What a cool place! Had no idea this was here, and decided to check it out last weekend. My kids loved it! They are great climbers, but did find a little bit of challenge with some of these walls. My kids absolutely loved this place. We had some time to kill before our flight so we bought them both unlimited passes. There is no height requirement...just weight. 35 pounds is the lowest and 250 is the largest. My son is 4 years old and 40 pounds and had no issues. A little downside was that 8 of the climbs were out of order for maintenance but they automatically gave a 20% discount for the inconvenience. FYI there is a small 3.99 charge per spectator as well. read more

My daughter had a blast climbing. She opted for the unlimited climb (one climb session, unlimited time, but you can't leave and come back). You have to buy a spectator pass to watch and I think it's required for young kids (maybe 12 and under). So, it was ~$30, but a big activity, great exercise and lots of pictures. Staff at the front desk was very friendly. They have like ~30 or 40 different walls. My 12 year old was able to do every one to the top, but some are more challenging. I brought my niece and daughter here a few weeks ago, and they had a great time. I do value the safety briefing they provide before climbing. Both children and adults can enjoy their several walls, which range in difficulty. Even though we are not climbing, they charge about $6 to watch your child climb, so even though I would return, I would definitely go climbing this time. Although it was a fun experience overall, I was a little confused by the additional fee to be in the area which is why I give it a 4 versus 5. read more

The customer service here is EXPECTIONAL! We flew all the way from Las Vegas JUST for MOA. We walked up, asked for a 60-minute climb session and asked about military discount. They applied a great military discount and told us about all the other businesses that offer the same discount. There is a manager there (forgot his name) who interacted with my oldest daughter. He encouraged her to try some of the hardest climb sections. Gave her tips and even challenged her to do some climbs differently to challenge herself. There was a Crayola colored climb that she became climb #198 to ever complete it. There was a regional manager Steven who was awesome!!! He came and chatted with me and we told him we booked a family vacation just for MOA and their climbzone. He offered us an additional 30mins longer climb on the house as it wasn't packed and we came a long way. The customer service at this place is over the top. I am thankful to have interacted with them. It has made my vacation so much more special! read more

Another new venue at MOA. We stopped by to watch our granddaughter. Even though she is not quite five, she scaled several of the walls with glee. It looks like a real fun climbing area. Adults can do it also. Just watching the kids climb was fun and cost free. read more

Our 7 year old son in loved this place. We reserved an hour slot ahead of time via their online booking system. Pretty seamless at check-in as a result. He got in his harness, got instructed all within just a few minutes, then you are on your own. I thought an employee would be helping with each harness click in and out but they make it so easy it really isn't necessary. I'd say if under age 6 or 7 then a parent needs to be ready to assist after each climb. Saw a number of you get kids enjoying themselves as well and 2 or 3 adults too, but definitely kid focused. Awesome new climbing place geared towards kids but hard enough for adults still depending on your experience. My niece is 6 and is 46" in height and loves this place! She doesn't make the top to every one but gets pretty high on majority of them. They are varying heights along with varying difficulty. They even have 3 different heights of warped walls! The staff is friendly and is constantly surveying the area to ensure safety standards are met. The harnesses can be difficult to snap into the hook so adult help is for sure needed for that party. read more
