels were hidden, etc. It was really neat to see the scalp so closely. Then she worked through the scalp, stimulating the blood vessels. Danielle was very precise and clearly knew what she was doing to promote a healthy scalp. Then, we went into the spa room where Danielle gave me a hair mask, while giving me a mini facial and arm massage. We finished by shampooing, blowing dry, and styling. It was quite the treat!!
