She came to my house and picked everything up the weekend before. Called all my vendors a few days out to make sure everyone knew where they needed to be and at what time. We only met once right after I got engaged and I knew she was the gal for me. After a short conversation I felt very comfortable that she knew exactly what I was looking for. She gave me all kinds of great tips and recommendations. Because of the venue I got married at, there was no dressing area for me to hide in, so I didn't arrive at the wedding until it was time to walk down the aisle. I hadn't seen the venue decorated until then. I could not stop looking around. She made my wedding more beautiful than I imagined it would. If she was stressed out, it didn't show. Every time she talked to me she was as cool as a cucumber. I can't sing her praises enough!

Could be SO much better…read more Just moved here from out of state recently. My 4-year old son misses his friends, so I wanted to take him to a place where he could play with other kids. I searched online for an inflatables place and was surprised there weren't more of them in the Northeast suburbs. Pump It Up wasn't too far, so we went there. My GPS took us right to the building, but I had to drive around a bit to find Pump It Up. It's in an office building complex and it's at the far end of the building. We went inside and the reception area is nice. They have a vending machine for snacks and before you go in, the parents and kids have to watch a safety video, which is short and helpful so everyone understands the rules. Then we are led to the rooms with the inflatables. The place seems clean, but it's too dark to really tell. I didn't think they were overstaffed today. There was one person at the front desk and two staff in the play area. They seemed attententive. One of them helped a boy find his family (because it was probably too dark in there for him to see). As Eva B. stated in her review, there are two rooms with inflatables and three inflatables in each room. Not a lot of variety. There weren't a lot of kids there, so over-crowding wasn't an issue. Each room is pretty dimly lit (think of a movie theater before the previews start). There are two very uncomfortable benches for parents to sit in each room. One room was pretty warm and the other was cool - they were connected by open doors so the kids could go from room to room. One of the rooms has an air hockey table that appeared to be free, although it was so crowded all the time, we didn't go over there to check it out. The inflatables places I'm used to going have tables for the parents and wi-fi access. They also have snack bars. You won't find those things here, I'm afraid. Some parents were even sitting on the floor because the benches are so uncomfortable. This place only has 4 open play sessions each week for only an hour and a half each. At $6, it seems pretty expensive. Still, we'll probably go back simply because of the lack of options. The staff is friendly and my son had a good time.

The parking was very easy, pulled right up to the door, walked right it (moms with young kids know how nice this is, especially in snow & ice). The staff greeting us warmly, and showed up around, took my son's jacket and gear, and then the birthday present. We sat in a nice waiting area, watched a safety video, and then the kids got started jumping. I felt at ease for an hour chatting with other parents as we watched the kids, it was safe and so much fun for them. It wasn't crowded either. Then we all went into the party room, ate pizza and cake. The staff has the routine down like a well-oiled machine. They gave the kids friendly instructions and got them to participate during each transition, they even wrote down each gift and the gifter for the parents, so the parents could take pictures and watch the birthday girl enjoy. We ended exactly at 3:00 as it said on the invitation said. The airlines could take a few lessons from their staff: friendly, fun and on time. I had so much fun and so did my son that we've decided that it is worth the splurge to have his next party here.

On that Monday before graduation I texted **** to confirm what date he will be coming to install the tent. He answered 'let me check'. The next day (about 24 hours later), I texted him again to confirm and he replied 'I'll check'. I asked him to confirm as soon as possible. The following day, which was Wednesday (my son grad party was on Saturday) he texted me that he did not know yet as there was storm that day and they still had tents for Thursday and Friday to set up and could be Saturday morning. I mentioned the party is Saturday at 11:00am and I had not worked with companies previously that installed the tent on day off. I wanted to make sure he would give me time to set up that day and decorations. He replied there are lots of companies that set up graduation tents the morning of, they will not risk their lives for me to do decorations. Of course I was not asking him on that Wednesday, so not sure why he even said that. He said worse case would be Saturday at 7am arrival/set by 8. I answered I understand and to let me know. On Friday, around 5:45pm I texted him to confirm me and also left him a voice mail. At 7:03pm, I texted him again to let me know so I knew for sure he was coming. At 9:35pm, he texted me that he is cancelling my order and refund my money claiming that the environment for his employees would be too hostile at my place. I never said anything hostile, just asking him for confirmation. He knew all along he would not be able to meet his commitment for our order and use this excuse to put us in a terrible situation less than 24 hours before our party. My instinct was right. This is terrible business practice, very unprofessional and would never recommend him to anyone. It was the meanest thing I experienced as customer.

I…read moream realizing that this company seems to also go by the names of OMEGA EVENT RENTAL & TABLE and TENT EVENTS - I wish I had known that earlier and connected these reviews here with this company. I had reserved two tent packages with Doug in March for my daughter's graduation party in June. I even paid the premium for Peak tents since Doug mentioned that they are nicer looking, less used and therefore in better condition. 6 days before my event, Doug confirmed he will be delivering the tents on Thursday/friday and ran my credit card for the remaining balance. On Thursday, Doug and two high school boys showed up with the tents and tables. Doug dropped off the tables, left the boys to set up the tent and left saying that he would be back to deliver the chairs. I checked in on the boys setting up the tents every now and then and when they finally had the tents up, I went to look at them from inside and found them to be extremely dirty/shabby looking (black dirty spots all over and even noticed some cobwebs hanging) and one of the tents even had some holes. There was one decent sized hole right in the middle next to the center pole and there were a few other smaller holes. When I pointed these to the boys, they said they would let Doug know and they left. I tried calling/texting Doug several times in the hope that he would stop by to take a look and offer some solutions (maybe there was a way to clean the tents & patch the holes) but he did not respond for 4 hours. When he finally responded, he just said there was nothing wrong with the tents - just regular wear & tear (without even taking a look at the tents). I then sent him a picture of the underside of the tent to show how dirty it was and to show him the big hole in the center and asked him to confirm if this was what he meant by regular wear & tear. He did not respond to the picture. I finally asked him to just take the tents down since they were no where near presentable condition and he promptly responded saying he would take them down the next morning provided I agree that I will not get any refund since he could have used these tents elsewhere had I not reserved them! Next morning, the two boys came to deliver the chairs & remove the tents. He did not have the decency to show up even once and look at the tents with me or address my issues. Customer satisfaction was obviously not his concern - just that he gets to keep the money that I had paid him. Once my event was over, I wrote an email to Doug summarizing my experiencing and expressing my dissatisfaction with his service along with several pictures of the tent. As expected, he did not respond. In the end, not only do I feel that I was cheated, my event suffered since I did not have any tents to provide shade to my guests and neither did it have the look and feel that I desired.  This was the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced in all my interactions with the service industry in the past.
