All CPLs seem to be inefficient but this one is by far the worst in the area. Even coming at an off time (late morning) and only three other people in the waiting room it's still a ridiculously long wait. This lab is so easy for my limited mobility to access. Even tho it was very crowded, they have a rhythm and process that sees patients who walk in. The four stars is for seating as it is difficult to keep distances. The best part was Joan and her wonderful attitude. read more

VERY unprofessional office. When I called a few days ago, people on their phones were way past rude. Made an appointment, showed up early and they were running behind with one Phlebotomist (supposedly) out of 3 doing their job. Never saw the other 2 and there was a room FULL of patients just sitting there in the lobby. One office person doing everything. My Dr. sent orders and they had no idea where the paperwork was. Phleobotomist, while somewhat polite was horrible with the needle and I get blood draws all the time. Clueless! Will never waste my time or excellent insurance going there again. There are plenty other labs out there with Professionals that know what they are doing. So disappointing. A disgraceful way to run a Lab. Never again! read more

The front desk person is not very helpful or friendly. She appears unwilling to help or assist clients when asked for information or assistance. She frequently answers questions rudely with her voice raised. It appears that she is the only person at the front desk and I am sure is stressed with a roomful of clients. read more

Pre COVID and during COVID they are consistently slow! Been this way forever- it's a crap shoot! I have given these people many chances. The computer is down again. Manually taking names and has everyone spell their name three times. So slow getting the paperwork ready. The techs stood around waiting for 2 people at the front desk to get the paperwork ready. And it took forever! Their computers are working - just no check-in computers. Never saw one of them produce any paperwork or call a patient. read more

This was my first time at this location and I was very much pleased with the visit. The receptionist was extremely cordial and friendly. The lab technician was also friendly and prompt and had no trouble completing her assignment and getting me on my way. The entire experience was very professional, friendly and fast. I was a little skeptical of this location due to all the bad reviews. I almost went somewhere else, but decided to give it a try. The moment I walked in, I was cheerfully greeted by a worker. The receptionist was kind and helpful. Both the waiting and blood draw area were clean and neat. From the time I left my car until I got back it was less than 10 minutes! Ignore the bad reviews. I called this morning to see if they were open yet - a sleepy person answered and I wondered if I had the right number, it sounded like I woke someone up. I asked her if they were open for business, she said Yes and I wanted to know if they had my orders, which they did. I then asked, where are you located? and she said she didn't know, she is from out of town! I wanted to ask her, then how did you get there? But I wanted to get my bloodwork done early and get out of there. Evidently, 20 other people had the same idea I did because the very small office was jam packed with people. There was a sign at the front desk saying they were experiencing delays. I signed in and waited. No one was being called, and I had a bad feeling. I had to fast and was not in the mood to be in that cramped little dirty looking office all morning so I told the receptionist I was going to the Austin Street office. She did not even bother looking at me when she asked my name, DOB, and 'okay, I got you'. I left that place, vowing to never return, and headed down to the Austin Ave. location where I got in and out in no time. read more

If I could leave no stars I would. I've been coming here at least once a month for a year and everytime I'm disappointed. Today will surely be my last at this particular location. The door stated "no internet, paper orders only." And they let you know when you walk in also that they have been out a week. I can understand how frustrating that is but that is no reason to treat the patients rudely. The lady at the front desk has an atritude with people asking simple questions about whats going on. I was taken back by a technician, whom didn't have a name tag or introduced herself so I did not get her name. When she asked what arm I preferred, I replied with whatever you get lucky on. Now, i know im a difficult stick, I know my veins better than anyone. I told her this and she arrogantly and very rudely said, "you need to drink water, it has everything to do with it." I replied, "i have drinken water but with me it had nothing to do with it." She sighed as she walked to get a smaller needle and said "oh yes it does." Poked me twice once in the arm and hit a tendon and the second in my hand and left a bruise in my knuckle. I am used to getting stuck more than once. That was not my issue. My issue was her not wanting to listen to me and thinking she knew best. I am only posting in hopes that a higher up will see this and address their attitude with them. read more

So many poor reviews for this site but my experience was great. Daniela S. went above and beyond to get my orders from my physician's office since they had not been entered into the CPL database. The phlebotomist was great too. I'm an easy stick but I had 7 tubes drawn. The stick was painless. This center deserves a 5 star rating! read more

After having some disappointing experiences with medical professionals, I've been relying on reviews a lot. I also try to notice when things goes well. I had a really good experience with this CPL. I stopped by without appointment on a weekday morning. Check in was quick. There was 1 person in front of me and I was seen within 5 minutes. The phlebotomist was awesome. Not only was she friendly and funny, but she was super quick and great at what she does. If I ever need blood drawn again, I'd go back again just to see her. read more

Worst place ever, once here is enough. Under staffed and the staff present are slow, rude, and disorganized. I come here monthly for lab work so I know I haven't just caught them on a bad day. This place is consecutively horrible. The front desk team is always rude and disrespectful (not just to me, I notice this attitude towards all other clients). This location has gone downhill since my last visit to have blood drawn last year. Waited over an hour after registering in their system at the clinic on Williams Drive. Most of the employees are extremely slow and inefficient. The person who drew my blood was excellent; however she rotates to other sites and told me their system has been losing customer names when they sign-in at the desk. No sign posted and no one made any attempt to tell customers that if you haven't been called for blood in 15-20 minutes to let them know. The way they operate, I watched them call patients to provide their drivers license, insurance card blood test paperwork multiple times and lose their seat in the waiting room; this occurred 2-4 times for some people. Also, when I went to give my urine sample and opened the door to provide mine to the lab tech, there were 5 other urine samples stacked in the doorway. I told them that this practice negates any quality control of the sample and is totally unprofessional. Needless to say, I think it is time to utilize a better blood lab for my business! read more

Had an exceptionally disappointing experience here. One of the women, I believe her name was Jordan, was very snippy and rude while I was waiting with my mother to get her blood drawn and made us feel very uncomfortable. Very disrespectful given that many individuals who come to get their blood drawn have serious medical complications. read more

Very helpful and efficient staff. Jordan was extremely helpful in assisting me with my insurance and bloodwork. I am glad to have CPL here in Georgetown providing an alternative to the other local labs who are extremely expensive. I will return for future work. read more
