    Old Fashioned.

Being located at the Oculus, it's a busy and touristy spot to grab a drink. It was a nice day out, so great to sit around and people watch. I got the Apple Pie Old Fashioned ($18), which didn't taste too much like Apple pie. The drink was good, but quite pricey too. Many others were working on their laptops or just hanging around. It's a chill spot for a nice, sunny day out.

Good selection of beers, a nice spot to chill and watch people. Great location and a creative way to use that open space.

FOOD & DRINK: A Dining establishment which serves Craft Beers along with Wine and other Cocktails. The Food Menu includes Sausages, Hot Dogs, Pretzels and some TEX-MEX Snacks. The only place to eat in the immediate area which is surrounded by Tourist attractions. WORTH VISITING.

Not a bad place for some people watching. For beers they are canned only, it was about $9 per beer. They are fast and otherwise no waiter service.

Bit pricey, but what do you expect from place like this next to major tourist attraction. Friendly staff and got a lot of selection of good beer.

Great view, live music & happy hour till 6pm. This is the perfect spot to grab a quick drink before or after a night out. Conveniently located near the train right outside the oculus. Open seating.

The food was good, but I had an unsettling experience during my first visit. A security guard got rather close to observe me for an unclear reason while I was waiting for my order. This confrontational-like behavior has made me hesitant to return. This review reflects my genuine experience, and the attached photo further supports my account. Going to attach a photo on this.

Not a tourist. Stopped for a quick bite of bratwurst which comes with chips. A bit pricy and small but tasty. Def a limited menu. Nice to eat outdoors

Great vibes, okay food, solid but pricey cocktails Came here with a friend after work on Thursday, around 6:30. It was super packed then and all the tables were occupied. After a few minutes of looking around I found 2 seats at the counter in the back, and tables definitely started emptying when it got closer to 7:30/8. The vibes are great for a group hangout or catch-up with a friend. It's loud, colorful, and buzzing with energy, but very hot on a summer afternoon. I got the pretzel and my friend got a cocktail with a funny name I can't remember. The cocktail was super tasty but pretty small and pricy for $19. The pretzel was okay, not super flavorful and a little too soft but it was very large and came with mustard, cheese, and honey mustard (tbh the pretzel at treadwell is a lot better). Most of what they sell seems to be canned beer and wine, but they also have some pouches of cocktails that are fun.

An outdoor bear garden that serves a basic menu. It's really all about the scenery and atmosphere... sooooo yeah- stop in, sip a lil drink, take a few pics and share many laughs.

I had a great time here and enjoyed the vibe a lot! I was with my parents and brother and they aren't much public drinkers as they are very conservative so I, honestly, enjoyed the atmosphere and people watching! If I lived in NYC, I would always come here to relax and enjoy the scene and people watching lol it is a very chill location in front of the 9/11 memorial. I hope it's not wrong to say, but I cheered to our fallen Americans and to their families to honor them as a moment of respect. The host and hostess were super welcoming and nice, and I knew I was gonna enjoy myself here. However, the server I first got was very uptight and I just let it go since this is the city and I come from a city (Miami) so I know that city people are rough around the edges, so I paid no mind. We got another server and she was super nice and friendly and just made me happy that we got her helping us. What attracted me to this location is that they had an interesting stout. I barely drink beers and stouts are my go to and I am happy to report that I enjoyed their canned beer! Lol My parents enjoyed the Señor red sangria a lot and my brother his beer. Honestly, the price wasn't bad at all for what you're getting. I don't think it's overpriced, just average. $10 for my beer and the rest were $9. I would love to come back here with my husband and friends and just hang out and enjoy a refreshing beverage after walking so many miles around town. And the music was kickin'!!!

I couldn't quite figure out this place...its a beer garden with no beer on tap which I found quite odd. And the crowd was an Interesting mix on an early Friday evening. We got the last two seats they had available at one of the posts near the server area. We got a soft pretzel that was delicious but thats pretty hard to mess up. Just overall strange vibes, and still can't get past only having canned + bottled beers. Good location, albeit a bit tourist but not horrible.

Expensive for what it is. They only had beer in a can for $9 but the views were great! It's outdoor seating. Ok to rest your legs at but be prepared to pay.

Tucked into the Financial District, this spot blends old New York history with some of the best cocktails in the city--and it's easy to see why it's been named "World's Best Bar" more than once. The name itself has a wild backstory, inspired by a notorious 19th-century Irish-American gang from Five Points. It adds a layer of character to the place, but what really keeps people coming back is the atmosphere and the drinks. The space is split into two levels: a two lively, sawdust-floored Taprooms downstairs and a more refined Parlor upstairs if you're in the mood for a quieter, cocktail-focused experience. Drinks are the real highlight here. The Irish Coffee is widely considered one of the best in the world--rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced with whiskey, coffee, and fresh cream. They also get creative with variations like a frozen version and even an Irish Coffee martini. If you want something different, the "Act Naturally" is a standout, mixing Irish whiskey with Guinness and fig in a way that works. Food is just as impressive for a bar. The lobster deviled eggs (topped with caviar) are a must-try, and the menu leans into elevated comfort food. Overall, The Dead Rabbit nails the balance between historic charm and modern cocktail excellence. The D.R. is one of those places that is never boring and consistently delivers.

Upon arrival for our reserved time, a host assisted guests ahead of us and stepped away. Shortly after, another host came to the check-in area but completely overlooked my partner and me, instead assisting a couple behind us in the reserved line. This was noticeable and immediately set a negative tone. After seating them, the host returned and asked if we had been helped. When I said no, another staff member was called over to seat us. While we were eventually accommodated, the initial interaction made us feel dismissed and unwelcome from the start. The experience did not improve. Our food was delayed with little to no communication, and the service remained inattentive throughout. In addition, the seating area was uncomfortably cold, with only a small space heater attempting to warm what felt like a large, open structure. We ultimately decided to leave early. A more senior host did apologize as we were packing up to go, which I appreciate, but by that point the overall experience had already been impacted. But not in a while.  I wanted to take in a cheeseburger. I hate GrubHub. I hate the fees, and how unreliable it can be. Especially on a Saturday night. So I went to the restaurant's website to order directly and pick it up myself. I looked at the menu on the website - I found the burger I wanted and the Cheesesteak Spring Rolls looked good. However, the restaurant doesn't take orders on their website. So I called. No one picks up. It's an automated phone tree. No live person. I went down to the restaurant. I had to wait a couple of minutes for someone to greet me at the hostess' podium. Two people finally came and they directed me to the bartender. This restaurant obviously make its money from the bar. But there was only one bartender taking care of the entire restaurant's drink orders. The place wasn't that busy (for a Saturday night), but the bartender had his hands full. He finally took my order. I waited for 30 minutes. Not once was I invited to sit down - despite only two of the bar stools being occupied. Not once was I offered a water, or asked if I wanted to order a drink. NOT ONCE did someone from the restaurant engage me in any way. They could have found out that I live on the same block, and that I have a family. They could have invited me to come back. Perhaps give me an incentive to come back. Nothing. It's just stupid business. I figured this was probably why the restaurant wasn''t full on a Saturday night. I also observed servers picking up their tabes' drink orders from the bar, and sampling the beverages with a straw to see which was which. I suppose it's good that they wanted to know which drink to serve to whom. However, if it were me, I wouldn't be thrilled to know my server was drinking from my glass. After that first 30 minute wait, I found one of the hosts and asked him to check on my order. Five minutes went by. He never came back. A few minutes later the hostess came over to me and told me it'd be another two minutes. It wasn't. It was longer. I asked if I could pay. It should be noted that the prices on my bill were 15% higher than on the restaurant's website. Not a big deal, but just another example of how this place didn't get too much right last night. When my food FINALLY came out, I checked it. It seemed correct. It wasn't. When I got it home and started eating, I realized my burger was a CHICKEN sandwich. I called the restaurant and got the automated phone tree again. And there is NO OPTION to speak with a person. I didn't feel like going back out so I decided to eat it. The chicken was pounded so incredibly thin. The sandwich was more cheese and onions and bread soggy from grease than anything else. The French Fries were little more than a mound of salt. And the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls - that I was really looking forward to - were over-fried, salty, and greasy. This was a big disappointment. A waste of $50 and time.

I found the 16th floor to be nice and quiet at night. The light control panel and AC panel was at the bed side which was nice as well. I would stay here again. Wall & Water, which Yelp currently lists as closed, is very much open as of May 2022. However, it is only open for breakfast from 7-11. There is no room service option but you can get to go orders. Breakfast was menu based and my basic brekky of scrambled eggs, sausage and toast and potatoes was very good. The OJ was good as well. Free coffee and tea is available in this area as well from 7 to about 2 it seemed. Once breakfast is over the space is quiet and there is a kind of second lobby of the hotel with some nice seating areas right off the elevators which reminded pretty quiet. Centric Bar & Grill is open for lunch (12-2) and dinner (4-11). I had dinner here twice and enjoyed both times. The bread pudding dessert was great. The salmon was prepared well and was as a whole a great dish sides and all. The chicken linguine was good as well. The kitchen made me a nice side salad that was off the menu as well - it was basically just spinach and tomatoes but was a big serving and had good dressing on it. The bartender was friendly and attentive enough and didn't rush you. I'm not sure if he wasn't the greatest bar tender or if his bar stock was just very limited, but he had a hard time going off the cocktail menu for me and another guest I overheard ordering.
