Well we happen to live on the beach and are on the sand everyday in the summer and winter as well. What does this mean when speaking about long double coated Newfies??? Yup..You got that right...Tangles, Mats etc. Well let me tell you... The girls at Precious Pets do wonders with those kind of dilemmas. So go ahead, bring them your dirty pooch and at pickup they will return a prince or princess. I didn't love the first hair cut they gave my dog but rescheduled for another one 6 weeks in advanced since I saw them do good work on others. I scheduled far in advanced and even gave a hefty tip so that they knew I was serious about working with them long term. Fast forward, I was on my way to my appointment when I came across some traffic and called to let them know I'd be a couple minutes late. They told me they couldn't take me past 15 mins. I showed up at the mark and they turned me down at the door. I was disappointed because i called out of courtesy and it made me wonder, if I hadn't called would I have been accepted? It was also 9am so i was one of the first clients of the day. I understand the policy and should've followed the time better, but the way they spoke over the phone and turned me down in person felt so degrading. I wish they could've been more understanding and worked with me to find something that fit for everyone without having an attitude or treating me less than. I suspect that once they've reached a good amount of clients, they don't care to keep others who may be interested. I won't be returning to this location due to the costumer service. In addition, they keep all the dogs loos in one small area regardless of size. When I picked up my dog for the first time I got a ton of hair on me.

Brought 4 of our dogs to get groomed here. Initially they did a good job on my first small dog. But…read moreone of them when I came in I made sure to check my dog as much as I can. I noticed a cut in the arm pit. Told them about it and they said oh he moved a lot and maybe got clipped. Then I looked at the paws and in between the paw pads they were soooo red. It was a really bad shave burn. On all of the paws. One of the paws were so bad that it looked super irritated and it was bleeding. The front desk lady called the groomer and asked him what happened. He said that it's normal and it's a small burn. They apologized and put a spray on them. I asked if I should put something on the paws next few days and they said no he's good now. The next day his paws were bleeding. They were so red and looked super irritated. It's almost a week and the paws are still bleeding and very red.I will never take my dogs here again. The other dog I also took had similar issue with bleeding paws but was not as bad. The last dog I took acted weird for 2 weeks as if she was anxious while she ate. I know they will not take any responsibility and it's a shame because I went due to the good reviews.
