We asked about 4 contractors to quote to replace our deck boards, railing and steps while reusing our 6x6 pressure treated post. Dan's quote was both competitive and fair which turned out to be the best option for us. We were glad to find that Dan's helpful and patient manner with all potential deck design options were seriously taken into consideration. He addressed our requests accurately and politely while working up our quote. His crew was obviously well skilled and well managed which served to ensure a quality job for us. As the crew were demoing our old deck they found that most of our pressure treated 6x6 post were up to 65% rotted out due to ground contact - fortunately our deck joist were still in great shape and could be reused. Dan advised how the extra work would affect the job and we were very happy with his adjustment to the original quote (he was most fair). Dan's no-pressure style with the job was a big part of helping us be confident that the job would turn out great during the build phase (which may be stressful to some). Bottom line - Dan did a great job for us at a fair price in a time window he said he would. The crew was very respectful and did a great job with the deck build and clean up afterwards.

Justin came out to give us an estimate and he and Dan started the work as soon as we could get them in our schedule. They had to shorten the metal rail that the chair runs along in order to install it. They also shortened and reinstalled the hand railing to another edge where it is very useful now. Once all this was done, they found that a chair lift part was malfunctioning. They took it upon themselves to troubleshoot first directly with the manufacturer and then organized a replacement part for us. We were up and running within a week (all this during Covid in April).
