She is gentle yet efficient, and my dog always looks incredibly handsome after each visit. The holiday-themed accessories he comes home with are an especially fun and thoughtful touch. The free off-street parking at her location is also a huge convenience. I would recommend Brenda to anyone without hesitation!

She took the time to work with him at his pace, building trust with so much patience and kindness. Now he's genuinely excited to see her and is so much more comfortable with the entire grooming process. What really stands out is how much she truly cares. She goes beyond just grooming--she shares helpful recommendations for products, gives us tips on how to keep him comfortable at home, and even flags things like skin concerns early so we can stay on top of them. On top of that, she's always punctual, super responsive, and just a genuinely warm and funny person. We feel so lucky to have found her and would recommend her to everyone.

I can't say enough great things about The Common Dog…read more We have been bringing our dogs to The Common Dog for nearly 10 years, and every experience has been outstanding. They are a pleasure to do business with--unbelievably responsible, exceptionally knowledgeable, and true experts at what they do. Over the years, our dogs have attended day camp, boarded there, participated in in-kennel training, and, on occasion, been bathed there. Every service has been delivered with professionalism, care, and attention to detail. In a time when so many businesses seem to provide mediocre service, The Common Dog consistently delivers exemplary care and customer service. Their facility is immaculate, and the staff are warm, friendly, dedicated, highly skilled, and genuinely committed to the well-being of every dog in their care. Laura is a hands-on owner who is actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the business. Her leadership, expertise, and commitment to excellence are evident throughout the organization. I recommend The Common Dog without hesitation. If you're looking for a dog care facility that is ethical, knowledgeable, responsible, and truly cares about both dogs and their people, The Common Dog is second to none.

For the care of my dog - satisfactory. For accessibility-quite likely in violation of a slew of…read moreregulations, and laws. They refused to continue watching my dog, because i reminded them that their treatment of people who needed to use the accessible entrance without steps, shouldn't mean that everyonee that enters the main door gets cared cared for, and regardless of being there ahead of ALL of those people, and waiting on crutches/walker, did an attendant observe or allow access to me, my friend and a man who attempted access, over a year ago. When suffering from surgery, I asked if I should have someone else watch my dog, and they assured me they had accessibility in hand. They did not. The only reason they still exist, is because I took the high road, and didnt file a complaint with the ADA, Everett Disability commission, and sue them out of business.

Customer service here unfortunately terrible. A very disappointing experience with this dog…read moregrooming salon. They require a $30 deposit which is fine. I provided them with $40 expecting my change back they wouldn't provide change and kept the full amount. On the day of the appointment, we got lost trying to find the location and kept them updated about the situation. Instead of being understanding, they told us she only had a 15-minute window. We communicated that we wasn't sure we could make it in time since we are currently lost & our Dog had started vomiting . I asked the the person assisting me On the phone was there anyway to reschedule it and they said a new deposit was required even tho they kept the difference of the money from the deposit that they never gave back. Despite the communication, they kept the deposit and said a manager would reach out. Instead of a call, later received a letter stating they would no longer provide services. The lack of flexibility, poor communication, and unprofessional handling of the situation were very disappointing. I would not recommend this business based on this experience

Brought 4 of our dogs to get groomed here. Initially they did a good job on my first small dog. But…read moreone of them when I came in I made sure to check my dog as much as I can. I noticed a cut in the arm pit. Told them about it and they said oh he moved a lot and maybe got clipped. Then I looked at the paws and in between the paw pads they were soooo red. It was a really bad shave burn. On all of the paws. One of the paws were so bad that it looked super irritated and it was bleeding. The front desk lady called the groomer and asked him what happened. He said that it's normal and it's a small burn. They apologized and put a spray on them. I asked if I should put something on the paws next few days and they said no he's good now. The next day his paws were bleeding. They were so red and looked super irritated. It's almost a week and the paws are still bleeding and very red.I will never take my dogs here again. The other dog I also took had similar issue with bleeding paws but was not as bad. The last dog I took acted weird for 2 weeks as if she was anxious while she ate. I know they will not take any responsibility and it's a shame because I went due to the good reviews.
