Very clean place with lots of history, spacious and has plenty of private rooms too. Lots of great beers on tap. Service was amazing knowledgeable and let us know her favourites to eat here. We ordered the Canada post pizza, the chicken carbonara pizza and the large salad with pears and cashews (Asian salad). The pizza was freshly made in their pizza ovens. We went to the Clock Tower the other night and sat in the pub area. The owner's wife sat us down and told us someone would be with us shortly. We waited and waited when finally a young waitress came to get drinks from the bar, we motioned to her and she said this wasn't her area but someone would be with us shortly. The same girl came back again for more drinks and we gave her the WTF gesture. Finally the owners wife came back in and asked if we had been looked after and we said no but have been asking to get service, she said she would go get someone????? Finally after waiting 28 minutes without getting so much as a glass of water a new waitress appeared and said she was so sorry could she get us a drink? We told her we were all set to order drinks and food. We ordered our drinks and nachos, which we've ordered numerous times before and which was still listed on the chalkboard beside us, she said "oh we stopped serving nachos" We got up and left. Had been regular customers but since Covid have noticed a huge drop in both the quality of service and food!! Will definitely be finding somewhere else where the food & service is at least attempted and our business is actually appreciated!!! read more

We were so happy to find this charming local restaurant after an appointment at the hospital. We were seated and waited on promptly by a polite and friendly waiter. The food was great! This is the best restaurant in Strathroy: Relaxed ambience, personable and attentive staff and splendid food.

The menu looked a little pricy for small-town Strathroy, but the decor and the taste is amazing and worth every penny! The environment is an odd juxtaposition of historic photos of the Canada Post Office building the restaurant used to be, the faux historic furnishings that retain the rustic character in a modern way, and the classic rock music playing over the sound system. If that music we're any different, this place could be mistaken for a country club instead of a Cheers, where even on our first visit it feels like everybody knows your name. Oh Sooo Good! The best fries, just all around great experience. This place works on so many levels, it is a great spot for a quick nice sit down lunch. Also for a nice dinner date this is a great spot. Groups and families I see often here having a great time. The food is excellent with all options. Not too fancy and not too pub grub. I like it a lot. It is a must try. The interior is excellent and a beautiful building in strathroy. Staff and owners are great people. The Lamb Tenderloin is amazing, the flavour from the Rosemary and perfect cut of lamb is so good. The 10z AAA Maple New York Steak with 3 Shrimp, is just amazing. So good. Sunday noon hour in downtown Strath. , We found this heritage building and are very surprised how wonderful the interior is and the staff are small town friendly The menu is lunch or breakfast and has most everything you could imagine at brunch including a wide eggs benny variety . Had lunch with friends at the Clock Tower. The Building and general atmosphere is wonderful. An old post office converted to a restaurant. The menu had a great selection from pizza to traditional pub Grub like Fish and chips. Through pulled pork sandwich we ordered was served on bread instead of a pannini bun, and was Ham and cheese! It tasted OK, but was not as ordered. Our friends ordered a wrap, and they were very happy. The prices are fair. Portions are large. The service was excellent. We will probably try it again and hopefully get the right food. read more

After reviewing their menu on their website, we looked forward to traveling to Strathroy and enjoying a great dinner and staying overnite at the Inn. To our disappointment, the wild game sharing board was no longer offered, even though it was still on the web site and on the evenings dinner menu. This is a very good restraunt. The time it takes to get the food was minimal. The food was delicious, and the service was amazing! The interior of the restauran is a very pretty place.
