I ordered a burger and a tomato soup. Both were scrumptious. Clinton hall has a heated outdoor area and it has a beer garden vibe. Most patrons were inside because it was 30 degrees outside. The inside has a full bar. It felt like the perfect place for fidi residents to hang out or those post college or early 30s. The burger was fresh and it was made medium rare like I requested. The soup was rather small for the price $7 but satisfying. It had a hint of basil along with Parmesan cheese. This place has a cute vibe I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

While looking for a late night bar option that was still serving food, this place hit the spot! The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions you receive. You can tell everything is prepared fresh and the fondue burger was one of the best I've ever had! The mozzarella sticks are also a must. The service was a little on the slower side but nothing significant of note. This location has a large outdoor seating area that is covered which includes TVs and many yard and board games scattered through the seating area. A great spot to meet up with a group of friends or a casual date night!

I enjoyed my quick brunch here! We had a deal with Pulsd. The menu that Pusld showed and the actual brunch menu were not the same. Which I was not pleased about because I already had my meal selected. But overall the mimosas did their job and our server was quite lovely. It's a cute place with a college vibe. I'll be back in the warmer months to play some of the outdoor games!

Clinton Hall has a few locations throughout NYC and we visited their FiDi location! Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed at the outdoor beer garden and can spend time trying a beautiful selection of beers with over 20 on-tap. Happy Hour is everyday from 12-6pm and we were thrilled to find Erdinger Weißbier for $6! It was so delicious! There is also a full food menu and, of course, we had to get the jumbo hot pretzel and it was one of the best we ever had! When you arrive, check with the bartender/server on where to sit. There are games and the location is very close to the World Trade Center and Battery Park.

5 stars for the beer selection, 3 stars for it is insanely loud inside so not the best place to catch up with friends if you actually want to hear what they have to say. There is a large outdoor area for when the weather is nice.

A spacious beer garden located in the heart of FiDi -- stopped by with a large group of friends and there were plenty of tables outside, all stocked with games! The service was great, especially since we had such a large party. They were able to quickly reshuffle tables to fit us all. While I loved the beer, the food was alright as best -- think classic bar food and burgers. My Buffalo Cauliflower was good, but friends felt very so-so about their burgers.

Clinton Hall is a busy beer garden with locations around the city, and just so happens to serve very delicious and affordable food and drink. The menu features bar food faves and I quite enjoyed everything we ordered: -Nachos: these were very well done. It's easy to mess up a nacho, but the chip to topping ratio here was perfect and the HUGE scoop of guac on top was not lacking. -Buffalo Cauliflower: very tasty, could have used a tad more sauce. -Doughnut Grilled Cheese: an amazing combo of sweet and savory-you must try it! The soup it was served with was also very flavorful. -Brussels Sprouts: definitely on my list of top Brussels sprouts I've had. They were perfectly crispy and well-sauced. To drink, I lived the Brit & Berries-they seem to change the drinks with the season. My only "dislike" here was the lack of much indoor seating and the noise level, but that's to be expected at a place like this. Prices were also very reasonable, and I would certainly come back!

Clinton Hall is that ideal happy hour place to go with co-workers or maybe friends too. This location in particular had plenty of outdoor seating, with swings as chairs for some seats, and a whole outdoor game area. There is a Happy Hour drinks menu, but nothing that struck out as worth getting. There was a decent collection of cocktails. I recommend the Brit and Berries ($14). Their drinks were the best kind: pretty strong, but yet tasted too sweet for you to hate it. We got a bunch of shareables to try. Their Classic Fries ($11) had a big portion size, and were surprisingly freshly crispy and salted, making them so addicting to eat! Their Cacio E Pepe Balls ($14) was not worth getting. They were not flavorful enough, and had literal pasta inside the ball. I have heard of the iconic Doughnut Grilled Cheese ($17) from a stranger who said it was so good in the past, and that got me intrigued ever since. The dish itself looked more like decor than something you wanted to eat. But after finally taking the bite, the sweet and salty juxtaposition is worth trying once if you're here. The glazed donut and cheese combo works, but maybe not so much with the tomato sauce, although it does give that pizza flare to it. My favorite of the shareables was the Philly Cheesesteak Sliders ($16). I don't normally enjoy Philly cheesesteaks, but that pretzel bun must have been putting in the work, because these buns were so soft, and that cheese just melts right into that cushiony bun. The meat was also well marinated and fatty! If you're looking to chill with co-workers after work over fun American food and great drinks, this is your place!

Very great service. I got the double smash burger and it was delicious. They also got a great selection of beer.. I tried canons and it was BOMB!! The games outside was very fun LOL giant connect 4 and Jenga. Great atmosphere and would recommend anyone coming / with big groups.

I am not the target audience for this establishment, so grain of salt going forward. This is essentially a beer hall catering to the young interns/real estate bros in FiDi, and the main reason we decided to go here yesterday at lunchtime was because it was right before Labor Day Weekend and we figured that crowd would already be at their parents' houses in the Hamptons. We were correct. I stopped here with chums for a bite to eat in the early afternoon, probably 12:45ish. Everyone else responsibly packed a lunch to eat from home, so I was the only one in need of true sustenance. Unfortunately the building Clinton Hall is housed in has scaffolding all over it right now so the outside seating isn't quite as enjoyable as it would be otherwise, but it's in a decent, bougie neighborhood with some prime pooch viewing if you're lucky enough to secure some seating by the sidewalk. One chum was VERY excited to locate the Swingers Only tables, which had swings for chairs, though the swings were anchored to the ground (I'm sure after management realized what a terrible idea it was to have unanchored swings utilized by drunk people at 11PM). Not my cup of tea, but I soldiered through it for the good of the crew. There were also numerous games to play while you waited for your orders and/or simply to pass the time, including a large chess game, cornhole and Jenga. Also, it turns out that if you're not drunk, Connect 4 becomes incredibly boring to play after game three. In case you were wondering. Most of the food on this menu could cut my life expectancy in half (the infamous glazed donut grilled cheese concoction sent shivers down my spine) and may only exist for the Instagram crowd, but the Sauce'd Pizza looked reasonably...if not healthy, not distractingly UNhealthy. It wasn't terrible. You can see from the attached photo that it's basically a very edgy Celeste Pizza (if you're unfamiliar with those, it's a thin crust pizza available in the freezer section of your local supermarket) with vodka and pesto sauces added on. It was a little drippy but because it's such a thin pizza I still had plenty of pep in my step when we left. And I'd point out for the record that this isn't a place you go to intentionally for a high quality meal, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. I wasn't in a boozy mood but my compatriots were - the cider was more warmly received than the rose wine. The service and price point to me were fine. Our waiter was very sweet/friendly, and discussed the unfortunate migrant hotel situation that has impacted everyone in the neighborhood (one of those hotels is literally right across the street). It was easy to hail him or any of the other employees down for near-term needs. My dining companions thought $18 was too expensive for this pizza, but I thought that was pretty on par for a sit-down entrée around here, and I think it unfairly suffered by comparison because Happy Hour had already started and their drinks were definitely on the cheaper side. I wouldn't have an issue stopping by again for a glass of wine and/or an outdoor game, but it's not a place I'd go out of my way to frequent, especially if the aforementioned bros are in attendance.

TLDR: Great post-work vibe for happy hour! Great music selection and so many board/card games to choose from (Uno, Jenga, chess, etc). Food and drinks are pricey {$15-$30} after happy hour so I suggest going during happy hour which is from 2 - 6pm Monday - Friday. Highly recommend the fondue burger! Pretty expensive but well worth the $15. Our server was super attentive and made sure we were well taken care of for the night! We played with abnormally large Uno cards, Jenga, connect 4, chess (outdoors), and a conversational card came called "Bad People" 10/10! The games sparked tons of really great conversation. Perfect for a first date, normal hangout, or something fun to do after work. If you like to play games to break the ice, come here :) Happy Hour from 12-6pm Monday to Friday $6 Drafts $8 Well drinks $8 Select house wines

We were looking for a spot near our WTC hotel. We loved Clinton Hall - 3 minute walk, great vibe, tasty food & friendly service. My husband loved the fondue burger (order the side of waffle fries and dip them into fondue - you can thank me later) and the cheeseburger salad was delish, too.

Beer garden- good for company bonding time! I went on a weekday after work and there seemed to be a lot of corporate people. The place was bustling with energy and it was loud, so don't expect it to be an intimate place. I kinda had to shout to talk to my friend the whole time. They have interesting menu items. I guess because it's a beer garden, they are more known for their drinks and vibes, but there I was going for the food instead. I ordered the doughnut grilled cheese. It came hot but it quickly got cold, oddly enough. As you can imagine, it doesn't taste very good when it's cold. The combination of glazed donut, cheese, and tomato soup wasn't bad. It was interesting but I wouldn't get it again.

Ask the Community - Clinton Hall - FiDi

Is there now indoor dining with the cold weather?

    Yes

Is there music , looking for an outdoor casual place with music?

There isn't any live or playing music outside.

Do you have to be 21+?

All ages are welcome, just have to be 21+ to drink!

    Good first date spot?

If you're meeting up for the 1st time, I would say it's a good spot! Have fun! Enjoy the food & games!

Does it get really busy on Saturday afternoons?

Yes! I was there on a weekend day once and it was busy, a lot of fun!

How much was the grill cheese donut and does it come with an option of non spicy version?

The Famous Doughnut Grilled Cheese is $15 and yes, it comes non spicy as well, just ask the server! Thanks.

Do you need to be 21+ to go here? Do they check ID?

They check ID, but as long as you don't order drinks, under 21 is fine. there was a family there at one point with kids, but mainly 25-35 crowd.

    Good place to watch football?

I would say no because of the seating. The Grayson or Tonic would be better locations. Plus, they show all the games on different screens

Best day and time to go?

In the Summer, and on Friday after work

Are dogs allowed on the patio?

    Yes

    Is it wheel chair accessible?

    Yes

    How is the parking?

If you're lucky you can park on the street, but good luck. If not there is a parking garage that is reasonably priced down the street on Washington St.

Should minors be accompanied by adults to go here? Edit: I understand that they should be, but are…

    Yes, this is a bar.

Is this place good to bring kids?

Not really, it's a bar. During the day might be okay as they have an outdoor area with games. I wouldn't take them there at night.

Not to mention, the upset stomach several of us have the next day. The chaotic long lines, the obnoxious social media wanna be models taking pictures all over the place, and a server who did his best with our table of 9+ but managed to add 3 items to our bill that we did not order. The standard $15 photographs. We combed through the receipt a bit more carefully this morning and it appears that at least 3 items that we did not order were on our bill. Our bill was not split like we had asked causing this unnecessary inconvenience! We will not be coming back. If you are young and want to stand on long lines to get in and another long line for an $18 weak drink, have at it. The space is also not that big for the amount of people in attendance yesterday for 5 de Mayo.

I saw this and realized the pink event would be going on for my mom's birthday so this seemed like…read morea great idea. It was just perfect from all the pink, to the food, to the drinks, everything. Only thing I can complain about is the bathrooms. There was one of those basically big kind of port a potty bathrooms where it's a little actual shack with stalls, only one was even usable lol. As we left a guy showed us better bathrooms and we were like why is this not the main? Besides that we had a blast and I'd highly recommend. We walked around after and it's just the perfect area. My mom had the best birthday ever and her bf who had never been to the area loved it. Of course him and my husband could've done without the pink but us girls loved it all :) my 7 year old son also loved all the pink.

From the moment I walked in the staff was smiling and quick to seat me shortly after they got my drinks placed and at my table. The restaurant was not only clean but lively. Music playing, nice designs on the wall, and everyone inside seemed so happy to be there. Now the most important part, the food. It was amazing, the chef's burger that I got was fresh and juicy, not to mention the fries were so crispy and good as well. I also got some wings to go for my buddy at our hotel and even after the commute my friend mentioned how good and prominent the smokey flavor of the wings were. Overall great experience and I will make sure to drop by before my flight home and any other time I'm in the area

Highly recommend.

The setting feels modern and comfortable, making it easy to sit back and enjoy your meal. It works well for both casual dining and quick business meetups. Service was smooth and attentive. The hotel location is great. There are Citi bikes right across the street. There are three coffee…read moreshops on the same block, two of which are not Starbucks. There are lots of places to eat nearby and this hotel is close to, within walking distance of WTC and Battery Park to prominent tourists destinations. The hotel is on the east of NY but a quick walk to the west connects to a bike trail that takes you all the way up the coast and is a scenic ride and/or great transportation. The room was comfortable. The shower was large and had a big shower head (high up for tall people too). The shower was spacious as well. The bathroom had both bright and dim lights. The only complaint was the water was very hot - always. The room had outlets in all the right places and automatic blackout shades on the windows. I found the 16th floor to be nice and quiet at night. The light control panel and AC panel was at the bed side which was nice as well. I would stay here again. Wall & Water, which Yelp currently lists as closed, is very much open as of May 2022. However, it is only open for breakfast from 7-11. There is no room service option but you can get to go orders. Breakfast was menu based and my basic brekky of scrambled eggs, sausage and toast and potatoes was very good. The OJ was good as well. Free coffee and tea is available in this area as well from 7 to about 2 it seemed. Once breakfast is over the space is quiet and there is a kind of second lobby of the hotel with some nice seating areas right off the elevators which reminded pretty quiet. Centric Bar & Grill is open for lunch (12-2) and dinner (4-11). I had dinner here twice and enjoyed both times. The bread pudding dessert was great. The salmon was prepared well and was as a whole a great dish sides and all. The chicken linguine was good as well. The kitchen made me a nice side salad that was off the menu as well - it was basically just spinach and tomatoes but was a big serving and had good dressing on it. The bartender was friendly and attentive enough and didn't rush you. I'm not sure if he wasn't the greatest bar tender or if his bar stock was just very limited, but he had a hard time going off the cocktail menu for me and another guest I overheard ordering.
