Sebby actually took the time and walk on my roof from front to back. He took pictures of the damage tiles and texted them to me. On 11/13/25 I received my proposal letter for cost of repairs. They were polite and informative but unfortunately were not able to come to terms with my insurance adjuster due to a lack of sufficient information requested by the insurance company. Contacted another company through Yelp and do have an agreement. Just a heads up, their quote was right on target with my insurance company where Mills Roofing was significantly higher.

Unfortunately, their bid was a full $15,000-20,000 higher than literally any other bid I received (BEFORE any additional labor charges) which is honestly, complete insanity. The other 5 companies I got bids from were respected, highly reviewed business also -- it's not like I'm comparing Mills to unlicensed, under the table deals. And I'm just a normal residential homeowner, ~1400sqft of roof, not even like a giant industrial complex! For that reason alone Mills was immediately out of the running. I'm sure they do great work based on these reviews, but you'll certainly pay for it.

Ed and Shay helped develop and coordinate the project. Extra steep, three layers. Cedar shake. Everything to make it a challenge for the removal. On top of all of that there was rain, the one time we have rain this summer. It ended up being a 2 week project that they obviously had to do in between other projects. The roof came out nice and now fully vented up to code. Some suggestions for improvement for lobo: perhaps show clients shingle options before work has started. Also some communication leading up would be nice. But overall they did well on this challenging project.
