I believe it's the people that make an establishment successful and that's so very true of the group we had the pleasure of meeting at CLOCK. While I agree with so many of the 5 star reviews already here highlighting the unique atmosphere/experience, tasty appetizers, delicious entrees and wonderfully crafted cocktails, it was the simple person to person interaction that made us feel so welcome and part of a family. Kaitlin, Peaches and Shalyn are extremely personable and attentive and their experienced touches on food, cocktails and service really elevated the experience of just grabbing a bite. If we lived in the area, this would be a regular place for us. We may have stumbled upon it by chance, but we'll definitely seek it out the next time we're in town. Food is terrible and slow. Nothing worth ordering is available on a Saturday dinner time. Short staff, only one staff working as bartender and server. It took 30 min from ordering 4 burgers to put on our table. Server never comes to table to check on us. Bathroom was out of paper and dirty. Never go back again. read more

Yesterday was my first time visiting this fine establishment, this is truly a hidden Baltimore Gem, our mixologist was Shalyn, and the drinks she made was worth the trip in itself. The food was delicious, and the mood was just as you would expect for a Speakeasy. Laid back and relaxed. I can't talk enough about the cocktails!!!! The whiskey sour was unlike any I've ever had and the old fashioned was delicious. I'm giving my shoutout to Shalyn for the hospitality and the drinks she really made my day!!! We barely found this place and I think that's on purpose. We both walk in what looks like some kind of lobby, and my friend blurted, "I'M SO HUNGRY." She was like 6 minutes away from getting mean, so we got here just in time. The gentleman shows us to the elevator, then says, "oh, the code, hold on," as he type in some magical password on a suspiciously place number pad inside the elevator. Moments later, we were greeted on the 5th (I think) floor and invited to check out the menu. BUT, the super secret restaurant got even cooler when the menu was digital, and you had to scan a thing with your phone to pull it up. Wow. Ok so we got the spinach and artichoke dip (which was the cheesiest and best either of us have ever had), a burger with fries, and a BLT with Brussels sprouts. Everything was incredible. And then (oh yeah, it keeps going) we paid without ever touching a community pen! It was ALSO digital! Our bill was easily accessed and satisfied without even having to download an app! Cool spot to hangout in before and after my haircut. The bar feels like a cozy hideaway; it has limited bar top seating and several tables. They feature several local beers on tap and they make excellent cocktails. The head bartender Jim is a great conversationalist and has a passion for the job. I can say too much about the food. We "discovered" this hidden gem a few months ago and just love going here. The bartenders know what they are doing and can crank out a perfect gimlet or Hemingway daiquiri. This bar is so fun and has great cocktails. Not only are Caitlin and Peaches super welcoming (we went for the first time as Baltimore newbies and were treated like we were regulars), but the cocktails are as good as any hipster speakeasy if not better. This place puts on no airs. It's authentic, the folks who come here love it, and you're definitely going to have a good time. Recommended cocktails: Lion of Marquesas, Bee's Knees, and if you want a good standard - the French 75 is also great. We will definitely be coming back and bringing friends. read more

Let me tell you about this place!!! So my coworkers and I were going to the Harbor for lunch and we walked by this place and got sucked in by the picture on the outside wall. It was a picture of the most delicious looking burger I have ever seen. We walked into the establishment and was greeted by a very well dressed gentleman. We asked for a menu because we wanted the burger we saw. He laughed and said their very own chef made that burger. He told us that the menus can be found online and had us scan the QR code (fancy). So the 3 of is couldn't decide what to get because everything looked so good. So I decided on the BLT, a coworker decided on the fried chicken sandwich and the last coworker got the burger. So she said she was going to get fries with it but the host suggested to get their chips. Why did he say that...they were addicting. They were like potato chips but a thicker texture. My blt was so good. My friend said the fried chicken sandwich was better than Chick fil A and Popeyes combined. And my other coworker didnt even give a verbal answer she just kept on humming...lol..when we got back to the office and told our other coworkers about it we all agreed to order from them the next day and that's exactly what we did.
