A few months later, the "free quick fixes" had outlived their life, and I actually needed someone to come see me ($99 service call). It took Phillip 3 minutes to diagnose my problem, and offer a solution. He had the gear in the truck and 30 minutes later, it was completely repaired. I had asked Phillip, what I pay you to repair this plus the service call fee, and it doesn't work. With all of the assurance he could muster, he simply said, "That's the problem. That's the fix. It will work, period". I love when a professional who sees similar problems dozens of times a day doesn't try to bamboozle you, take advantage, or upsell you. "This is the problem, this is the fix, it will work. Period". BTW... Phillip is the 3rd company I had talked to. One company wanted to rewire my entire garage, and sell me an entire new lift kit... $8000.00. I won't name them. The 2nd company said, "$6000 but your wiring might not be a problem". This time, he did say part of the house was higher a little bit, but that it should settle on its own in a few months and that they would come back out and check it again at that time. My technician, Blake, arrived right on time. Blake did a very thorough and professional job. My garage door had become noisy so he checked everything and ended up replacing the springs and the rollers. He checked the opener itself and lubricated it. He lubricated the hinges in the door. The result was a very quiet open and close, and I was very happy. This family owned business is one of the best in the Dallas area and deserves support.
