Zufar also recommended a cabinet company that was able to provide custom wood cabinets at far less than the cabinets I had been looking at..I felt like this company wanted to do a good job and not upsell me on more than I wanted/ could afford. They tore out abs disposed of existing cabinets and appliances, installed new flooring, lights, repainted everything, installed a tile backsplash, the cabinets, and all new appliances. Even when things went awry, they remained calm and solved the problems. They worked hard to stay on schedule and deliver a beautiful kitchen. They will be my first call next time I need any work done.

It was time to redo our 25 year old pressure treated deck as the deck boards were beginning to…read morecrack and become troublesome for us for some time. We asked about 4 contractors to quote to replace our deck boards, railing and steps while reusing our 6x6 pressure treated post. Dan's quote was both competitive and fair which turned out to be the best option for us. We were glad to find that Dan's helpful and patient manner with all potential deck design options were seriously taken into consideration. He addressed our requests accurately and politely while working up our quote. His crew was obviously well skilled and well managed which served to ensure a quality job for us. As the crew were demoing our old deck they found that most of our pressure treated 6x6 post were up to 65% rotted out due to ground contact - fortunately our deck joist were still in great shape and could be reused. Dan advised how the extra work would affect the job and we were very happy with his adjustment to the original quote (he was most fair). Dan's no-pressure style with the job was a big part of helping us be confident that the job would turn out great during the build phase (which may be stressful to some). Bottom line - Dan did a great job for us at a fair price in a time window he said he would. The crew was very respectful and did a great job with the deck build and clean up afterwards.

I moved into a new home and found James to help with jobs that were not too small but not big enough to hire a big crew and pay the high price tag. He was the most perfect handyman who came with his magic wand!! James helped with the following things - - Wired flood light Re-installation, which was too high for me to reach (like 30 ft tall, at the corner top/near roof of the house) and the previous one was broken and barely hanging on. - Stairs hand rail reinstallation. The handle was becoming loose from the wall because it was installed incorrectly by the previous owners and fixer uppers - Dining room chandelier electrical wiring troubleshoot - Main entrance new door lock replacement and installation - Outer foyer stone rebalance and fill ins. I found James through a word of mouth and Thumbtack. I cannot say enough good things about this guy as he went above and beyond and made this experience easy and smooth! Before I hired James, I went to his website which shows his previous projects and this assured me that he knows what he's doing. When I called, he responded quickly and came out to give me a quote, which was most reasonable to me compared to 3 other services I called. He started right away and he completed everything within a few hours. He pointed out what was done incorrectly from previous owners' fixer upper projects and reDid it correctly.
