What a great experience at Clock! It's a super unique vibe, and we absolutely did not expect the quality of food we received. To top it all off Kaitlin was a great bartender and server. You walk in to the building, having figured out the little speak easy code for the elevator ( just do it, it's simple). Pop up to the 6th floor and your greeted by dozens of clocks on the wall all set at 5 o'clock. We're having a good time :-) The environment speaks simple pub, old school bar. Then you have steak tartare on the menu.. ok where are we. So the tartare was excellent, as was the fillet with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was up there with any strong establishment. Can't recommend either enough. My only critiques, a little less acid in the guacamole (just a bit over powering flavor wise) and a little more acid in the spinach pesto pasta to freshen things up a bit. Both were ok, just not great. So let me call out Kaitlin a bit on the cocktails though, really great experience there. Order any cocktail that catches your attention, there's a great list. When my husband initially 'invited me out', to a speak easy for date night, I loved the concept; a hidden-away bar, where we needed to discover the code for the elevator based on online clues- I got dolled up in my best '20s interpretation & was ready for cocktails- Upon entering the building, while gaining access did still require the secret code, some of the secret felt diminished by the ample signage around the building, hallways, and elevator basically saying "this way"- I wish the' secretiveness' stayed true to the directions on the website, and didn't 'hand-feed' as we approached. The inside décor was quite delightful; true to their Clocks concept, but much of the bar is sectioned off for members- so we couldn't fully enjoy the ambiance. We ordered a Lion's Tail & Old Fashioned- both well made, both reasonably priced-both average, nothing to crave again, but a one time enjoyment. Glad we went, to try something new, but won't be a regular member-bartender was super friendly- I think being a member would make it a better experience, but we don't live close enough to find out. read more

A friend invited me here to help scope the place out for a conference reception that she was organizing. Very cool atmosphere with several clocks hanging up on the wall, games like shuffle board and a pool table in the back. Dan, the bar manager, was super accommodating and offered stellar customer service. We decided to grab dinner here as well since we were already there, and I kid you not, the smash burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had at a bar. Was a bit spicy which I loved and the drinks were awesome. They had a special drink called the last word that was very strong with a floral aftertaste that I thought was really good. Parking is easy since there's a garage around the corner. You walk into the QG, turn right, and take the elevator to the 6th floor. Clock Restoration is a chill, divey spot on top of QG. If you've ever been to the bottom floors, there's a stark difference between the lovely decor and finishes downstairs and the atmosphere upstairs. No sport coat or collared shirt needed. The food is typical bar food - deviled eggs, wings, burgers. It's all decent if that's what you're craving. You won't have your mind blown by anything, but it's not bad either. I believe all the service is done by the bartender, so it can be a little slow if you're not at the bar. All in all, it's a good spot if you're hungry in the area but not a place I would go out of my way to visit. read more

Within walking distance of our hotel. I'm always intrigued by SpeakEasies, but I'm also often let down. 7pm on a Friday and the place was half empty. Bartender wasn't overly pleasant or helpful. She was waiting tables, like ours, and covering the small bar. My Old Fashioned was excellent tasting so I will recommend. I went with the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich because they use Whiz. Taste was good but couldn't eat as a sandwich, fork was required. Side of fries was ok but nothing special. Wife went with the BLT. Loaded with bacon, but not the tastiest. Solid three star experience. Good, not great. If you're the type that would enjoy having to enter a public code to take the elevator then you'd likely enjoy more than me. read more

Such a fun speakeasy concept! Kind of hidden away so make sure you read other reviews for directions in. Loved that you have to figure out the code (although I don't know that you actually need to put the code to get up because I was confused and entered it late). Ordered a margarita and the flat burger. The margarita isn't a mix, so it's nice and fresh. The bartender was very kind and great at making drinks. I also got the flat top burger and it was soo yummy. Best burger I've had in a while. The fries are thin and were very good. We also tried the brussel sprouts which had a great honey/hot sauce on them. They weren't spicy, just flavorful. I would definitely get the brussel sprouts as a side instead of the fries next time just because they were so good. Looking forward to coming here again! read more

I was so excited to finally try CLOCK restoration and I was not disappointed! Came here with a few friends before a concert nearby and was impressed with the food! I got the deviled eggs to start and the flat top burger. Loved all of it, and the fries especially were awesome. I had got a cocktail and glass of wine here and was really happy with both. They had trivia that night that I didn't get a chance to partake in, but it sounded like it was a lot of fun. First Dan and the team were PHENOMENAL! Our Chair commented that this was THE BEST party we have ever had and we have thrown at least 20 of them in different cities. From the hospitality to the food and drinks everything was top notch! They worked their butts off! Second, the overall professionalism can't be beat! The staff constantly checked on myself and my co worker to make sure everything was going well. We never had to look for anyone, someone was always there whenever we had a question. We felt like family visiting from out of town and Dan and the team were our cousins excited to see us :) Lastly, a huge thanks for allowing us to have the space and working with our accounting office to make this happen. University payment systems can be complex and we work mainly based on purchase orders so to get this done in the last hour was a miracle. I didn't really like the food to much. I had the Philly cheese steak and it had too much season on it. It came with peppers and cheese. It was a nice size sun. Big enough to share. The bread was good but I wouldn't get that again. I also had the ceviche it was made with fish instead of shrimp. I really only tasted the sesame oil in it it was good. The bartender was very nice and she was very attentive. The ambiance was very laid back bar style. It was hard to find parking but I did like that it was a low key reserved place in the cut. We were staying at a local hotel and found this magnificent place on Yelp. We made a reservation and popped in for an early family dinner pre-aquarium visit. We had one very moody, new to braces, teenager in our party and our server, Shalyn was incredible with all of us! She made sure the adults (grandma included) were well plied with their signature old fashioned drinks and beer. She helped the 3 teens with elevated Shirley Temples. The food was incredible! We had the best pickle chips we have ever had! They make their own thin pickles in house and even our daughter who does not like pickles housed them! The crab cakes, flat top burgers, chicken sandwiches (classic and Buffalo) were incredible as were the Brussels sprouts and salads. The only disappointing thing about OG was the lack of patrons at 3:30 in the afternoon! Maybe being the Friday of Fourth of July week it's a little slow - but with the rain and this would l be a hopping place for folks after work or for families. I LOVE having to punch in the code for the elevator!! The website gives clues as to the code, however the code is also inside the elevator. Food was incredible. Service was super friendly. Eclectic classy little watering hole in the heart of Baltimore. We stopped in before an O's game on closing weekend, thanks to the other Yelpers for suggesting such an interesting place. It is in a building near Fells Point, the building also hosts a spa and a barbershop. All quite high end. Bartenders were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and I would call them somewhat of mixologists as their cocktail selection was quite delightful. I popped into CLOCK to waste time while my mom got a haircut. Well, both my mom and I were there initially, since we showed up early. At any rate, the bartender was very patient with our meandering over the menu, me tasting (and not choosing) several beers, and finally settling on wine, which wasn't on the menu. My mom ordered an Arnold Palmer, and a serving of hummus, despite the fact we'd JUST eaten. She had 2 sips of her drink and a few tastes of her hummus, then she bounced to get her haircut. I finished my wine, and packed up the remainder of her hummus and chips/green pepper slices, and enjoyed the CLOCK space. It's the perfect spot for gentlemen who frequent The QG to stop and get a drink and some food. Dark wood, bar full of bourbon, and a wall full of cool, unique, and interesting clocks. The only quirky thing is a bunch of clocks on the walls but that almost feels overdone and not matching the rest of the furniture. I didn't order any food. I did take a look at the menu and for a bar that serves $15 or so per cocktail, I've definitely had better. There were no unique flavors or syrups, it lacked the creativity or presentation you'd expect if you call yourself a speakeasy. There isn't even a garnish or anything. Just the night before I was at Blackwall Hitch and their cocktails are far better, with even nicer ambience. So if you're in the area, go there and not here. read more

We were looking for a place with a good vibe near Stevie Wonder's concert at CFG Bank Arena. The reviews led us to Clock Restoration. We were so happy with this place, which perfectly merges casual and classy! With the servers having to multitask, the service may be a little inconsistent. Nevertheless, the food came out quickly and was served promptly. It was excellent and the portions were ample. I was most impressed with the Philly Cheesesteak. As a native Philadelphian, I NEVER expect to get a "real" cheesesteak outside of the Delaware Valley. This, however, was the real deal, complete with a Liscio's roll (I'm more of an Amoroso's guy, but still...). We were sorry we had to leave the restaurant early, but needless to say, the concert was incredible! Clock Restoration will certainly be our go-to place whenever we're back in Baltimore. read more
