INSTEAD: TWICE fasted for 12 hours + drove to Quest FOR NO VALID REASON + WASTED TIME + GAS + $ IN PROCESS. ALSO wasted extensive amount of time fruitlessly ATTEMPTING to reschedule appointment - to no avail. Quest website ALSO fails to indicate on its effectively-USELESS calendar - and/or confirm via email and/or provide QR code for phone-scheduled appointments - - AND fails to allow rescheduling of order-associated appointments - - SO: - ALSO wasted MORE of own time + that of BOTH pcp staff AND cardiologist staff - reordering SAME bloodwork tests 3 TIMES - - the last 2 orders for NO VALID reason - - as ONLY Quest aware of (first 2) still-valid tests. OVERALL QUEST PATIENT EXPERIENCE(S) IS/ARE MUCH MORE THAN 1 INTERACTION DURING 1 VISIT. The front desk is mostly pleasant to deal with and the phlebotomists are efficient. No one likes to get blood drawn, that's for sure, but this Labcorp, in my experience, makes it a mostly painless experience - pun intended!

That's a lot being said for a service that sticks a needle into your arm but in all honesty, I have referred many others to this lab and will continue to do so as their service is a "breath of fresh air" compared to the cold and distant personalities of other labs. ....however..... Was not too pleased with Philo on 12/23/2024, 2 PM as she was rushed, "No blood only air," did you drink anything today? "All I'm getting is dehyro patients today". etc. NOT GOOD. Louanne saved the day when she took over and successfully extracted 6 Viles with breathtaking ease. I would have given ya 5 but one variable got in the way. Hopefully the issue has been addressed.

I prefer heading to this location in Newington as it usually is one of the less crowded ones in the area, meaning you "might" be able to schedule a same day visit, which when you are sick is important. Once you check in and your name is called - the staff will bring you back and they have always been nice to me. To date - I have always been treated with kindness and they are very effective at getting you in and out the door. Pro Tip - think you can just show up as a walk in and be seen - be careful you probably will have to wait an hour (or more) - trust me I know from experience.

While you're talking, she'll insert the needle, and before you know it, she's done. I notice that the one star reviews were from people who visited in 2014, 2020, and 2021. These reviews have nothing to do with the current situation at CLS. Those techs are gone. I visited in those years, and I probably would have given a 1-3 star rating, also. I hate needles, but Stephanie puts me at ease!!!

I filled everything out so it had my first name and the technician should have verified everything and corrected any issues. What a waste of time and now the test has to be done all over again. I was able to show them the confirmation on my phone that they had sent me. After further argument they got me in for my chest x ray. The staff that took the X-rays were exceptional. I can't complain about them at all. But upon leaving they were instructed to provide a cd with the images on it. I waited forever. Then realized they had closed!! They went home!! Disgusted by these folks.

Located on the Silas Deane Highway and a stones throw away from I-91, this is my "go to" facility for all my emergency and routine diagnostic needs. Their equipment and technology is state of the art and their staff has always been consistently professional no matter what time of day I have gone. I am sure they must see a lot of unhappy people on a daily basis but they treat each patient with the same level of friendliness and caring compassion. And the best part - extended hours beyond 9-5pm which is great because sometimes the necessity of diagnostic studies falls beyond the realm of normal business hours.
